1 Cor 1:19-31 - NKJV
19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;
23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,

Some say that Paul’s gospel of grace given to him by Jesus is too simple to be all that is required .

24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Glory Only in the Lord --
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,

29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.

30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God — and righteousness and sanctification and redemption —
31 that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord."

1 Cor 1:25-31 - NKJV
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

So true! Knowing our sufficiency is in Christ, gives every reason to only Glory in the Lord!

Blessings in Christ, Not me

Many do not know about these scriptures and therefore do not say much about them. It is a fact that God can call sinners in the flesh, righteous because He has paid for their sins of the flesh. It is a fact that those who seem righteous are not righteous in God's eyes because of their pride.

It is not the religious that God has chosen, it is the those who are weak because it is those that will love Him back. It is a true statement that those who have been forgiven much will love much in return.

I believe that Romans 4:5 is somewhat offset by Malachi 2:17.

You wish to see justice. I thank God always for His love shown on the cross where He paid for the sins of all the world. Was it justice or was it love? Remember that the scriptures say love fulfills the law. God's love for mankind fulfilled the law for all of mankind but if a person does not believe it then they are rejecting God's payment on the cross. The sin that condemns in this age of God's grace is unbelief in what Jesus did for mankind..

There simply is no other place for the dead but the lake of fire. They cannot enter the kingdom, having never been truly alive, that is, born again.

That's the foolishness of refusing the Gospel. Sins from humanity are gone. Jesus took them away. But sins not being imputed isn't enough, we must be reborn.

Those who are not, that is the only other place.

Much love!

John 3:6-8
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
NKJV

But people turn the words of Jesus upside down by stating that now they are born again they know very well where they are destined to go.

Where is the honesty in todays' church? It can't be found.
