Hear the Word of the Lord

Hosea 4:1-6 You inhabitants of the Land of Israel, hear the Word of the Lord: There is no good faith or loyalty and no [very little] acknowledgement of God in the Land. People break oaths, they kill and commit adultery. Violence and apostasy rule, there is no justice. But it is not for mankind to bring charges, it is My contention and it is with you, the prophets and priests. Day and night you blunder on in your ignorance of My true Word. You bring your nation to ruin with your want of knowledge. As you reject the teaching of God, so I reject you as My priests.[Rabbis in Israel]

Therefore the Land will be made desolate and all who live in it will suffer, the animals, birds and even the fish will vanish.

Hosea 4:7-19 The more priests there are, the more they sin against Me. Their dignity I shall turn into dishonor. The leaders of My people [Judah and Israel] have given themselves to immorality and strong drink, their wits are dulled and they seek advice from divinators.
A people so devoid of understanding will soon come to grief, a powerful wind will hit them and they will realize their practices and beliefs are a delusion.

Hosea 5:1-12 Hear then, you congregation leaders of My people: Sentence is passed on you because you have misled your flocks. I shall punish all those who spread false doctrines and now all Ephraim, Israel [the Western nations] have become promiscuous and their misdeeds have barred their way back to their God. So now a terrible invader is set to devour their lands.
Sound the alarm! On the Day of wrath and punishment Ephraim will be laid waste, certain desolation is decreed for Israel and Judah.


Hosea 6:1-3 Come let us go back to the Lord, He has punished us but He will heal us. After two days He will revive us and on the third day, He will raise us up to live in His presence. Let us press on to know the Lord, His coming is as sure as the sunrise. He will come to us like a refreshing shower, like the spring rains He will water His people with the Holy Spirit. ‘after two days comes revival, on the third day we will live in His presence’. – Luke 13:32, 2 Peter 3:8 The Lord’s timeline: 4000 years before Christ = 4 days. Then 2000 years of church dispensation = 2 days, His faithful people will be revived and will live in the holy Land. Isaiah 62:1-5 Then after the Return of Jesus, He reigns for 1000 years = 1 day, giving a total of 7000 years of earthly time and 7 days of heavenly time from Creation until Completion.

Let all the earth listen;
Isaiah 34:1-3 Approach, you nations and listen – attend you peoples. Let the earth listen, all the world and all that is in it. For the Lords anger is against all the nations and His wrath upon all their armies. He has given them over to slaughter and destruction. Joel 2:1-11 Their slain will be flung out and their blood will cover the ground. Their dead bodies will stink. Jeremiah 25:33

Isaiah 34:4-5 All the host of heaven will fade away. The sky will roll up as a scroll.
For My sword appears in heaven and descends in judgement on Edom – on a people whom I have doomed for destruction. Jeremiah 49:7-22

Isaiah 34:6-17 The Lord has a sword covered in blood – the blood of lambs and goats.
For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in Edom. Their land will drink deep of their blood and be enriched by their fat. Obadiah 1-21

For the Lord has a Day of vengeance, a time for retribution, to uphold Zion’s cause. Zechariah 9:14-17 Edom’s rivers will be turned into pitch and it’s soil into brimstone. Smoke from it will rise forever, no one will ever again pass through it. The owl and raven will make it their home. All wild birds and beasts will have their place in that land. Jeremiah 9:7-22 Ref. From verse 4, we get the clue that this terrible Day of the Lords vengeance is also the Sixth Seal – Rev 6:12-17 .....There was a violent earthquake; the sun turned black and the moon as red as blood, stars fell to the earth, the sky vanished like a scroll being rolled up. The kings of the earth, the rich and powerful, and all men hid themselves in caves and under rocks: they called out for the earth to hide them from the One who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great Day of their vengeance has come and who can stand? Isaiah 2:12-21

Isaiah 63:1-6... the judgement on Edom and Bozrah. Edom: the ungodly nations.” A people doomed for destruction”. Bozrah: the sheepfold, must be cleansed to become the place of safety, to which the elect will be taken, during the Tribulation. A place “at the end of the earth” a place as far as possible from Israel. Revelation 12:13-16


Rev 7:1-8 After that......[the Sixth Seal disaster] Do not damage anything further until we have set the seal of God upon His servants. .......

These are the 144,000 selected from the 12 groups of the Lord’s Christian people. As the 12 Disciples and the 12 sons of Jacob.
Proved by Isaiah 66:21: where the Lord takes some of those from every race, nation and language, to be His priests. Also Revelation 5:9-10
They go out in pairs to spread the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. Isaiah 66:19, Luke 10:1-10: 72+72 X 1000 = 144,000 This proves the Lord’s people; faithful Christians, the Israelites of God; must gather into the Land soon after it is cleansed, so the Lord’s Day of vengeance must be before the Return.

