My mind had definitely been changed. Prior to coming here(my first ever forum) I thought I knew a good bit about scripture. I’ve learned that what little I know would fit comfortably on the head of a pin.
An expert is someone who knows more and more about less and less, until he knows everything about nothing.

But our prayerful Scripture knowledge should be in the spirit of growing 'in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ' (2 Peter 3.18).

I am very happy....Thank you.

Do you think you are right when you post your beliefs on this forum?

Curious Mary

Maybe @Taken or @bygrace could answer the same question since they 'liked' your condescending post.

Were you Water Baptized?
If so at what Age?

Were you Baptized with the Spirit of God?
If so at what Age?

YES!!

To answer the OP and subject matter all you need to say is. :-

< "Nothing that anyone has said on this Site has ever caused me to change my mind on water baptism. " >

THAT would be an answer to the opening post. Changing your mind, is the subject. Not you trying to change others mind on what they believe on water baptism.

But no, true to form, you just keep on and on as you always do..post after post , arguing YOUR POINT on water baptism.

Amazing how Aspen just this moment posted and was well able to keep to the subject.

I asked you pages back to DROP IT, but you just keep on, like a dripping tap.

Just drop it now, as I said, or start it somewhere else.
Thank you BG.

I did answer the OP in post #68 sooo check that one off the list. ;)

You allege that I have been trying to change others mind on baptism. The FACT is I was asked by @Willie T if I had anything specific in mind when it came to knowing what is "partially right and partially wrong" when it comes to the passages that effect my salvation.

He asked me for an example. I gave him one: Baptism

I did not attempt to argue my point about water baptism. I was asking his opinion on it.

It was after that when other members began to challenge me and my beliefs on baptism. I did not initially challenge anyone's beliefs about baptism. I only responded to others.

Sooooooo can you show me where you have chastised those members for challenging me about my beliefs on baptism and starting this whole thing? Shouldn't they just "drop it" also? Or do you just want Marymog to drop it???

Also, in Post #101 you even chimed in on the “baptism” debate. Why?

Two members were discussing between themselves baptism and their disagreement with each other on it. Can you show me your posts where you told them to drop it and take it somewhere else?

Other members have given their opinion on Mormonism being a cult, Calvinism and Amillennialism being deceptions, only 3 possibilities exist in salvation, literalism in Bible reading, Abortion, and their opinion on Proverbs. Where did you tell them to drop it and take it somewhere else? After all are they not off topic also?

You fellas are getting so effusive with your compliments is a wonder you can't detect the blushing from across the ocean.
And my wife was shocked when I reminded her that I'm just 3 years away from 70. So yeah, I think I can be classified as being a part of that older and hopefully wiser generation.

Just remember . . . its "hopefully" wiser!

Hey there Taken.
I am trying to get @Marymog OFF Water baptism..HERE.
She already has her soapbox going over in the thread " Should I be re-baptised"..
thread , By Alocote.

I notice she never starts her own threads to argue in, but always yarps on and on is other threads.

I hope you don't answer her any more here , on BAPTISM... :D

I think she just wants you to stop derailing her thread.

Haven't you said what there is to say?

Thank you marks. I have said what there is to say.

Other members on here have been "derailing her thread" and have given their opinion on Mormonism being a cult, Calvinism and Amillennialism being deceptions, only 3 possibilities exist in salvation, literalism in Bible reading, Abortion, and their opinion on Proverbs. Should they stop derailing also? If so, please be fair and call them out also. ;)

Hi Mary,

I'm not really feeling like counting posts and words, but it does seem to me that there isn't really the balance of posts that this would indicate. To be fair, I think you've been on about water baptism quite a lot.

Perhaps I'm wrong, Just seems to me.

You know what is written . . . getting in the middle of someone else's dispute is like grabbing the ears of a dog. I should know better!

Much love!

You just can't stop yourself can you.

"Everyone" else can just say what they have to say...nicely, and then MOVE ON in the thread....but not you....you have an argumentative vibe all the time..always 'against' whoever you are posting to. And you stick to just your one subject over and over.
As you know, I very much liked what @Pearl said about trying to post to you...
..<" It is like trying to knit with spaghetti " >

You play all coy as if butter would melt in your mouth...but as most everyone who has tried posted to you over the years find you just the same and gives up...how can we all be so wrong.

Personally I believe that you know perfectly well what you are doing..you are not at all the coy little Mary...but have learned your trade well, of how to frustrate and wear down the saints very well.

I like BOL, I always have, and he knows it...he is always up front and says what he has to say.

Got it.....You don't think I should respond to other peoples post and defend myself. Let them say what they have to say and ignore them? Marymog doesn't get to say what she has to say. Hmmmmm......

Riddle me this: If "everyone" is just saying what they have to say nicely why does everyone keep calling me names? Saying I follow an un-biblical church and other un-Christian like comments. Is that nice Helen?

I am always up front and say what I have to say soooooo why do you dislike me?

See, now that was a joke - I’ve never seen you laugh at yourself Marymog - perhaps marymog should laugh more and scold less :)

I laugh on a regular basis. Thank you...

Scripture is serious. I will "scold" when Scripture is twisted. As you should also.

To each their own
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth.

If rightly explaining the word of truth is scolding......
call me a scolder.

According to Scripture....we should all be scolders.....

Ha

Hey Laughing Mary,

I like your posts - I agree with most of them. I do not always like your delivery. Honestly, I think you might be caught up in the drama here - you have not always been like this - in fact, I think BreadofLife has rubbed off on you.

Just my opinion based on observation. Also, I have been caught up here, as well

Thank you Aspen.

I am caught up in the drama here. Not by choice. :(

I don't like the petty sniping and name calling. I don't call others on here names. Not sure why they are doing it to me. Doesn't seem very Christian like.

Gotta go....Have a great evening.

Respectfully, Mary
