1/3 god ? What are you talking about? If your inferring Trinity you have it all wrong . Your trying to refute what you don’t comprehend. Again you brought a spoon to a gunfight.
Please read up on scripture and someone else’s doctrine before you attempt to rebut something . You have just demonstrated that you completely unequipped . Your going off on something that you seem to have 0 knowledge of .
Blessings

What I am saying is, some of you believe that it was only the 2nd Person of the Trinity who descended to become a Man.

That God the Father somehow reproduced Himself and then sent His duplicate down to die for us on the Cross.

I contend that it was God Himself who descended to become a Man; who died on the Cross in fact.

That the duplication of the Lord took place in the incarnation of Christ: that Jesus was begotten in the incarnation.

If you had any understanding of the book of Isaiah you would know this.

You need to do that for yourself. I am not going to hand it to you on a silver platter.

Because the information is pearls; and I would prefer not to have it trampled over and then you come and rend me in pieces.

But if you search for it as for hid treasure, you will find it.

Each of you in here who mitigate Scripture, mock it which is what takes place in your mitigating it by the way, and say it is "dried up ink on paper?"

Not ONE of you experts or spiritual giants can state even one fact of Christ, his person, his truths without having heard it from Scriptural truth, or from and through one who has.

Nope. Not one fact or even one truth.

But carry on, going to sit here and watch you trivialize it over and again in your inanity and recklessness and then prophesy falsely of being spoken to "personally" and offer up more of your "divinations."

Yes, carry on.

Since you have responded to a different subject I am going to assume that you have ignored my challenge.

Shame on you for calling me a false teacher when you don't even have an answer for what I am saying.

Here is something from the bible (Jesus speaking) and is meant for they who have their wires crossed and put the bible above interaction with the living God by the Spirit.

Mat. 23:19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?

Which is greater? The Holy Spirit that writes a book...or the book He writes?

it is a false argument to say that they who are led by the Spirit don't respect the bible as God breathed. But which is greater...the breath of God...or God Himself.

That is the real issue here. But the unbelievers on this thread who only look to words on a page...are showing a profound ignorance to it's Author. The bible points us to God. It is not a book of self-sufficiency. Nor is it holy of itself. That is idolatry.

The bible is a GIFT to mankind. But it is the Spirit that sanctifies the gift by His presence.

So which is greater? The Bible or the Spirit?

One studies the Bible under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

You dismiss the Bible and try to play prophet.

Shame on me eh? I've answered you many times showing how you take Scripture out of context, even Paul's writings as Peter stated, and twist them like Peter said, 2 Peter 3:16.

But you want me to show you again things you cannot see, things you outright reject as you continue twisting God's truths? You've been warned enough.

And so it goes...

Therefore, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—that believe, for like those here, each decides his own fate.

Not that I'm aware of...would you care to reference thread name, page # and post # where you have done this?

You may have indeed addressed some of my points, but you were not addressing me because I had made it clear that I had you on Ignore at the time...therefore in addressing my points, if you did so, you were talking behind my back and I did not have opportunity to respond.

Jesus said,

Jhn 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Jhn 5:40, And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
This is you when ppl give you sound exegesis...
