I don't "object" to the Epistle of Barnabas. I don't "object" to the Didache or the Shepherd of Hermas.
I also don't "object" to the U.S. Constitution - but NONE of these are inspired Scripture.

As I pointed out in my prior post - as an individual, I don't have the Authority to declare what is inspired and what is not. Jesus gave that Authority to the Leaders of His Church at large (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:18, John 16:12-15, John 16:12-15, John 20:21-23).

As Augustine so wisely and faithfully put it:
"Indeed, I would not believe in the gospel myself if the authority of the Catholic Church did not move me to do so".

Christ out His CHURCH in charge - NOT the individual believer.
I's not Scripture just because YOU believe it to be so . . .

I'm not telling you to believe the EoB is inspired. That is totally up to you. But what is not up to you is to tell me it isn't, which you have been doing. Only the Spirit has that authority, of which I walk. Your belief in the Roman Catholic Church's authority is what is really troubling.

First of all - your views on Authority are unbiblical.

I was merely giving you the BIBLICAL view on Authority and guidance of the Holy Spirit to ALL truth - not MY opinion. As I educated you earlier - the Bible is crystal-clear that the CHURCH, and not the individual has God's Authority - that WHATEVER it ordains on earth is also ordained in Heaven (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:18, John 16:12-15, John 16:12-15, John 20:21-23).

Finally, as to your ignorant claim about my belief in the Authority of the "Roman Catholic" Church - you need to do your homework.

The term "Roma Catholic" simply refers to the Liturgical RITE - of which there are TWENTY that comprise the Catholic Church. There is also the Melkite, Maronite, Byzantine, Coptic, Ruthenian, and so on. they are ALL in full communion with each other. The official name of the Catholic Church is, "The Catholic Church" - not "Roman Catholic Church" . . .

My view on the EofB is that it was written by Paul's companion and fellow apostle, Barnabas. Just as Jude was accepted, as well as James, Barnabas has more authority as an apostle. You are becoming as one devoid of the fruit of the Spirit, so this is my farewell to you.

And, once again - the mantle of Authority to declare what is inspired Scripture does not fall upon YOU, the individual, but on the CHURCH.

As Jesus told the leaders of His Church, "Whoever listens to YOU listens to ME" (Luke 10:16).

Your not rejecting ME - you're rejecting CHRIST.
Good luck
with that . . .
