YOU'RE the one who either CAN'T or WON'T identify the TWO KINGS OF MEDIA and PERSIA. And as I recall, YOU ALSO DIDN'T REFUTE THE FIVE GENERALS WHO RECEIVED ALEXANDER'S EMPIRE.
Furthermore, you make untold references to people and events in Daniel 11, -- but you can't get there either Scripturally or Historically.
So where I've provided information, you've CLEARLY not ignorant. Now you're STUPID, -- by choice!

You need to respect your elders! ;)

You need to obey GOD! -- A woman is not supposed to teach or even SPEAK for good reason!
1 Tim. 2:12 I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.

So tell me, oh learned one, who are the kings of the Medes and Persians.

Well let's see, Gabriel told Daniel:
Dan. 8:20 As for the ram which you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.

However, you only cited:
Quote 1st CL: The last King of Babylon was Belshazzar, captured by Darius the Mede, under orders by Cyrus the Greek, king of Medo-Persia
* Please note that Cyrus was NOT "the Greek", but rather "the Great". -- I'm guessing that English may not be your First language.

Once again, the Medo/Persian historical record is COMPLETE, and there was NO Dual Monarchy, and NO record of a "Darius the Mede" under any Medo/Persian king. But FACTS are a mere inconvenience that can be overcome with persistence by the liars.

I love your typo. LOL (Was one in television, movies or radio?)

There was no "typo". Perhaps your disdain for Scripture and History blinds you:

Dan. 8:20 As for the ram which you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.

An early description of Media from the end of the 9th century BC to the beginning of the 7th century BC comes from the Assyrians. The southern border of Media, in that period, is named as the Elamite region of Simaški in present-day Lorestan Province. To the west and northwest, Media was bounded by the Zagros Mountains and from the east by the Dasht-e Kavir desert. This region of Media was ruled by the Assyrians and for them the region fell "along the Great Khorasan Road from just east of Harhar to Alwand, and probably beyond."[30]

... Was I suppose to refute the 4 + 1 generals equaling 5 generals? I don't get your point. I guess I'm just stupid.

The first step to mental health is self reflection. :)

You still haven't said who the two kings were, oh pompous learned one. How am I to learn in silence if you don't answer the question?

He cannot be a Muslim for the simple reason that (1) he will have free access the Jewish temple and (2) he will come as "the true Messiah" of the Jews, possibly claiming that he is a descendant of David. And "the Assyrian" could simply mean that he is a Jew from Iraq (which was also a part of the Seleucid Empire). "Iraqi Jews constitute one of the world's oldest and most historically significant Jewish communities" (Wikipedia).

It is Daniel who tells us that he is a renegade Jew in Dan 11:36-38:
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

38 But in his estate shall he honour [a god] of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

The "God of gods" is none other than the Lord God Almighty, and "the God of his fathers" is none other than the God of his Hebrew ancestors. "The fathers" is a term used for the Hebrew patriarchs several times in the Bible.

But "the god of forces (fortresses)" is none other than Satan. So this Jewish man will blaspheme the true God and worship Satan. The Hebrew for "the god of fortresses" is וְלֶאֱלֹ֙הַּ֙ מָֽעֻזִּ֔ים --
ve·le·'e·loh·ah ma·'uz·zim, and Brown-Driver-Briggs says "b. of a heathen god, אֱלוֺהַּ מָעֻזִּים Daniel 11:38. But we know from Revelation 13 that this is "the dragon" (Satan).
He takes the Temple by force. He is not a Jew.

You have no idea who you're talking to. I'm a daughter of God and you consider me swine? I am filled with the Spirit of God which is why I have been very long suffering with you and kind, even loving. If you don't know, those are fruits of the Spirit, but you have to have the Spirit in order to grow the fruit. And to have the Spirit you must first repent of all your sin and unbelievable false pride. It gives me no joy to have to tell you, you seem absolutely barren, and direly in need of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. If no fruit unto repentance, Jesus will have to tell you He never knew you. Your knowledge of Him is not enough. Even the demons believe and tremble.

BTW a prophet can speak no matter whether they are a man or a woman. You better think long and hard before you dare answer this post in the same manner that you have been, and not do what it says. It may just be your last chance. In fact, you shouldn't answer it at all, but spend some time on your knees.

I know EXACTLY who I'm speaking to. The same person who made assertions that THEY HAVE STUDIED THE BOOK OF DANIEL FROM THE AGE OF SEVEN, -- but thought the region of "Media" was associated with television, movies or radio.

Dan. 8:20 As for the ram which you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.
You don't know what you're talking about, but by god you will DEMAND that what you say is absolute truth. -- Yeah, NOT.