Isaiah 30:26 describes the sun being 7 times stronger and these passages in Isaiah 34 and Joel 1:15-20 describe the results of that disaster, the land burnt and devastated.

The effect of ‘the sky rolled up like a scroll’ will be what would happen if a Coronal Mass Ejection was exploded from the sun, by a huge sunspot. It would cause terrible loss of life and worldwide devastation. Malachi 4:1, 2 Peter 3:7 and about 70 other verses also prophesy about this forthcoming fire judgement upon all the earth’s nations.

Zephaniah 3:8 Wait for Me, says the Lord, wait for the Day when I stand up and accuse mankind. For I shall pour out My wrath upon nations and kingdoms, in My burning anger: the whole earth will be devastated by fire.

Zephaniah 1:14-18 The great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath is near and coming fast. That Day will be a Day of distress and torment, a Day of devastation amid thick darkness. A Day of thunder and destruction against military fortifications and cities. the Lord will bring terrible distress upon the people, they won’t know which way to turn as they are punished for their sins against Me. Their blood and guts will be spilled out like filth over the ground. Neither their treasure nor their idols will be able to save them on the sudden and shocking Day of the Lord’s fiery anger. All the Land will be burned and devastated. Ezekiel 20:46-48

Zephaniah 2:1-3 Prepare yourselves, you undesirable nation, be humble before you disappear like chaff, before the burning anger of the Lord comes upon you. Seek righteousness; seek humility, all you people in the Land who obey God’s Laws and it may be that you will find shelter on the Day of the Lord’s anger.

Zephaniah 2:4-7 Gaza will be deserted, Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday all the towns of the Mediterranean coast will be cleared of inhabitants, for the Word of God is against you – land of the Philistines. I shall lay you in ruins, no one will survive. The sea coast will become a sheep grazing area belonging to the survivors of Judah, for their God will turn to them and restore their fortunes. Isaiah 14-1, Ezekiel 36:1-37

Zephaniah 2:8-10 I have noted the insults of Moab and the Ammonites, how they have reviled My people and encroached on their frontiers. For this, I swear, they will become like Sodom and Gomorrah, a place of weeds and salt pans. Those of My people who survive will inherit their land. This is retribution for their pride, because they have insulted God’s people and taken over their Land. Jeremiah 12:14

Zephaniah 3:11-13 On that Day, Jerusalem, I shall rid you of your proud and arrogant citizens, but I will leave a remnant, a humble people who will trust in Me. The survivors in Israel will be righteous, under My protection. Isaiah 31:5

Zephaniah 3:19-20 When the time comes and I have dealt with your oppressors, then I shall rescue the lost and gather the dispersed and bring you all to your homeland. You will win respect and renown from the other nations when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes, It is I, the Lord, who speaks. Ref: REB. Some verses abridged.



Wait for the Day; the whole earth burned and devastated. The only known way how this could happen, is by a massive Coronal Mass Ejection, a fire judgement mentioned and described over 100 times in Bible prophecy. It will be the event that ‘comes like a thief’, unexpected and shocking. Isaiah 30:26, Malachi 4:1

You undesirable nation – the Israelite people: now that is, every born again Christian. It may be that those who live righteously and humbly will ‘find shelter on the Day of the Lord’s anger.’ 2 Peter 2:9

Philistines and Moab and Ammon – Palestinians and Jordanians. Amos 1:6-8 & 13-14

leave a remnant in Jerusalem, under My protection – Isaiah 4:3, Zechariah 9:14-18

rescue the lost....bring you home – The great gathering of all the true Christian peoples, prophesied more than 40 times, to happen soon after this forthcoming, worldwide fire judgement. They will live in the promised Land, under God’s protection and when the Anti Christ comes to Jerusalem, they are taken to a place of safety until the Return of Jesus.

Isaiah 8:5-8 The Lord says: Because this nation [Judah] has rejected the gentle water of Shiloh, [Isaiah 5:24: the Laws and Covenant of God] then I will bring against them a flood. They will sweep through Judah and conquer the whole Land. This was fulfilled by the Babylonian and the Roman captivities. Isaiah 5:13, 2 Kings 17:18-20. But Ezekiel 21:14 says there will be: 3 swings of the Sword against Judah.

