The greatest mission of the HolySpirit is to reveal Christ in you. If you are going to see Christ as your life it will be the HolySpirit that reveals Christ in you to you as your only life. Since the day of Penecost there has been schism's over the ministry of the HolySpirit. What to do with the power you recieve, should you speak in a heavenly language, what is the HolySpirit doing in you.
Jesus tells us what the HolySpirit will do when he comes, in John Chapters 14-16. The HolySpirit when he is poured out on all flesh he will be a revealer, He will only testify of Christ. Now of coarse when the HolySpirit did come into the earth to be in man not just upon them it was quite a spectacular happening. Clothen tongues of fire, a rushing mighty wind, speaking in another language. Who wound not be caught up in that moment.
But the reason Jesus gives for the HolySpirit being poured out is lost in the moment. The simplicity of the HolySpirit coming to make Christ real to individuals is lost in all the fan fair. Not until Paul has his revelation do we get reminded why the HolySpirit was poured out. A revealer of the Christ in you, the revelator if you will of the things of God. "yeah the deep things of God" did you know you cannot get any deeper than Christ in you. Your understanding of the Christ in you grows in depth, but Christ in you is the deep things of God.
It was planned before the foundation of the world, it was the plan of God when all was failing in the Old Testament and things looked as if creation was not working. The plan of God has always been in the Father. When Lucifer failed God, there was still a plan. When Adam failed God there was still a plan. Every Old Testiment character that failed, God had hid in him a glorious plan. No one knew God would birth His own children, it was hid in him, no one knew he would take a part of Himself, Christ, and place it in the creature, no one knew, it was hid in God.
How would they know, how would they learn, the HolySpirit. The HolySpirit is soulish, He is in the soul of man to teach them Christ, He is action, He is the revealer of the Christ in you. In Christ you just are, it is done, it is finished, to quote Jesus. But it is the HolySpirit that takes action to make it known to all humanity that will hear.
