What rights do human beings have? Since God created us, we belong to Him. We, therefore, on our own do not have any right. We, however, have certain values that God instilled in us over which He gives us rights. They include: life, freedom, desire for Him and dignity. God gives us life;therefore, no one should destroy human life and human life must be protected at all stages of its existence. Protection of human life requires appropriate laws, and provision for food, shelter and health care. God gives us freedom to choose, so that we may have His peace and joy by accepting His life of unconditional love. No one should, therefore, deprive another human being of freedom. God gives us a desire to love Him and be one with Him. No one should, therefore, interfere with another person's religious life or worship. God gave us dignity by creating us in His own divine image(Genesis 1:27) ; giving us His Spirit (ability to love) (Ezekiel 36:27); and by becoming our Father (Matthew 6:9). We must, therefore, respect the dignity of every human being and treat them as our own brothers and sisters.

Well, lets put it this way, evil triumph when GOOD men does nothing. But of course there is going to be war (both physically and spiritually) and evil has to be stopped.

I agree, which makes it hard for me to understand the soft view many Christians and Churches take on abortion.

I don't even want to know their reason why they rather partake on sin, which is abortion, which labels in the category of murder... All I know is, God finds that wrong...regardless how people try to justify themselves...

Well, we finally agree on something. Knew it would happen

I might add concerning "the soft view many Christians and Churches take on." Unfortunately, many of these same Churches have pastors that don't even believe in the Virgin Birth or the Resurrection, or ----.

I agree with you here. This is not to confuse the right of a person to worship as they please with compromising truth. I may not agree with the next person, for example, but they have that right. As long as what you say isn't misconstrued to mean there are no absolutes. The issue becomes the interpretation of them. What you said is basically what is in the US constitution---- life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Man on his own accord has no self-generated rights as that would make him all by himself acting as God. However, under the authority of God, we are instilled with the rights He gave, and thanks be to Him He is gracious! And likewise, those God-given rights (as the constitution declares) should be protected. So we can all stop singing with Kenny Rogers now the song "Proud to be American" where he sang of the soldiers.....
I'm proud to be an Americanwhere at least I know I'm free,And I won't forget the men who diedwho gave that right to me
No, sorry. they never gave that right to me as many people erroneously believe the government gives rights to people. The purpose of the government and dying soldiers is to secure those rights already given by God! Big difference!

Concerning what rights do human beings have? For non-believers, they can do whatever they like to do following their own minds (1Pe4:3), for GOD has given them up to the lusts of their hearts (Rom1:24-). Since they do not honor GOD as GOD or give thanks to Him, they become futile in their thinking and their senseless minds are darkened (Rom1:21). They have their rights to choose. For believers, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus (Mt28:18). When what we say is the word of GOD spoken in the Holy Spirit, the word of GOD is Jesus, isn’t the authority also given to these? Bear in mind: believers have been called to the eternal glory of GOD in Christ (1Pe5:10-11). So, he who speaks must speak the very words of GOD, so that GOD may be glorified through Jesus Christ (1Pe4:11). Amen.
