Or a Mormon.

Show them all you want that American Indians are not Jews.

That the book of Mormon is totally erroneous.

They don't want to see it.

Or that the blood covenant in Christ is not the new covenant to the houses of Judah and Israel.

No matter how much proof you provide, they reject.

For so many people the claim to love the truth why they refused to listen to anyone.

The Bible says listen to all and then tested against the Scriptures. Keep what is good and abandons the rest.

How many actually follow that instruction?

But on the thread topic the Bible clearly teaches we come to Christ in freewill once we submit to him we are predestined all the way to glorification.

That is a promise of eternal security. A true blessing.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This most assuredly is not Arminianism.

They believe one can leave God and their salvation.

But how can they if nothing can remove them from God. After all, they are part of creation. There is no exemption clause.

Study that scripture again. (You said, including oneself. Wrong!) Those are all outside influences. What CAN separate you from God is Willful Sin. Jesus came to TAKE AWAY our sin, and in Him there is no sin. 1 John 3:5. Verse 9 says a Spirit-filled Christian cannot sin. Romans 6:2 say we are dead to sin. But Hebrews 10:26-31 And Romans 6 (below) shows us that we still have free will and can WILLFULLY SIN. That WILL separate you from a Holy God. Only those who are righteous and holy will be taken to heaven. Revelation 22:11. And those who are still filthy in their sin and unbelief will be in hell with their father, the devil.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace (the power of the Holy Spirit given as a free gift to the repentant Acts 2:38). 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

2 Peter 2:20-21 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

The above passage is pretty plain. Peter is writing about people that “had escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the lord”. They then were entangled again. Sounds like they have left the faith. So you will either say they weren’t really saved which goes against what the passage states or you will go out of the way saying how it doesn’t say what it says. Or something like they only had knowledge and needed more in order to actually be saved.

Romans eight says nothing can take us from his hand. Nothing, which includes you.

You can not read into a passage what other Scripture contradicts. (By the way, thanks for the video on our pets in heaven. I was blessed.)

That is right cannot.

You are reading the others incorrectly.

There's no way you can add the word except to a verses that says nothing can. That completely changes its meaning.

I disagree, obviously. There will be no slaves to sin in heaven.

That's right there won't.

In the new Jerusalem we will not only have a born-again spirit but a glorified body. There will be no sin.

Don't you know that born again Christians (NOW, not just in heaven) do not willfully sin? He has given us the power not to - His Spirit. That is why Paul warns us so strongly not to; it is trampling on the Son of God, and insulting the Spirit of Grace. So what do you think happens if a BAS-FC willfully sins now and continues in that sin and never repents? Do you honestly tell people that OSAS, no matter how much they willfully sin?

Not willfully sinning does not mean not sinning at all.

Paul makes it very clear that we will all sin until we lose this flesh. It is called the old nature flesh.

When reading the Bible you must be careful to identify the audience. Are they born again, are they unsaved but believe in Christ, as Satan does? Are they just church attendees that are not saved?

The seven churches of Revelation makes it very clear one can belong to a church without belonging to Christ.