Isaiah 8:9-10 Take note, you nations, you too will be shattered. Listen you distant peoples of the earth, prepare yourselves , devise your plans, but they will not be carried out, for the Lord is with us. Micah 4:11-12

Isaiah 8:11-15 The Lord told me not to follow the ways of this people, not to agree to any alliance or treaty that they agree to or to fear what they fear. Isaiah 28:14-15 The Lord is the One that you must regard with fear and awe, He is the One you must hold sacred.

But for the House of Israel and the House of Judah, He will be as a stone that causes people to trip and for the people of Jerusalem, He will be as a trap, that makes many fall and suffer. Zechariah 12:3

Isaiah 8:16 Bind up the message, seal the instruction, so that it cannot be consulted by My disciples. 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Isaiah 29:11


Isaiah 8:17-18 I shall wait eagerly for the Lord, who is hiding His face from Israel, I shall put my trust in Him. Here we are: all children of our Lord – we are the signs and symbols of Israel, sent by the Lord, who dwells on Mt Zion.

Isaiah 8:19-22 Others will suggest that you consult mediums and spiritualists, who whisper and mutter, but why ask the dead for instruction, when what they say brings no light? So despondency and fear will come over those people, in their futile search for the truth, they will rebel against their rulers and their gods. Wherever they look, all is gloom and darkness and there will be no escape for them. Hosea 4:12, Jeremiah 29:8-9, Isaiah 66:17

Isaiah 33:13-16 You dwellers afar off, hear what I have done, acknowledge My might, you that are near at hand. The godless sinners in Zion will quake with terror, with trembling they ask: Can any of us live with a devouring fire, in perpetual flames?

The people who behave uprightly and speak the truth, who scorn to enrich themselves by extortion or bribery. Those who keep their ears and eyes from evil, it is these people who will dwell in safety, with their food assured and water never failing them.

Listen you distant peoples, the plans and preparations of the ungodly peoples, to occupy all of the Holy Land and wipe Israel off the map, will not prevail. Psalms 83:1-18


you dwellers afar off: Our situation now; Christians scattered around the world. 1 Peter 1:1


Here we are: all children of the Lord; Romans 9:24-26. Faithful Christian believers are now the Israelites of God, individuals from every tribe, race, nation and language are the Lords holy people. Galatians 3:26-29, Romans 9:6-8, Revelation 5:9-1

it is these people who will dwell in safety and prosperity: Soon after the Lord’s Day of fiery wrath, that will clear and cleanse all the holy Land, the call will go out to all the people who stood firm in their faith, Zechariah 10:8-12, to gather and live there, Hosea 2:14-23, Jeremiah 31:8-9, as God always intended His Israelite, now: the Christian peoples to be His witnesses and a light to the nations. Isaiah 43:10. Isaiah 49:8



Bind up the message, seal the instruction, so it cannot be consulted by My disciples. Deuteronomy 29:4, Isaiah 29:9-12

It is no wonder that the Christian church cannot sort out or properly understand prophecy. The Lord actually does not want most people to know His plans, however the prophetic Word has been given to us Christians for a reason and for those who genuinely apply themselves, putting aside all preconceived notions and false teaching; then it is possible to discern our future. Daniel 12:4-10, Hosea 12:10, 2 Peter 1:19

Who will listen to me? Jeremiah 6:10

In my writings of the Prophetic scriptures about the end times, I find that many simply cannot see or understand the plainly revealed Word as given to us in the Bible. The Bible does tell us that the Lord can and does place a veil over those who He does not wish to understand His plans. This was done to the Jewish people in Jesus’ day and still remains upon them now.

Matthew 13:13-15 I speak in parables, for these people look without seeing, hear without listening or understanding. The prophecy of Isaiah 6:9-10, is being fulfilled in them. Their minds have become dull, they have shut their eyes and stopped their ears. Otherwise they might see, hear and understand and then they might turn to Me and I would heal them.

Jesus came in person to them, performing miracles and teaching eternal truths, but they failed to recognize who He was and rejected Him. They lost their chance for themselves and their descendants when they called out ‘His blood be upon us and our children’. Now, nearly 2000 years later, the Jews still actually put their hands to their ears whenever the Name of Jesus is mentioned. Christians are the only religion not permitted to emigrate to the State of Israel.

But we Christians are told in:

2 Timothy 4:4 In the last days, people will stop their ears to the truth and turn to fables

2 Timothy 3:2…always wanting to be taught, but incapable of attaining to a knowledge of the truth.

So now, in the latter days, we are in the same situation of failing to properly discern the truth, turning to false teachings and therefore being made incapable of correct understanding.

