That is still my #1 small SUV pick the Honda CR-V
Also eying the Subaru Forester, and Toyota RAV4 and even the Chevrolet Equinox.

We love the Toyota RAV4 we weighed between the RAV and CRV .
Honda beat on the price :)

Got it.. I just need to convince my wife that Honda has made inroads in the vehicle industry and are very reliable contraptions. She still thinks in the 70s and 80s. Her Dad was a Ford person and we have a Chevy truck now that had been low maintenance...oh well....seeing, touching and testing driving should convince her.

My own personal belief is that EVERY Make of vehicles turn out a factory lemon once in a while ...
.....but so far , God has helped us choose and He has given us some real gems...a mixed bag....Fords, Buick's , Hondas and Toyota's over the many driving decades since our youth. Loved 'em all in their turn. :)

Lovely photos @Frank Lee :)

How is our daughter settling into her job?

She's an overcomer for certain. Homesickness is hard on her - and us for her but she's got Jesus and the Holy Spirit and will be OK. Having to work on her Master's degree is a demanding full time job. I try to send scriptures and encouraging words daily.

Being your child you know how it is. Love is always wanting to do more!

Nice about your new car Helen.....

APAK....... yep, its taking a long time to heal, and I got a bad cold the worse to go
with that...... ugg....

Guess I have to pay attention to my son and his son, they are the only one's in the family
that did not get this cold.... ! That's 8 children and 3 adults.
Well 3 of the children are now considered adults...... one out of school and the other 2 in the last year.

@Frank Lee

What a beautiful and fun daughter you have.
And I am sure the one who has "gone ahead" is growing and maturing before the Lord.
I'm one of those who believe that we will all be "30"ish in glory!!

Well, this is some thing new to me when we moved in with my husband and into the son
with wife and 8 children.....
any way,,,,, they are out walking the roads, picking up empty pop cans.....
they do that a few times a year. A lot of walking, but I guess its worth it to them.
They come home with the plastic garbage bags about full.

Agree, my daughter saves all their families returnable jars and bottles.
Last time I went with her to return them...we had great garbage bags full..
She got $75 worth !!
Now the kids are grown and married, she only takes them in about twice a year.

@Grams

Hope you are doing well Marlene.
Is you friend still doing well. It is sad that you two old gals can't visit together.
You would probably have lots of laughs remembering things. :)
