....to keep you under the bondage of sin. The false gospel of grace is one that has been cleverly devised for these last days which is almost impossible to differentiate from the true gospel. This is because the false gospel of grace uses exactly the same vocabulary that the true gospel uses with some serious spin doctoring.

Satan has basically invented a false gospel of grace that is every sinner's dream come true. Of course we are all sinners, but evil comes and using this false gospel of grace, tells Christians they are free to sin and delve into iniquity to the point there are now two classes of sinners these days which are 180 degrees apart when it comes to being under the dominion of sin in Satans lair. One class of sinners likes it that way, and the others want out from sin and its dominion.

The devil has designed this false gospel of grace for the first group. The false gospel tells sinners that they are in good and regular standing in their sin, which is what some have always wanted to hear, that Jesus saves us while we keep on sinning and continue happily in its bondage.

The true gospel is the news for every sinner who is fed up with sin and its bondage, and longing to be set free from its penalty and power and that gospel is sin shall not have dominion over us. When we accept Christ we do it with the understanding of what sin has done to us, its true price and the comprehension of its ultimate result of eternal death. We dont want its corruption to ourselves and its destructive influence over us, so we come to Christ who cleanses us from its wages and its dominion. That is the true gospel, to be alive in Christ not dead in sin, to be set free by Him from sins wages and so that sin is no longer our master, destroying and corrupting us with its evil.....

Scripture is clear on what the true gospel is, not a license to sin but a way to become free from sin and iniquity..

Romans 6:1-14

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

While I completely agree that there are those out there teaching and believing that one can be born again, but go on in a life of sin (which is clearly false), I would caution you calling it "the false gospel of grace". Grace is not false. And the gospel is one of grace. That we can then presume upon God's grace to continue to live in sin, is in error, but grace itself? Wonderful, perfect, necessary! Not false.

It's all in the details...the little words. The gospel is BY grace not the subject itself of the gospel. So there is no gospel OF grace. The gospel is always of the kingdom of God...a place.

It's like when you go to work BY car. Is your work the car itself? No. It is the means by which you go TO work.

The false gospel of grace is that by just having a car....that means you are at your place of work without going anywhere. Like a senile person who gets into a car and doesn't know where to go. The thinking goes...I'm in the car so I must be already at my place of work. There is a disconnect with reality and logic going on.

Just as there are those who interpret the grace of God as a license to sin, so there are also those who make grace a law. In other words, they make grace nothing but legalism.

Grace does not give one the license to sin. But then again, who of us needs a license? Did Paul teach and preach true grace? Of course he did, and I doubt any would disagree. After all, it is his gospel. (Gal. 1:11-12)

When Paul preached the true grace, though he didn't teach licentiousness, he taught grace to the degree that it was perceived that he was saying that. (Rom. 3:8) "And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just."

So, when I listen to a preacher or read a book by a Christian author, I try and envision this. Could I ever be able to accuse this man of teaching a licentious grace? Usually, the answer is no. But that is exactly what they accused Paul of. My point is this. If you haven't ever been accused of teaching grace to the degree that others accuse you of teaching a license to sin, then you haven't yet taught Paul's grace.

The true gospel of grace is like the example of the sickness that Jesus with great compassion healed, but also gave something even greater. Jesus went from village to village healing the people but also teaching them about the kingdom of heaven. So as Jesus traveled He not only ministered to their physical needs but He taught the people the truth about God. Sickness and disease were banished as He went, and light given as Jesus reached out and touched those many suffering and dying as well as spiritual help. The story I like to use is the man at the pool that Jesus healed and made whole, yet said what exemplifies true grace, "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee."

John 5:13-15
13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

If a person thinks they are condemned by their sins of the flesh then they are under the bondage of sin. They refuse to see that Jesus has already paid the price for their sins of the flesh and they are living in un-belief (without faith in God's work on the cross).

It is obvious to me that Romans 6:1-14 is not saying what you want it to say. If the children of God are DEAD TO SIN then how can sin have any dominion over them. They have been set free from the condemnation of their sins of the flesh, verse 6 and 7. Waking in newness of life is walking in faith verses 9-12. Finally in verse 14 we see that sin has no dominion over the children of God because they are not under the law, but under grace.

If the children of God are not under the law then how can the law condemn them???? The law condemns those that think they have to earn salvation by what They do. This is what the religious think. They think that they have to save themselves by what they do. They refuse to believe they are saved by what Jesus has already done on the cross.

It's like when you go to work BY car. Is your work the car itself? No. It is the means by which you go TO work.

The thinking goes...I'm in the car so I must be already at my place of work. There is a disconnect with reality and logic going on.
Eh...I think at this point you're playing with words rather than just trying to nail out what a thing actually means. 'By' or 'of'....

by: identifying the agent performing an action., indicating the means of achieving something
of: belonging to, relating to, or connected with

Yes, Grace is "by" God. But it is also "of" God. Therefore, the gospel we teach, the gospel he extends to sinful man, is one 'of' grace.

