In a crazy kind of way you have said some truths.
maybe, sorry it had to be me, i am not very good at persuasion as you can tell.
The autism makes it really hard to follow the channel-changes i guess
ha you are kidding i hope.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 Lexicon: But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.
helmet lol, sublime

fwiw this issue split the Anabaptist congregations, you could even say "confident expectation" for hope for instance and be maybe sorta right...although you could not even rightly say you have a "confident expectation" of salvation any more i guess, if you say "i am saved."

i mean isn't that kind of like saying "i am invincible" or something like that? Iow true/not true is not...can only be discovered um the hard way? Dang what am i tryna say, haven't smoked in like a week lol, um, someone who believes they are invincible/saved is by def no longer even looking for, seeking salvation or invincibility, someone could point out an invincibility potion on a counter and go "have a drink, it's free" and that one would go "nah, i don't need it?"

Yes. Jeremiah 23:5 speaks of a righteous descendant of David ruling over the future Kingdom (also, see Jeremiah 30:9 which speaks of God raising David as their King). Ezekiel 37:24 states: "My servant David will be king over them..." It is not clear whether it is Jesus who is being referenced or another of David's descendants (or possibly even a raised David himself in a literal reading). Even at the Jerusalem council, James quotes Amos 9:11-12 (see Acts 15:16-18) which speaks of the restoration of the "fallen house of David"--that He would "rebuild its ruins...so that the rest of humanity might seek the Lord..." It is clear that the rule of Christ will replace all of the previous ungodly empires of the Babylonians, the Medo-Persians, the Greeks and the Romans.

In my opinion, the entire world is still being ruled by the "Roman Empire" through the RCC. I believe that is what JFK was speaking of when he made his famous speech about "being opposed around the world" by a covert and ruthless international conspiracy. Some commenters have said, in response to that conjecture, that JFK was speaking of the Communists but if you listen to the full speech, it sounds like JFK was speaking of much more than the Communists. Both JFK and RFK saw certain individuals and groups within Washington as enemies of a sovereign U. S. Lincoln feared the machinations of the RCC which has, down through the centuries, always opposed the freedom of mankind. JFK was an excellent student of history.
It's taken decades but the usage is gotten pretty clear to me and I don't struggle with it like I used to.

It says David will rule through his ancestor Jesus. That comes from the Davidic covenant plus prophecies.

World is not ruled by Roman Catholicism. But it is most assuredly heavily influenced.

Remember, Roman Catholicism is the ancient pagan Roman in a cloak of Christianity. Under the AC it will take off that cloak.

Remember, JFK was Catholic.

JFK was talking about communism. Remember, I worked in intelligence and saw a lot more than the world and large ever saw.

I agree the Kennedy family and others like them were never friends to our country.

I am a student of history. The major players are not who most people think they were.

Major players are occult groups working around the world. They have their fingers in business, Religion and government.

it

Those enemies of a sovereign US, are the liberal minded thinkers, starting with the populace, the "demon-crats", working your way up to the free-masons, the UN, the Jesuits, and then the Illuminati, who are the Elite Bankers, that founded the UN.
The US is being used by the Illuminati as the " "Hammer" of their god Lucifer, to bring the world by force into subjection, for their form of World Peace.

Yes. Devout RC (and, like Hitler, a strong believer in the occult at the same time), Heinrich Himmler said that he so admired the Jesuits that he patterned his SS troops after the Jesuits. Himmler turned the SS headquarters, Wewelsburg Castle into a nightmare of occult rituals under occult symbolism. It has since been turned into a museum by the German government and is something of a shrine for far-right lunatics. Others who have visited say that it is a very creepy place.

The RCC, as always, plays both sides of any political divide and promotes the conflict between far-right and far-left. Divide and conquer strategy.

I agree--what I said was that the world was ruled THROUGH the RCC (the Whore of Babylon). The Vatican has national status, a huge diplomatic and intelligence apparatus, access to all the heads of governments throughout the world and works covertly to exact its long-held plans for worldwide dominion.

Remember, Roman Catholicism is the ancient pagan Roman in a cloak of Christianity. Under the AC it will take off that cloak.
Yes, but I would exchange "Roman Catholicism" for "Vatican pagan occultism". Many priests assigned to work in the Vatican have often been quite disturbed by what they saw there. A few have dared to be "whistle-blowers" and I believe they have paid with their lives. Have you ever read, The Keys of This Blood by former RC priest, Malachi Martin (whose death is something of a mystery)? His good friend, confidante, and fellow priest, Alfred Kunz was murdered in a particularly gruesome way. Martin maintained until he died, soon after, that it was an occult ritual murder.

