We are to worship, praise, and obey God. I am sure when the time comes and Jesus makes His appearance even the animals will bow down to Him and the mountains will part for Him.

all of creation was made for one purpose, to bring glory to God. Yes as it is said, if the people did not speak the rocks would have.

hiAre all creatures ( human – animals – mountains ….. )must worship God ?
I wouldn't say we "must" worship God. Because if we must worship God, that means we're being forced into it. And God never really forces us to do anything. Even a quick glance at the Bible shows that everyone failed to worship God at one point or another.

God never revokes our free choice to ignore him. Although that's not really a strategy I recommend.

No. He gives us all the option of thumbing our nose at Him and going our own way, but there is a cost associated with that decision. Doing so ensures that they spend eternity apart from Him, which I would imagine is a decision they forever regret.SealedEternal

The question is...what all does 'thumbing our noses' include ?

We were made for God. Animals were made for us to take care of, etc. Either way, trees and animals glorify God.

Oh I don't know? Let's just say as a random example:Luke 16:18 "Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.” I Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such WERE some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.Some people seem to think they can thumb their nose at this clear commandment and still inherit His Kingdom, but He clearly refutes that claim.SealedEternal

Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. I was thinking more along the lines of some arrogant christian who runs around falsely accusing the brethren even when his views have been thoroughly refuted

Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
I wasn't referring to Old Covenant people:Matthew 19:7-9 They *said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY?" He *said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way."And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery." I was referring rather to New Covenant marriages:Matthew 19:3-6 Some Pharisees came to Jesus, testing Him and asking, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?" And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE,and said, 'FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH'?"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."Mark 10: 6-12 "But from the beginning of creation, God MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. "FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." In the house the disciples began questioning Him about this again. And He *said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her; and if she herself divorces her husband and marries another man, she is committing adultery."Luke 16:18 "Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.” SealedEternal

Interesting that youve derailed this thread so much, David

My original point was whether thumbing our nose at God might include falsely accusing the brethren and youve turned this into a divorce debate.

I won't derail the discussion any further, but you asked for an example of what thumbing ones nose at God may include, and I gave you one. SealedEternal

More or less, ignoring God, snubbing Him, etc. We are given the option, as humans to do so. But, hopefully, most of us here don't..
