Without consent is to be a being FAR worse than any mortal rapist or mass murder.

No, if you are insane, and someone heals you, are they worse than a mass murderer for healing you?
You cannot choose to not believe if you are really saved. You won't ever want to be apart from God.
Somebody who forces someone to believe something is a brainwasher.
Somebody who forces themselves on another is a rapist.
Somebody who treats something just to kill it is a murderer.
Somebody who forces people to gruesome burning is a extreme narcissist.

Calvin did not write the verses in the Bible that speak of election and predestination.
No, Calvin misunderstood these verses and preached that incorrect understanding.
A man must believe in Christ. This is a choice, that God offers to all men, because He loves all men. Calvin, with all due respect, lost sight of that love.

This word means to appoint before hand very similar to making an appointment or a reservation; arranging in advance for something to happen at a certain time. When God looked down through time to see us making our decision to be saved, He made an appointment for us to be conformed to the image of His son.
Bible says, Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matt. 7:7-8)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
“For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40)

There is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." Romans 3:11,12. This includes you and I as well as all mankind.
God *offers* His gift of salvation to every individual. Each individual has the choice whether or not to accept it. It's their choice. God never forces anything. Those that accept and believe shall be saved. Those that reject shall not be.
Now, God does know everything in advance-- He know's what choice each person will make, He knows how this goes down. But He still lets each person have their choice, and we each must make it.
With all due respect, I find this verse to have a very different meaning.
No where in scripture does it say that God's purpose in predestination was a choice we would make. None of can even come to Jesus unless God draws us so that right there is clear.
In Him we were chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him Who works out everything in conformity to the purpose of His will. Eph. 1:11
It was God's plan and purpose - not any choice we made. Did John the Baptist choose to be a prophet?