I honestly don't think, however, that trying to drill in on tiny particulars like that is going to win the achievement the OP is hoping to. There is absolutely no doubt that grace is involved in our salvation. The important thing is for people to realise that while grace is a free gift, it does not allow those who take such a gift to 'continue wallowing in the mud', so to speak. The nature of grace is such that our eyes are opened to the mud we are in, and we then, naturally, want nothing more to do with mud, and strive for heavenly palaces instead. Or at least, we should. And if we don't, there is something hinky about our understanding of the gospel.

15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

Hmmm. I'm not quite sure I get your point here.
The relationship between grace and a sinner is complicated. It is offered freely by God, on zero basis of our own:

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. -Ephesians 2:8–9

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 6:23

But once accepted, we surely cannot 'go on sinning', can we? What about passages like this?

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? -Romans 6:1–2

Except...are Christian's expected to then be perfect? Is that how we see life playing out? Is that what we see scripture saying? No. Actually, not. Only Christ is perfectly sin free in this Age. Until the next one, we too will fight sin. But that's the key...'fight sin'. The above verse says we are not to "live IN" our sin. This means that as Christians we are not to see the sins in our lives as acceptable or 'tame pets' that we can live with. No...we are to fight against them and kill them out of our lives, weed them one by one.
But no doubt they are there:

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. -1 John 1:8–10

So basically....not being sure what you were really saying about 'grace' and the nature of sinning after receiving grace, this sort of very quickly sums it up: grace is a free gift that we cannot work to get or keep. While Christians are not sin free, we are nevertheless not to accept or make a place for ongoing or habitual sin in our lives.

How about quoting some specific statements from anyone who is promoting this kind of gospel nonsense?
Free Grace Theology teaches this, and, i.e. Dallas Theological Seminary. Lewis Sperry Chafer, Zane Hodges, Grace Evangelical Society, Charles Stanley and many other "big names" teach it. You also espouse some of their false doctrines yourself. It's not surprising you don't know where it came from so you should probably look into where you got your vote yourself into heaven teaching that denies the Gospel of Grace and turns the Gospel into one of merit.

Big surprise, Calvin reject it.

I will have to get down in the weeds to examine all the details of it. But the basics of faith, believe, repentance, grace and freewill are exactly how one is saved.

What is free grace? What is Free Grace Theology?

I may agree with many of their positions such as Dispensationalism, but I definitely do not follow any man-made doctrines (as do the Calvinists).

The Gospel of Grace is certainly NOT a license to sin according to Scripture. Quite the opposite:

TITUS 2
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

It's not surprising you don't know where it came from so you should probably look into where you got your vote yourself into heaven teaching that denies the Gospel of Grace and turns the Gospel into one of merit.
You also "voted yourself" into Heaven (although you are loathe to admit it). The Bible is crystal clear that every sinner must (1) repent and (2) believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be saved. There is no merit in this, since believing on the Lord Jesus Christ EXCLUSIVELY means (1) that He is indeed God manifest in the flesh, who died for our sins, and rose again for our justification, and (2) there is no other name given under Heaven whereby we must be saved. So it is not by works of righteousness which we have done, but by believing on Christ and His finished work of redemption.

So if you did not fulfil the above criteria then you are not saved. But if you did indeed repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, then you too "voted yourself" into Heaven.

So if you did not fulfil the above criteria then you are not saved. But if you did indeed repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, then you too "voted yourself" into Heaven.

I agree it's not a license to sin. But I also recognize we all sin.

That is a completely different issue and is addressed in the first epistle of John. But repentance means turning away from sins and idols and turning to God and Christ is full surrender. And the Bible says that sin SHALL NOT have dominion over you.

Outside of Christ, yes, we all sin. In Christ we don't sin...because IN Him is NO sin.

1 John 3:45 “And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.”

Did you know this?

No one reaches out to God for salvation until they realize they can not save themselves.. They know they are sinful in the flesh and turn go God for His help.

It is the religious that have said some teach that the children of God can go out and sin all they want to. It certainly isn't the children of God saying it. this saying is wrong because it is the children of God who understanding that they are sinful and do not want to be that way. Why would a child of God want to sin??? All that I know of want to be out of their sinful bodies and be with the Lord. They are looking for their Father in Heaven to give them a new body that does not sin.

I agree. It is a change of heart and mind, not a prayer or a confession to a preacher or anyone else.

Then we do get into the arena of sanctification, fellowship and so on, but as born-again believers.

Talk about misquoting the verse.

Christ payed for the sins we committed and will commit. Therefore there is no sin in him.

But as Paul states in Romans and elsewhere, while in the flesh, we will continue to sin. Sin that is already paid for.

You do not read the Bible as a whole. You shopping cart it.

Jesus had a body like ours and was subject to the same temptations as we are. Yet He was without sin. And the free gift of grace is to walk in HIS power and LIFE that is without sin....without any effort...simply by faith. By grace through faith. This is what the bible testifies of. Not a hopeless situation of continual sin in the body.

In Christ we are dead to sin. A person who is born of the Spirit has spiritual faculties that allow him/her to walk as Jesus walked in HIS realm while we are yet in these mortal bodies. In Zion. There is NO sin there.

We have THIS treasure in earthen vessels (bodies). We are vessels. If we are in holiness then we are without any spot or wrinkle of sin. The New Covenant is according to holiness in His presence.

So you are waiting earnestly for a new covenant that is already here. You need only enter into Christ.
