Well, sorry but you are in error. It is a future event.I see this as having already happened
Who says it's outside of His character? It is not.Why would God command me to love my enemies, if this is out side of his character?
Well, sorry but you are in error. It is a future event.
I see this as having already happened
So you don’t believe He rose from the dead?LOL--read the entire Book of Revelation and you will know that it can't possibly have "already happened". No amount of spiritualization of the text will suffice.
So you don’t believe He rose from the dead?
Unless you understand the reason for the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation, you will not understand the reason for a Pre-tribulation Rapture.
And unless you understand and accept the fact the the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy is yet to be fulfilled, you will not see how all of this is related to the Pre-trib Rapture, and the seven trumpet judgments.
So let's see first if you know what the Tribulation is all about, and then we can go from there.
So the truth is, the idea of a 'rapture to heaven', is a straight out Satanic lie; one of his most successful ones, that will cause many unprepared Christians to fall on the Day of trial. 1 Peter 4:12, 1 Corinthians 3:13-15
Ephesians 6:13 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to with stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
What evil day? It's the day satan !!
He is telling us a lot more, and it all relates to the Rapture. The key to properly understanding this passage is right here: I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.Jesus is telling us that He doesn't want us to worry.
@n2thelight interesting responses. What do you make of 1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Now, I think we can agree that we aren't just going to be hanging out in the clouds for years. It says that when we are caught up we will be with the Lord. This is before the Millennial Reign.

This ties in directly with 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18:For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God...and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Hmm. I'm not sure if theres an scatological reference in that verse tbh.
The evil day is today and basically every day we live wake and breath in this fallen and corrupted world. Hence why we put the armour on daily.
You believe that at some point you might be "taken by force" by your "Lord" to (fill in the blank) because (fill in the blank), Willie?
Paul was speaking to biblical Jews at the time. Those circumcised before Calvary. When that generation died off, nothing remained to make anyone a physical biblical Jew. They had only the name and customs. In fact, they were the surviving pharisees. What Jews accepting Christ?? didn't you say Jews and Israel aren't real that the Church is Israel and the Christians the real Jews?