Remember, JFK was Catholic.
So was Malachi Martin.

Major players are occult groups working around the world. They have their fingers in business, religion and government.

Yes.

No, that, it isn't a doctrine of men. But the concept that there's a gap in the statue between those phases of history is a doctrine of man...a product of those schools of futurism you seem to deride.
The mix of clay and iron... The fact that the Roman factor must endure until the second coming within that iron component... The iron continuing throughout history since its introduction with the demise of Greece...within the papacy, suggests to me that there is no need for a revival of Rome considering it had never really left us. If you need to know in what ways pagan Rome can be found in papal Rome, just ask okay?

That there is a time gap between the 69th week and the final "one week" of Dan.9:27 isn't a doctrine of men, nor is it an idea from seminarian's made-up Futurist label.

There are many brethren that understand that gap that are not on the pre-trib rapture doctrine of men. I'm one who understands this. There are several time gaps written in God's Word. Jesus showed in Luke 4 there is gap between the Isaiah 61:1-2 verses. The Zechariah 9:9-10 verses covers both advents of Christ.

So just saying there is no time gap there in Daniel by trying to assign it to a man-made seminary term is foolishness. The early Church fathers wrote enough about that gap before the seminaries ever started their doctrines of men.

It does seem that way to so many, and I used to be right along with them! It's like some always want it to be a different day. Like, 'Oh man, I HATE Mondays, I wish it were Wednesday!!!' Or, well, tomorrow is Sunday and back to the grind on Monday, groan. And we walk around with invisible ball and chains around our ankles most of the time just wishing our lives away.
Anyhow, boy I wish it was summer, sigh... hahaha! j/k! I LOVE Spring, rain and all ♥

Well said.

Satan will not be restrained until second coming.

Christ will not walk the earth again until the second coming.

Amillennialist, such as Catholics, believe the MK is spiritual and now. And that they are God's representatives on the air ruling the MK.

Then you get into cult beliefs that mix all the different beliefs together. Jehovah witnesses and Seventh-day Adventists have really strange beliefs in this arena.

As a literal Bible only believer, we collide often.

It is all complicated by the love and kisses groups that do not want to say anyone is wrong except for people like me.

Angels and Demons are active on the earth.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit are still at work, but as the Bible describes them, not like many claim.

The rapture has to be close.

Yes. You and I are on the same page.

So, this might get some varied reactions; I'm hoping that a reasonable, biblical based discussion can be held on the topic anyway.
Matthew 12:28–29,32
2 Thessalonians 2:3–12
Revelation 20:1–3, Revelation 20:7–9
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:
only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed,
whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan
with all power and signs and lying wonders,' ... '

(2 Thessalonians 2:6-9)

Hello @Naomi25,

I would like to concentrate on this verse a moment.

It is obvious that 'someone' or 'something' is restraining or keeping check the revelation of the man of sin, and there have been several explanations given for this, but there is one which has a scriptural basis for it, which the others lack. Firstly the words, 'withholdeth' in verse six and 'letteth' in verse seven, are both translated from the same verb:- Katecho, which means 'to hold firmly'.or, 'to hold fast'. It occurs 19 times in the New Testament (eg., Romans 1:18; Romans 7:6; 2 Corinthians 6:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:21; Philemon 13; Hebrews 3:6; Hebrews 3:14; Hebrews 10:23).

1) Who holds fast the man of sin?
2) Who is it that hold something fast?

* The answer to the first question is found in Revelation 9:1,2, and Revelation 11:7. The man of sin is held fast by the 'bottomless pit' or 'abyss' until the 'appointed season', or the time of his manifestation to the world.

* The answer to the second question is found in Satan, who holds fast to his possessions in the aerial regions (Ephesians 2:2) until he is taken out of the way, or removed. How this happens Revelation 12:7-17 describes. There is a war in heaven: Michael and his angels fight against Satan and the fallen angels under his control, and the Deceiver is cast down to the earth with terrible results, leading to the Great Tribulation. When this happens, as a last desperate attempt, Satan calls up his man from the abyss, and for a short time he dominates the whole world, Satan receiving, world worship through the Beast.

* Isaiah 11:4 says, 'He shall smite the earth (or the oppressor) with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked (one)'.

* It takes the glory of the Lord's Coming and His almighty power to destroy this superhuman being. It will be beyond the capacity of man to do this. Daniel 11:44-45, deals with his end, but gives no details as to how it is achieved. It takes 2 Thessalonians to reveal that.

