Does (John 8:7) negate (Rom. 1:26-27)?

Stranger
Good question. I don't know. Let's do as scripture tells us to do and ask the Church: Matthew 18:17

Which church do you choose?

Does (James 2:13) negate (Rom. 1:26-27)?

Hey Stranger,

You do know that the passage you referenced has to do with how they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles (Idol worship).

For doing that
(idol worship) God gave them up to degrading passions.

Sooooo your Romans 1 reference has NOTHING to do with my James reference.

Would you care to try another verse?

Can anyone quote scripture in the gospels where Jesus condemns homosexuality?

The passage referenced has to do with those who hold the truth in unrighteousness. (Rom.1:18) Those who do are giving up by God in three stages. Homosexuality is the second stage.

So, (Rom. 1) pertains to the truth of homosexuals.

The act of homosexuality is a sin. The church is full of sinners that are not homosexuals sooooooo no church qualifies under you criteria....;)

(Rom. 1:26-27) is clear that homosexuality is a sin and a judgement due to holding the truth in unrighteousness.

The act of homosexuality is a sin. Are you without sin?

If so, grab some stones and start throwing them.

Mary

It is not a question of grabbing stones or being a sinner. It's a question of being truthful about what the Scripture is saying.

Have I said anything that Scripture is not saying?

Romans 2:1 KJV
[1] Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Tecarta BibleIf a man or woman masterbate, I would say this is homosexual in nature.

(Romans 2) still concerns those who hold the truth in unrighteousness. This is not the believers in Christ, for the believers in Christ recognize themselves sinners and so have come to Christ.

(Rom. 2) concerns those who are 'good people' but not saved people. It concerns also the Jews who think they are not guilty of the sins of (Rom. 1) because they have the law. Both sets of people reject Jesus Christ.
