I just came accross some information that might require me to give up eating Big Macks. It hurts so bad. I have to pick another favorite type of hamburger. Why MacDonalds, Why? MacDonald's has decided to promote, defend, and endorse the homosexual lifestyle. This is against my spiritual convictions. Should I be so extreme that I personally boycott McDonald's by not eating their food. I am perplexed by thinking I have to act in some fashion regarding there stance. I am forced to respond some how. I might have to divorce the Big Mack and the best fries in the market. I will have to do some praying and meditating. What do you guys think about my delimma?

Ah, a good question I think... something to think about. On the one hand, you have two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, all on a seseme seed bun. On the other hand, eating one of these delicious treats will, in fact, actually be contributing to a company that has "come out of the closet" on its moral (and spiritual) beliefs. I would say, honestly, that if it is a sin to you, to eat... then if you eat, you sin. If it is not a sin to you, to eat... then it is not a sin. I don't really think that you personally eating or not eating several Big Macs a year is going to impact McDonald's much.I think this one you just need to weigh it out before God, and see if He wants you to stop eating Big Macs. I know, a lame answer perhaps... but it's the best I think (not to toot my own horn). If you do take a stance and decide that the Lord wants this to be a sacrifice you make for Him, it would be best to keep it as your own personal sacrifice, and don't feel obligated to force it on others. I don't think it is is a sin, personally, unless it is a sin to you. Whatever you do, commit to it. There is a proverb about making a commitment, and afterwards turning back on it. Maybe you can commit to cutting your Big Mac consumption in half? Maybe do it only as an even more seldom treat? This isn't it, but here is another Proverb that came to me.Proverbs 3:6: In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

I do not know if I could post any links. Here are some. I am currently researching this myself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4baa...eature=relatedhttp://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=70903http://www.nglcc.org/corporate/partners
Thanks for the links, I will take a look. I must confess... I had a couple Big Macs today (buy one get one free coupon). I hadn't had one in YEARS, but your post made me hungry.

Though, I'll have to make a decision on this one as well.

Well... here is the facts. These companies who sponser LGBT (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT) do so because they think that they are in the moral right, or they are going to able to make money by affiliating themselves with it. So, Maybe McDonald's and Burger King (and a list of others from http://www.nglcc.org/corporate/partners) do need a boycott of some kind. I don't know what is best. Obviously, not everyone who is employed by these companies agrees with it... but someone at the top of the food chain (no pun intended) has decided it's a good idea. It's hard to say... I don't know what we should do. Should we not eat at these places, or do business with these places? Or, should we not "throw the baby out with the bathwater"?Part of me wants to boycott the various sponsers linked here, http://www.nglcc.org/corporate/partners, but another part says, "What's the point? The world is only getting worse, and I don't know if boycotting a business is the answer." It's a good question... but if we are going to boycott every one and everything that supports homosexuality rights... the list is going to get very very long. And, the world is only going to get worse. One of the groups on the list is "Cisco". How is anyone going to use the Internet since Cisco pretty much controls the market on what is used over major broadband network routers? Any cable company is built on a network, which in some way, relies on Cisco Networking devices to work.Another one is Wacovia... the 401K for my work is through them, and I don't have a choice on that. I elect for 401K through my work, and they go through Wacovia. What about Aetna, one of the founding sponsers, also a benefit through my work that is gone through for my flexible spending healthcare benefit. I have no choice on the business, but if I am going to take advantage of the benefit, there is no way around who it goes through. Then there is FannieMae and Freddie Mac... realtor companies who, by proxy or directly, leave most home buyers effected in most markets. And the list goes on and on. The way I see it, is there is really no way to avoid it. We have to be in the world, but not of the world.Whether we are aware of it, or whether we are ignorant of it... the world is supporting homosexuality... so perhaps ignorance is bliss, because it is going on behind the scenes whether we REALIZE IT or not. Besides politely, adamently, and sincerely making a personal stand against it... I don't know if there is much else we can do. The Anti-Christ is at work in all aspects of the world, and homosexual support groups and those who support them is just one of them. It is sad, but it is the way it is.Albeit, if the Lord tells you to boycott a specific business, by all means... do whatever the Lord says. I don't know that is really going to be possible to do though. Personally though... after thinking this over... I do not plan to boycott anyone (as of yet).

Truth is, anywhere you get worldly food (literally or spiritually) you'll be up against this. I feel sorry for those that work for them.Even in big corporate America which I was part of until about 4 years ago had all sorts of sensitivity training on this kind of stuff.I'm not so sure that all these businesses actually agree with this as much as a vociferous and autocratic few mandate this legally and they are cornered to comply as with any Hitler type mindset.Where I presently work I thought that one or our printed status sheets that I had hanging in my room looked dull being certain shades of gray. So I updated the checksheet to have the colors of the spectrum like a rainbow in the headers. The guys all teased me about that being a gay symbol--- the rainbow. I did not know that. So I said, well then I'm taking it back and making it NOT a homosexual symbol (I think I'll take the word back, too). Heck I might even waddle down the street one day with a rainbow shirt on arm and arm with my wife. If I get strange looks from them, I'll asked "What the duck are you looking at?"

If you think about it... a rainbow is an odd color skeem for homosexual groups to pickup as their own. Defiant, is it not? The word "gay" used to mean happy... and a rainbow which came after God's judgement, is their color skeem. That's what sin does... it takes what is good, and perverts it.

Yes, I hear ya. And how ironic, or, I should say, applicable (as in they will be judged)!

I know it is crazy than most think out there in the world. What is wrong is becoming right, and saints are beginning to feel powerless to do anything about it.
