Understood what you meant in your post but then you lost me here: could you explain further? Christ is not divided. “Create in Himself one new man from two.” What God has joined let no man separate...yet you seem to separate the two brought together in One and that One being Christ? It is said not all are Israel but those of the promise are Israel and the times of the Gentiles being the fulfillment of the Spiritual children born of that promise. The seed which they are of which is Him. The children of the promise. It is His flesh (not to include all Israel but those of the promise) and His bone the children are born of. I’m not sure how continuing to speak of separation between what is joined in Christ??

...but before Pentecost they were not born again and indwelt in the same way. When the Lord Jesus ascended, He said the Holy Spirit would come to dwell.

I don't know about that, I believe those in the OT were just as regenerate as we are today. In fact, Christ rebuked Nicodemus for not concluding this from OT Scripture, being the teacher of Israel; John 3:10. We should not be making the same rudimentary error.

I think you're throwing the baby out with the bathwater because of "indwelt." Think beyond that.

David did pray: 'Take not thy holy Spirit from me'. An indwelt New Testament believer does not need to pray this.

No, not Christ divide, but rather the two "in Christ" as One. The two are biblical Israel and the gentiles, but spiritually they are the dead and the living in new life in Christ - this is salvation, to those who were lost (dead).

The time of the gentiles is over when the church is raptured and then the tribulation, when God turns His full attention to save Israel.

This is true regarding the Church. But after the Church has been completed, God and Christ will begin dealing directly with the Jews and Israel in order to finally establish a redeemed and restored Israel on earth. And that is why this OP is FALSE AND UNSCRIPTURAL.