* In relation to this 'lawless one', Paul says, 'Even he, whose coming (parousia) is according to the working of Satan, with all power, and signs and wonders of a lie (literally)'

* Satan is no creator, but he is an imitator. He travesties the truths of Christianity to ensnare and deceive the whole world at the time of the end. Christ's death, resurrection and coming again are copied by Satan acting through the Beast. See Revelation 13:3, and Revelation 17:8.

* Even the words of 2 Thessalonians 2:9 describing the advent of the lawless one are used directly of the Holy Spirit and His miraculous gifts: yes, Satan uses imitation and counterfeit in order to deceive.

* These Satanic happenings are the climax of the evil system described in the Word of God as 'the lie', originating from the Deceiver at his fall, and in direct conflict with God and the truth as personified in Christ. Those who think that miracles are necessarily a proof that a deed is of Divine origin are going to fare very badly at this period of history. Satan, to a certain extent can work miracles, but they are lying miracles with one object - to deceive. Hear the Lord's warning in Matthew 24:24.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

this is called "double-minded" wadr, and your (undefined) "we" are plainly described as "two men in a bed." One will be taken, and the other left, and then you will be single-minded, see. Pick the wolf you feed wisely imo. understand why whores and tax-collectors are beating you into the kingdom.

Incidentally, this is why you must go silent at about half of Scripture, the half that does not comport with your imagination, there is only One Immortal, no one has ever gone up to heaven, all the vv that are like holy water to a vampire. If your right eye offends you, why not pluck it out and throw it away? Aren't you tired of being offended? Of "believing" all the exact same stuff that anyone can get in any 501c3 tax shelter in one Solday? Will you not even take one step toward the goal? Lay a fleece maybe even?

But you enjoy your current place too much i guess, huh
that is about to all be um "taken" from you, brother,
pride goes before a fall, is that what you want?

why do you think i am doing this? Do i stand to gain?
God i sure hope you don't expect that i somehow expect you to verbally agree with me at some point, do you?
Keep posting lies as if they were truth, and ignoring calls to align your words with Scripture now, and see what happens ok. No one here is going to like this post nor like me any the more for it, almost surely the less, but saved as if through a fire is where you are headed bro, that's if you're lucky, and you are a decent guy imo.

Bottom line is the restrainer is the Holy Spirit.

The man of sin is the demon of the AC who is being restrained today in what he can do.

It was in Alexander the great and who knows where before then.

I believe today he is in the AC of the tribulation who is waiting to be revealed And unshackled in power.

The Bible says Satan is free to roam the earth but seems to spend most of his time in heaven before the throne of God accusing the Saints.

Hello @CoreIssue,

Thank you for responding, but though the Holy Spirit is just one explanations of 'who' or 'what' restrains the man of sin, it is not the correct one, for there is no scriptural support for it. I believe the explanation I have given in the post you have addressed (#493) is the correct one, for it is so supported.

Thank you

You cannot call prophecy as applicable to the present tense.

As I said no one but the Holy Spirit can be everywhere at the same time in this situation.

It says lawlessness is, was and will remain active in a restrained capacity until the restrainer is removed.

Remember, lawlessness is different from the man of lawlessness.

Even in the MK there will be sin while Satan is changing the pit.

Hi Charity. Your interpretation was interesting. I'd never heard it before. One question I have is, if the Restrainer were Satan then why would Satan not have moved out of the way to unleash the man of sin a long time ago? He knows his time is short, after all. Wouldn't he want to make use of that time by unleashing the man of sin to rule for as long as possible? We know he wants the maximum amount of evil on earth as quickly as possible. That's kind of what leads me to believe it is a divine power retraining that evil.

Blessings

anyway, I feel really bad for you now bl, dunno what to say.
But I would sure dissociate from that We bro.
what do you lack, anyway? if you could pick one thing, what would it be?
and better to not even say unless you are ready for that lack to abate
bc I am not praying to santa claus with you or anyone, and the lack is...um, prolly not going to abate except by some pain and suffering first, ok
the gift you would be getting would be Good, iow you are not going to like it at first prolly lol. sure better than...that tho, I think.

k, best of luck in your walk, and y'all have a nice day!
Okay. I think you misunderstand where I was coming from. The focus of my comment re the kingdom we the popular belief that Jesus is coming back to Earth in the millenn ium to establish a literal kingdom, Himself leading from Jerusalem and all Christians serving Him on earth. This is what I was getting at when I said we are in his kingdom, but it won't be here in a literal physical sense. Or maybe you did understand where I was coming from and you believe as the majority believes...a millennial kingdom of roses and tulips in this earth. Well, sure that is coming, but not yet. They're some administration issues God needs to deal with first.

This idea also has Satan restraining himself and demons.
