Can someone tell me where in the Bible it tells of how Satan can use the Bible to make his own points? Also where it tells how it takes a believer to understand the Bible?

Mat 4:6 tempting Jesus he quotes (or misquotes) Ps 91As to needing someone else (a believer) to explain scripture - the best example is Phillip with the Ethiopian in Acts 8
Agree waquinas Satan is a scripture expert dont let him fool you if you dont know your scripture he can fool one easily he is a master at quoting (misquoting)and twisting the Word. He is coming to pretend he is Christ (Antichrist) doesnt it make sense he would have to know the scriptures to twist them ?

Genesis 3Satan is definitely a Scripture lawyer. I think the thing to take away from this all is how easily he adds a word to change the entire meaning of a sentence.

David323;55039, The only place recorded in the Holy Bible where Satan actually used scripture to prove a point is at the time right after Jesus was anointed by Holy Spirit, right after his baptism. Right after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was led into the wilderness, by the sppirit, and there he was tempted by Satan, Matt 4:1-11 and Luke 4:1-13. Mark also mentions about Jesus being led into the wilderness, but he doesn't mention about the account of Satan using scripture to prove a point. Consider Matt 4:6, Luke 4:10,11, where Satan quoted from Psalm 91:11,12. As Jesus showed, even then Satan was twisting the scripture in a way not meant, so Jesus said to Satan; You must not put your God to the test, Matt 4:7, Luke 4:12.
