Go ahead, try to separate them.

Ya know, I think you are a Jehovah's Witness.
Hey, I think Bread of life was just complimenting you, that he thinks you must be very, very, very smart!
:D After all, he called you Einstein!!

Who said they were guided by the Holy Spirit at all?

Calvinism violates the Bible.

Calvinism violates the Bible.
They believed they were and they even said it but since you don't know your own Christian history, you wouldn't know that.

Since Calvinism violates the bible he clearly wasn't being guided now was he ;).....Even though he made it clear he thought he was being guided by the Spirit (we obtain nothing from the hearing of the Word alone, without the grace of the Spirit, and that the Spirit is conferred on us not that He may produce contempt of the Word, but rather to instill confidence in it in our minds and write it on our hearts.)

Sooooo let's pretend they did not believe they were being guided by the Holy Spirit. Why believe what they taught since some of it was OPPOSITE of the 1,500 year teaching of The Church?

Not when there's obvious violations of the Bible such as with Calvinism.

They were all critical Catholicism, so what does that say about your beliefs?
Finally....I see what you are saying.

We have to come to YOU to find out what are "obvious violations of the Bible". o_Oo_Oo_O

You do keep me entertained my friend.

What they believe says nothing about what I believe.....o_O

Thank you for being such a good example of the brainwashing that happens in Roman Catholicism & of the discipleship to man-made religious dogma & man-made tradition.

The Bible.
That is a cute but shallow answer.

Same question to you as I asked CoreIssue:

Calvin, Luther and Zwingili didn't use the bible to come to their view (interpretation) and YOU did and YOU are right and they are wrong????

Hmmmmm......So I am brainwashed because I believe and practice what has been taught for 2,000 years by men you disagree with but YOUR not brainwashed when you believe and practice what YOU taught yourself for the last 5? 10? 30 years? Or what the Reformers taught 500 years ago....

I am willing to bet you are also just like CoreIssue.....YOU decide what the Reformers got right and wrong.....

Fascinating....You should re-think your theory since it is not logical.

It is not a cute answer, the Bible is not cute.
Men are imperfect and fallible.
The answer to your question is The Bible.
Only the Bible is inerrant, divinely authoritative word, that was written for mankind's instruction and only The Bible is God-inspired/ & Holy scripture.

I agree. Men are imperfect and fallible.

What man did you decide was perfect enough to give you YOUR 66 books of that infallible word?
