Godly men of the line itself.Who do you think the "sons of God" were in Genesis who mated with women and produced giants?
It does not say they produced giants. It says giants were there at the time.
Giants are found throughout the Old Testament.

Godly men of the line itself.Who do you think the "sons of God" were in Genesis who mated with women and produced giants?
So a Christian cohabits with a hooker and a giant pops out?Godly men of the line itself.

There were no Christians until the resurrection. So a Christian cohabits with a hooker and a giant pops out?
Sons of God = ?There were no Christians until the resurrection.
It does not say that parents are of the Giants. But I doubt they were believers.
I already told you. Sons of the believing line of Seth.Sons of God = ?
So they had sex with Canaanites and giants popped out?I already told you. Sons of the believing line of Seth.
What if fallen angels decided to clone humans? Scientists do cloning experiments all the time. They are not producing life, they are manipulating it.Angels are angels when it comes to the issues of marriage and reproduction.
To say they suddenly can reproduce is to say they gave themselves the power to create life, because sperm and eggs are life.
I think they already have the ability to appear as men. Think of the holy angels in Sodom before they destroyed Sodom. They must have had the appearance of men--the text gives us every indication that they looked just like men.As well Angels are not physical. So you're saying they could create themselves physical bodies. And on top of that only male bodies.
Another problem is the KJV mistranslates Angels as sons of God.
Jesus is the son of God. Adam was son of God. Saints are sons of God. Meaning human.
Did you read the reasons why the author of the article rejected the first option? I thought his reasoning was sound--as it was through the rest of the article. In your link your Number one is correct.
No, I am saying that what people THINK are "aliens" are, in reality, demonic manifestations. I have read a number of accounts and it certainly sounds like a confrontation with evil spirits of some sort. The convincing bit of evidence for me, is that some who have been "abducted" (and there are way too many to dismiss them as being the ravings of lunatics) were Christians. When some of the Christians rebuked the "aliens" in Jesus' name, the "aliens" disappeared.Aliens? So you're saying God created other beings on other planets?
I already told you. Sons of the believing line of Seth.

Then all of the other translations get it wrong as well--including the 1975 NIV.

Sad, but also true.Yes, 100%
But that is too simple for most people, so they make up a load of old ridiculous garbage fairy tales..
Destruction of the heavens and earth.
Well that was a lot of copy and paste.
But it does not change the fact that heavens and the earth will be reduced to atoms and then reform into a new heaven and earth.
True.Beside that, Genesis 1:1 says "HEAVENS" not "heaven" (singular) as "n2the light" has misquoted.
I wouldn't expect it to do that. How would Moses even be able to express something like cloning? The language does not allow for cloning.
True, but they obviously had the appearance of real men (not some kind of half-transparent Caspar the Ghost).Being able to appear as a man doesn't mean he has the physical body of a man.
In the Old Testament, it meant angels more often than not. Job 1:6;2:1 and 38:7 is referring to angels when the text says "sons of God". In addition, there is no indication in the Biblical text that the descendants of Seth were any more godly than any other people. The Flood of Noah undoubtedly wiped out the descendants of Seth as well as those of Cain. Just because God's holy angels do not marry or procreate doesn't mean that they are not capable of it, if they take the form of humans. Who were the sons of God and daughters of men in Genesis 6:1-4?I used the 1975 NIV. Sons of God is the correct interpretation. It does not mean Angels. It means in a relationship with God.
He had no need to express it didn't exist back. And there is no evidence God ever used it.I wouldn't expect it to do that. How would Moses even be able to express something like cloning?

Are you so very sure that God never used it? Identical twins are natural clones. In any case, God has no particular need to use cloning and I was speaking of the fallen angels possibly using some kind of genetic technology. He had no need to express it didn't exist back. And there is no evidence God ever used it.
Jesus said that, in the Resurrection, we will be like the heavenly angels--if we are to have immortal, real physical bodies, of some sort, wouldn't that indicate that angels already have them?Angels, God and demons can look like what ever they want to. But they didn't have flesh and blood, none of them except the second person of the Trinity in the incarnation.
I hardly ever use the KJV. The New American Standard says, "sons of God" and many other translations do as well. What is your objection? I said that the expression, "sons of God" in Genesis 6:2 was likely referring to angels and your post supports what I was saying rather than your assertion that "sons of God" referred only to humans. You are using the KJV. Angels is one of the big reasons should not.
Job 1:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them.
I am unaware of any place in the Bible where this assertion is made. I would agree that, if they were not going to reproduce, there would be no particular need for gender, but it definitely does not say that angels are neither male nor female. The Bible makes it clear we will be like the Angels who are neither male or female.
Why would I have an argument with that? What I am defending is that it could well have been fallen angels about which Genesis 6:2 is speaking. That in the OT, that appears to be what "sons of God" is referencing. The sons of God were those in a covenant relationship with God. Jesus is son of God, Adam is son of God and the saints are sons of God.
We are adopted sons and daughters of God. We are called co-heirs in Christ. Angels are servants, not heirs.
