Sorry, there are FOUR beasts. ...

Yeah, we don't need no stink'in Chapter 2. It's not worth reading or even having in our Bibles. LET'S TEAR IT OUT!

To All,
Some people are so intellectually dishonest that they not only promulgate LIES, they apparently believe 'em themselves. But each person has to make their own choices, -- some to everlasting shame and contempt, and some to everlasting life.

... No-one here is talking about a revived Roman empire. ...
It the Classical interpretation, in which the EU is the 4b.

...
Yes, the iron and clay is a divided kingdom...a composite kingdom incorporating facets of all the four beasts of Daniel (Revel. 13:1-3) ...
No argument here. The empire of Clay has a residue of IRON as evidenced by the Roman REPUBLIC model, which most world governments follow, including the U.S.

...
which means you are incorrect in asserting that Rome is dead.
Now you're delusional. Rome is DEAD, -- Italy occupies that ancient geography, and other nations occupy that ancient expansion geography. The ONLY ROMAN aspect which still survives is the Senatus Populusque Romanus, “Senate and the Roman People” residue of Iron in the Feet of Clay.

Perhaps a visit to the Library in the History Books section might help,

There are a LOT of people who go to church, whose doctrines apparently supersede Scripture and History. You're not the first one who is intellectually dishonest and you won't be the last. The only question is, how many people will you be held accountable for with your false teachings.

This fits you to a T, so why don't you just shut up and give it a rest?

The "FALSE religious" cannot defend their FALSE doctrines, so instead they resort to personal attacks. If they were honest, they'd have to CHANGE their false religious beliefs, but their doctrines are more important than the TRUTH.

The Sadducees & Pharisees mindset assailed the Old Testament Prophets; they assailed Jesus; and they assail Christians. This mindset is not Jewish, it's a demonic spirit which transcends religion. Jews and Christians, -- in every denomination and every faith --, have these false religious individuals which seek to steal, kill, and destroy, exactly as evidenced in the Courtyard when they shouted: Crucify Him, Crucify Him!

We shouldn't be surprised in what we see, because we are in the Tribulation,

chapter 2 only identifies four kingdoms, with the fourth one being "divided". Not written in Sanskrit, it's in plain English :)

chapter 2 only identifies four kingdoms, ...

Would you care to explain exactly why the FIFTH Empire of CLAY is called a DIVIDED KINGDOM:

Dan. 2:41 And as you saw the feet and toes partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom; but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.

-- I don't know whether your doctrines drive you to intellectual dishonesty; or whether they drive you to sociopathic behavior:

  • Unreliability
  • Untruthfulness and insincerity
  • Lack of remorse and shame

I used to think it was the former, but now think it's the latter.

My point in saying "four" is to differentiate between the first four and the last one:
The first four kingdoms are UNITED kingdoms - "...thou (singular) art this head of gold." They represent the kings (and their respective kingdoms) of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome.

The last kingdom is DIVIDED - "shall not cleave ONE to ANOTHER (plurality of kings)..."
They represent the individual barbarian tribes which converted to Christianity ("clay" of the Potter) and eventually united as evolved European nations under the papal "iron".

Really? Are you saying that our current "FIFTH Divided Kingdom empire era" has THREE SUPERPOWER and a UNITED NATIONS?

Whew, and all this time I thought you were able to convince yourself that Chapter 2 had only FOUR:

@Phoneman777 said:
... chapter 2 only identifies four kingdoms ...

... but NOW you admit that after the FOUR:

@Phoneman777 said:
... The last kingdom ...

... which would appear to sum to FIVE.

I keep asking different people who make contradictory statements whether they have an alter-personality which posts when they are disposed/pre-occupied/asleep or unconscious. And it appears that this is another instance where I'm not sure exactly WHICH personality I'm speaking to.

-- Is this an undisclosed symptom of a sociopathic personality, or a multiple personality, or something new to Psychiatry??

Again, when I said "four" I meant "four kingdoms, each under it's respective king" which is altogether different from the last kingdom - though it is called a "kingdom", the further description of it reveals that it's really a plurality of individual kingdoms which will confederate as such for the purpose of oppressing God's people. I emphasized "only four kingdoms" because you refuse to make this distinction between the four and the last one. I thought that was obvious.

