I have been trained in seminary. Raised a Christian in churches. Been a minister of the Gospel of the Kingdom for two decades. What does Scripture say about being under Grace? What does being under grace mean? I have my convictions about the subject, but I want to see if the there is a general definition agreed upon as the core Christian doctrine for being under grace.

Living, and being thankful, in God's mercy. That we are not worthy for. It's a little vague, I know.

Some assume that if because tthey believe Jesus paid the price for their sns and they are not under the law ffor righteousness, then they are automatically under grace. However absense of law is just lalessness, grace is what Jesus was "full of" (John 1:14) - the nature and works of God. He was full of the Holy Spirit, "the Spirit of grace", only by receiving abd walking in the Spirit, the law of the Spirit of life that sets free from the law of sin and death ("the flesh") are you truly under grace. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.(Zec:12:10)they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance . . the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:4, 39)Have you received that manic? If not, you still don't know the grace of God in truth. The GOOD NEWS is that God is ready, willing and able to fulfil this promise in you today.

I believe it means that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.I believe we fully, completely, wholly live under God's grace and His grace alone. We do not live by our own righteousness at all, by any measurable amount at all. We live entirely by God's grace, both in this life and the life to come. We are saved by grace, through faith. Not of works, lest any man boast, and no amount of keeping or breaking the law can change God's Work on the cross. We live by grace, and grace alone.

Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

You bet Tallman I am full of it
Do you teach that some people have the grace of God in them before they receive the infilling of the Spirit, speaking in tongues? If so, please say why

Under grace:I believe it means having faith (being convinced) in His grace to save you from your sinful nature (yourself). To believe, that in spite of your sins that you really don’t want to do, His grace is sufficient to cover your sins.Richard

That we are loved and forgiven by His grace. He doesn't need us and yet loves us.

I read a little futher and it was explained Charis-Joy, pleasure, dilight sweetnessMerciful kindness by which God exerts his holy influence upon souls-turns them to Christkeeps themstrengthens themincreases themknowledgeaffectionbrings them to christian virtuesOne governed by the power of divine Sounds like the Holy Spirit. Grace came upon men in the Old testament. They would find grace in the sight of God.When I went back and replaced grace with Spirit it still made sense.

manichunter, The term GRACE, as translated from Greek, means Undeserved Kindness. The reason why this is so important is the fact; Only through Undeserved Kindness can a person be Declared Righteous. Since we are all really unrighteous, because we cannot obey God's laws perfectly, we all deserve to die for our sins. Jesus came to earth as a Ransom Sacrifice so that our sins are not charged to us, but to Jesus who died for our sins. At Romans 3:21-26 we see a very good insight into this principle. Only through faith in Jesus can were be declared righteous, Gal 2:16. If we want to live forever as Jesus came to earth to provide for us, we must put our faith in his ransom sacrifice, and try our best to obey the laws that Jesus reiterated from the Mosaic Law Covenant, obey the law of the Christ, Gal 6:2, the Golden Rule, Matt 7:12,The Kingly Law, James 2:8, and obey the two most important laws of the Mosaic Law Covenant, Matt 22:36-40. Christians are not under the Mosaic Law Covenant, but the requirements that were reiterated were things that would likely be in any covenant with God.

One meaning of grace is unmerited favor of God or God giving us something that we do not deserve, but many people think grace is something but it really is a word to describe, Grace is being forgiven, is strength to do all things through Christ etc. Grace is ALL that God impart to man through Christ.
