First of all the word spirit does not define a physical tangible substance. It is like air.

The words belief, faith, trust and confidence are like the word spirit. They have no physical tangible substance and are like air. Used alone they mean nothing. They must be used with a qualifier word such as IN. “Belief in, faith in, trust in, confidence in -- etc.”

In Bible scriptures walking “”in’’ the spirit is defined as walking in belief, faith, trust and confidence in God since God is a spirit..

In Bible scriptures walking “”in”” the flesh is defined as walking in belief, faith, trust and confidence in what the flesh can do without God.

To walk in the Spirit is to walk in the POWER of the Spirit as Jesus did. Attached to this are spiritual faculties so one can perceive the spiritual realm. In such a state one can focus on things above so that one can keep this world out of focus.

A walk in the Spirit is to walk in more than one dimension...which is a gift of God. It is a miraculous walk.