I am filled with the Spirit of God ...
You are as a Sadducee & Pharisee. And where THEY thought they had the mind of GOD, Jesus thought otherwise. See above.

BTW a prophet can speak no matter whether they are a man or a woman. ...
If you're a "prophet", then get it RIGHT. -- So tell me, Miss PROPHET, exactly WHO are the TWO KINGS of Media and Persia under your purported Cyrus the GREEK?!?

I asked you and you didn't know.

I see you care more for knowledge than truth. You might want to become born again of the Spirit someday. Until then we are unequally yoked, especially if you are going to swear, so you are going on ignore.

I asked you and you didn't know.

Hey YOU'RE the "PROPHETESS". So speak "in the name of god" (yeah, your small "g" god, whose actual name doesn't start with a "g").

Yeah, you're NOT what you assert, and you assert what you don't know. So that makes you a -- what's that word that begins in an "L"?!?

And, -- I've been instructed to NOT cast my pearls before the swine (disbelievers, disorderly, malcontent, slanderers, murderers, etc.). So I guess you'll NEVER find out what I DO KNOW. :)

To All,

I challenge ANYONE to find what this individual accuses me of, -- swearing.

How is it that people post their lies, AND THEY SAY THEY'RE A CHRISTIAN. It's just too bad that where the church is supposed to hold people accountable within the church, that it seldom if ever happens in a "christian" (small "c") Forum.

Perhaps I don't understand what a "christian" is. Maybe I should look in the dictionary under: Hypocrite; Liar; Slanderer; Murderer; etc.

Or so it seems,

That's what the papacy did. Took the "temple of God" by force and compelled the lively stones to either worship according to the dictates of prescribed religion or be branded a "heretic" and suffer the penalty of such.

There is a reason why the scriptures say, 'none of the wicked will understand'. God's perspective just doesn't fit into their paradigm. The Jews of Jesus day is a good example.

So, QT, do YOU have a SOLUTION?

It's funny how when you study a controversial subject, you find a "legion" of different views with each person asserting that THEIR version has FEWER FAULTS THAN THE OTHER VERSIONS. -- But in fact, they're ALL incorrect.

It guess it's like circular firing squad.

So are you simply a member of a circular firing squad, or do you actually have a SOLUTION for Revelation 13:18? -- I do!

It's the Papal system without question. The system with a man at its head that has always opposed the Gospel under the pretence of promoting it. I would add, six is mans number...six six six is an underpinned reiteration....yes, the focus of Rome is on man and his glory all the while attempting to steal it from the Lamb.
Both Daniel and Revelation walk hand in hand regarding this matter.

Ummmmmm, no.

The system with a man at its head ...

The issue isn't the "system" of how to determine a "candidate", -- but WHO the candidate is! -- And it's easily solvable.

So should I conclude that you're simply another member of the circular firing squad, or do you want another "shot" (pun intended) at it?

When Jesus asked the demon of the possessed man, 'what is your name' he answered 'legion, for we are many'.....a system of evil and yet it has a head.
Rome is a continuing system that builds upon itself, the nature of that system is evidenced by history, the head being the leader in any given age; slippery, adaptive, persuasive, powerful and intent on regaining the ascendency. We have been given sufficient information to identify it.

Regarding what you should conclude; that is your call.

To All,

If one were to contrive a "calculator" for the world in the "end times", would you use ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics? I would, -- NOT!

Or how about LATIN? Yeah, they'll understand that, -- NOT!

Hebrew? -- NO!

How about ENGLISH? -- Well, it is the world's language, taught in nearly every country, and used on every international flight by both pilots and air traffic controllers, -- it is the language of commerce. So it's certainly a candidate which the world could understand and use to solve a "riddle".

Nah, who'd be so STUPID to believe that!

From Post #128
Regarding: Daniel 8: 20 As for the ram which you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.
exactly WHO are the TWO KINGS of Media and Persia under your purported Cyrus the GREEK?!?

You know, I'm still waiting for @1stCenturyLady, or ANYONE to explain who the TWO KINGS of Media and Persia are. -- We have all these people who purport their expertise in Scriptural matters, but no one has offered even a WRONG answer. And that's smarter than the "commentators" who felt it necessary to give a LIE, albeit their BEST LIE. So maybe we're better off waiting for the TRUTH:

Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
9 He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

But we're IN the "time of the end", and if we wait much longer it will be PAST the "time of the end", and the prophecies will be of little value after that. So if we can't find someone who knows, then maybe we should find someone who we can ask:

Acts 8:27 ... And behold, an Ethiopian, a eunuch, a minister of the Can′dace, queen of the Ethiopians, in charge of all her treasure, had come to Jerusalem to worship 28 and was returning; seated in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Isaiah. 29 And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this chariot.” 30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 And he said, “How can I, unless some one guides me?”
