He is saying they can not hear...but again I see it as him referring to the spirit, not understanding in the spirit. They had to hear him with their physical ears because they answered him.

I dont recall, but yes, they couldnt hear the truth spiritually because they were children of the devil..and they were ethnic jews..so the serpent seed isnt limited to one group of people, like the kenites or whoever, but all who are not of the election of grace, jew or gentile, are serpents seed and not redeemable..God does not Love them, nor did Jesus die for them..QUOTE
Physically they were from Abraham, but spiritully(because they did not believe Him) they were of the devil.
You express this as though they can change somehow from being the children of the devil, as if believing would change them from devils seed into the seed of the women, who are the only believers in the world..You do realize being born as the seed of the devil, thats permanent dont you ?

If it is permanent then why did God give Cain a chance to make it right? Gen. 4: 6-7..."And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doeth well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doeth not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."

where does it say that cain could reverse being a child of the devil..being accepted of God is only through being chosen in christ before the world began eph 1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
