Matt 27;52;53And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now who believes in him has eternal life and does not see death at all.Thankyou God in Jesus name.God bless

1Cr 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1Cr 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Cr 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. 1Cr 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1Cr 15:55 O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory? 1Cr 15:56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. 1Cr 15:57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Cr 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

univac, None of the resurrections of the first century had anything to do with the First Resurrection. How do we know?? All those who were resurrected in the First Resurrection could not be harmed by the Second Death, Rev 2:11, 20:5,6. The reason they could not be harmed by the Second Death is that all who had a part in the First Resurrection were resurrected to IMMORTALITY, 1Cor 15:53,54. Immortality means they cannot die again. When Jesus was speaking to his disciples about a general resurrection, John 5:28,29. Jesus said that some of the ones resurrected in this resurrection would be resurrected to a JUDGEMENT. This means that they were able to be harmed by the Second Death. To escape the Second Death all must attain to righteousness, and be intered into the Book of Life, Rev 20:14,15.