Isaiah 29:9-10 If you confuse yourself, you will remain confused, if you blind yourself, you will stay blinded, be drunk – but not with strong drink, for the Lord has poured on you a spirit of deep stupor. He has closed your eyes, [the prophets] and covered your heads. [the seers] Deuteronomy 29:4

Isaiah 48:1-8 Hear this now, you House of Jacob! Those who invoke the God of Israel, but not with honesty and sincerity, you call yourselves His people and lean for support on the God of Israel. I revealed what will happen long ago, I declared them to you before they happened, so you could not say: We discovered these things for ourselves. From now on, I will show you new things, hidden things, so you can’t say; I know that already. For you neither heard or knew, your ears were closed long ago.

Matthew 11:25-26 Jesus said: I thank you, Father – the Creator of the heavens and the earth, for keeping hidden these things from the learned and wise and revealing them to the uneducated. Yes, Father, for that was Your choice. 1 Corinthians 1:20

Daniel 12:9-10 The prophecies are to be kept secret until the time of the end. …none of the wicked will understand, only the wise leaders will understand.

Even today, as evidenced by the incredible variety of opinions about what we face in our future, it seems that we are incapable of any sort of consensus in the interpretation of the prophecies. Isaiah 56:10-11, Deuteronomy 32:28-29

What can we do? Each must carefully read the prophesies as given to us in the Bible, putting aside all theories, ideas or specious interpretations of people qualified as they may seem to be, and see what it is those ancient prophets are actually telling us. 2 Peter 1:19

That is my aim and object in all my writing: to set out the Prophetic Word in easily read short articles and giving other verses to explain it, along with how what is said could literally be fulfilled in the light of our modern knowledge. If what I write about conflicts with what you have been taught and believe, then please: for your own sake, check all the scriptures in order to come to an understanding of the truth.

Pray for understanding and do not be ‘in the dark’, about what will happen. 1 Thess.5:4-5, Isaiah 54:4-8, Isaiah 32:3-4

Victory comes from the Lord:
Isaiah 54:1 Sing, barren woman, who never bore a child, Shout for joy, you who have never been in labour, for the deserted wife will have more children that she who has a husband.
This verse refers to the Israelites – the 10 Northern tribes, then Judah, both divorced and exiled from God for their sins, but now ‘a vast multitude’. Isaiah 50:1, Jeremiah 3:8-9, Malachi 2:10-11, Ezekiel 36:10-11.

Isaiah 54:2-3 Enlarge your space, spread out right and left, your descendants will dispossess nations and will inhabit cities now desolate.
The Israelites, now including every faithful Christian: will go to live in all of the holy Land, they will take over neighbouring areas and will live in their abandoned houses. Zechariah 10:8-10, Micah 7:11, Ezekiel 36:24-28, Amos 9:12, Zephaniah 3:19-20.]

Isaiah 54:4-6 Fear not, you will not be put to shame or disgrace. It is time to forget the shame of your younger days and the reproach of your casting off, for your husband is your Maker, His name is Y’hovah. The Holy One of Israel is your redeemer, He acknowledges you as his possession again, once cast off and heartbroken.
His people, the Christian Israelites of God, can look forward to their redemption and restoration to their heritage. Amos 9:13-15, Jeremiah 31:31-34, Isaiah 14:1-2

Isaiah 54:7-8 I forsook you for a passing moment, but with tender affection, I shall bring you home again. In an upsurge of anger, I hid My face from you, but now, I shall give you never failing love, says the Lord; your Redeemer.

Isaiah 54:9-10 This to Me, is like when I swore to never again flood the earth, so now I swear to you – to never again be angry or rebuke you. My love will never fail and My covenant of peace will never be shaken.
Wonderful promises of blessings to His people, those who love and serve Him. Micah 7:19, Hosea 14:4-7, Ezekiel 37:26-27

Isaiah 54:11-12 Storm battered city, distressed and desolate, now I shall rebuild you with the finest materials.
Jerusalem – and all Israel- rebuilt and regenerated after the destruction caused by the Lords Day of vengeance and wrath. Joel 1:19-20, Amos 9:11, Ezekiel 36:8-12

Isaiah 54:13-17 Your children will be instructed by the Lord, they will enjoy great prosperity. They will have nothing to fear. If anyone tries to attack you, they will die [Ezekiel 38 & 39 & Joel 2:20] No weapon will prevail against you and any accuser will be refuted. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord, their victory comes from Me.

His faithful Christian people, living in peace and security, in all of the holy Land, will fulfil all the promises made to the Patriarchs. They will be ‘a Light to the nations ‘ and will send out 144,000 missionaries to spread the gospel of the coming Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 66:19, and Luke 10:1-19 is the precursor for them.
