Any specific diet/foods that help reduce anxiety? I read about salmon helping brain health, green tea, chamomile, and the herb turmeric. I know any healthy diet would help. I am going to just drink a cup of coffee in the morning from now on. I know this will definitely help. I don't drink much caffeine elsewhere. I also learned dark chocolate is good, but.I don't like chocolate.

hmm, not sure about drinking coffee for anxiety, you might rethink that.
I guess bad gut bacteria will induce anxiety, but so will some other things, even trace metal deficiencies? So you might do an assay and go from there, identify what you are anxious about, when do you get anxious will be a clue, ever have panic attacks, etc

Are you sure it is a diet related problem?

So-called *comfort foods* are supposed to reduce anxiety. But anxiety can be reduced and/or eliminated by FOCUSING ON SOLUTIONS not problems.

So when you get up in the morning, have a bowl of hot cereal, grab a piece of paper and a pen, make two columns, one listing problems, the other listing solutions. Then go and seize the day (Carpe Diem).

I haven't explored diet or have been interested in it. I am well aware the spiritual warfare. It.doesnt mean there are other areas I shouldn't work on to help also. Physical/mental/spiritual /and emotional all work together. God wants us to take care of ourselves. I really don't watch what I eat.

Now I consider cheerios healthy. I am sticking to that one cup of coffee.in the morning now. As much as I like caffeine, I think it does contribute to anxious times. Especially.in.the evening when I can't sleep

I could do some more God's Word intake in certain topics too.
Most of my anxiety over the years came from my work and community environment. I noticed as the environment changed, the anxiety lessened. After a radical change in environment the anxiety disappeared.

It does increase with work, but right now I am a stay at home mom. I think in some ways this is harder.

Much harder........... My wife was a stay at home mom. And before that we were houseparents in a group home. Punching a time clock is much easier.