FOUR plus ONE = FIVE. Now I know that math may not been fully incorporated into your curriculum yet, but you could have asked someone in your kindergarten class to see of they could help. So now you may have to wait until you start First Grade in the Fall, unless you have a three year old (or older) neighbor child who can assist you in simple math concepts.

Dan. 2:45 ... the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold = 4,3,5,2,1,= FIVE

Sociopathic behavior traits:
  • Unreliability
  • Untruthfulness and insincerity
  • Lack of remorse and shame

I re-read Daniel 2.
  • There is no "fifth kingdom".
  • The "feet and toes" are the divided fourth kingdom - the empire of Pagan Rome divides and goes on to become Papal Rome.
  • No where is there any mention of any fifth anything.
No matter how much you whine, no matter how much you thrash around, no matter how much you try to prove that the list of five...iron, brass, clay, silver, gold...is there to establish five kingdoms, IT IS CLEAR TO ANY THINKING PERSON THAT THEY ARE NOT LISTED AS SUCH FOR THE PURPOSE OF "PROVING" FIVE KINGDOMS, BUT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHOWING THE COMPLETE OBLITERATION OF THE ENTIRE IMAGE is just grasping at straws. Unfortunately, those will eventually be spun, not into gold, but into papal Catechisms, at which time it is my hope you have embraced the truth of Historicism and abandoned the error of Futurism.

I re-read Daniel 2.

Actually the CIA loves people who have sociopathic traits. This gives them operatives which can twist their mind to be Untruthful and insincere, and not have ANY shame or remorse. They're trained to use people for one advantage and then throw them away, sometimes to their murder, without a slightest hint of conscience.

It served the Pharisees & Sadducees with Jesus, and it serves "christians" (small "c") with religious doctrines, -- but NEITHER are of GOD

Good Luck,

...

Let me try the MATH:

1. Gold, Babylonian
2. Silver, Medo/Persian
3. Bronze, Grecian
4. Iron, Roman
5. Clay, "Divided"

I guess my MATH works out differently than yours. But then again, GOD's agenda is different than yours.

40 And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron ...
41 And as you saw the feet and toes partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom ...

To All,

It is necessary to suffer prevaricators/sociopaths/deceivers/minions on earth. But we won't be bothered in the afterlife.

There is no "number five" kingdom - the feet and toes are the divided fourth kingdom. We are now living at the bottom of the toes and the Stone is about to come. That's what my church started preaching back in the 1860s.

We were the first organized Christian denomination to hold as its official teaching the soon, fast approaching return of Jesus, while all others were preaching that fairy tale "the church is entering 1,000 years of peace after which will be the Second Coming". The Stone is about to hit the statue...and everyone is looking to the Middle East for Antichrist when the Antichrist has been in Rome since 538 A.D.

It seems to me that it's ok if a person disagrees with History. History is often wrong. But when a person disagrees with Scripture which is supported by History, -- the individual is wrong.

And when the individual is wrong but can't/won't admit it, then it's more than the intellect -- it's a defect.

So if we correctly appreciate that we're living in the "Divided Kingdom" of Clay, as represented by the Three Superpowers and the United Nations., -- we COULD find the Seven Mountains / Seven Kings of Revelation 17:

1. Gold, Babylonia -- 1 of 5 has fallen
2. Silver, Medo/Persian -- 2 of 5 has fallen
3. Bronze, Grecian -- 3 of 5 has fallen
4. Iron, Roman -- 4 of 5 has fallen
-- Clay, "divided kingdom"
-- 5. Lion/Eagle, U.K./U.S. -- 5 of 5 has fallen from preeminence
-- 6. Bear, Russia -- "one is" when it attacks Israel
-- 7. Leopard (actually a "Tiger"), China -- "is yet to come" when it spanks Russia
-- 8. "Dreadful", United Nations -- "was and is not", and has NO Geography, NO Populous, NO Army, etc.

9. Great Stone, Jesus' Millennial Kingdom
10. New Jerusalem, eternity in Heaven

... and who would have guessed that "10" is the number of Completion.

Our world problems aren't due to the Catholic Church, -- it never has been. It's simply GOD's sequence of the world empires which lead to the One-World-Government as fulfilled by the United Nations.

I could not agree more with your understanding. The trouble is who is writing the history to agree with a person's interpretation of the said scriptures to hide himself from our view to maintain the delusion of our mind.
