Where does Jesus say that the gospel is that he died for us, was buried, and rose again?
In peace

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15:3

Paul said he received this gospel from Jesus.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:12

I am still in the wrong 'decades ' with some things, but nearer to ' getting it ' than I was xx
Rita

It took me years Rita. :)
I think I had a thick head!!
Something I had to learn more than one..."round the mountain and round the mountain again. "

"Times and seasons"...

Phil 1-6 "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.."

You are right on track Rita. :)

This is a wonderful verse in Philippians that I often think of...:)

I do love Philippians as a whole, also...

Let me ask the question again.

Where does Jesus say that the gospel is that He died for us, was buried, then rose again.

Hi Farouk ,
There are things we grasp on a spiritual level quickly, but there are other things that can take ' decades ' to learn- and sometimes we get stuck. We grasp, or appear to, only to realise that we haven't grasped it at all. Round and round we go endeavouring to learn the same thing over and over again.
Each of us have weak areas of faith , blind spots that take time to fully grasp - so my reference was in line with that. God started his work decades ago, I have grown in so many ways , but I am a work in progress.

I do love the verse Philippians 1.6: 'He that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ'.

none of these use the term "gospel" tho, can you clarify, or is the term used close by any of these?

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1 Corinthians 15:1
Paul says it is the gospel

In many parts of Scripture. All of it is Jesus telling you what you need to know. However, if you want to words of Christ, study the Gospel of John.

DEATH
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:14,15)

BURIAL
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit... And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. (John 12:23,24,32)

RESURRECTION AND ASCENSION
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know...Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. (John 14:3,4)

Where in your quoted scripture does this say or apply that this is the gospel?
I would also encourage you to read the other 3 Gospels.

This is one of the issues that this video touches on. Check it out if you want more info:

It does not have to say "This is the Gospel". The words themselves present the Gospel, and John 3:16 (which could also have been included) is the Gospel in a nutshell.

The gospel according to whom? With what you are sharing, all someone needs to do is pick one or two verses out and say "this is the gospel" and claim that the words say it.

Something more concrete than that needs to be established to be made convincing.
