Nothing there indicates them occurring in the distant future, only future, meaning after He said it...which He said would be "quickly."

You mean that faithful group that scattered the night of His apprehension, the same group that could "not bear" all that He had to say?

No.They said nothing about Daniel or Daniels prophecies becsuse none of what happened had anything to do with Daniels prophecies.

Ps,what does show tgat Daniels prophecies would be in,adistant future is Daniels own prophecy.

Its about the time of the end.

Daniel 11:40 At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships, invading many countries and sweeping through them like a flood.

What year do with you believe was the time of the end ? 33AD?

How can this be "already happening" when Israel as a whole is in UNBELIEF and there is no pure temple of God in Jerusalem? Indeed no temple.
Christians are not at liberty to play fast and loose with Bible prophecies.
No man can show you this, but you have quoted all the scripture necessary to see it.

God the Father IS NOT interested in any physical temple building made by any human. Especially since His Son came here in the flesh, and died for us as God's sacrifice for us.
You all need to back up and then abandon the foolishness of a temple building to be built in Jerusalem.
God Himself brought it to ruination in 70AD, that is, if you can understand the prophecy of the 70 weeks in Daniel 9:27. The word "he" in that verse, is speaking about Jesus! By His Sacrifice, HE IS THE CAUSE of its destruction!!

You say "God the Father IS NOT interested in any physical temple building made by any human."

And exactly where does Scripture declare such a notion??

I have never read anything like that in Scripture, but I have read where instead of declaring the truth of Scripture, false teachers will instead, make up stories and declare a "vision of their own imagination"! They will speak lies like their father, the father of lies!

Anyone with even a marginal knowledge of Scripture knows how much of Scripture is devoted to construction of the temples down to the minutest detail. And after all of this, to declare that God has no interest in any physical temple is absolutely absurd!!

Enoch said >> How can this be "already happening" when Israel as a whole is in UNBELIEF and there is no pure temple of God in Jerusalem?

Your inappropriate judgment upon all of Israel comes from a failure on your part to accept Scripture concerning the "Old Covenant" which God made with the Jews. God's promise to the Jews is entirely between God and the Jews, and judging the Jews for adhering that Covenant, you are also judging God, the one who made that Covenant with them, which I find quite distasteful!!

Enoch said >> "Indeed no temple." Actually, they have been working on the temple, with the prescribed vessels of worship all ready to go, and the Sanhedrin are already searching for someone to make it a reality. They have already approached Donald Trump, but unwisely suggested it be a partnership with Trump and the Russians!! So that daft idea was dead from inception. I can just picture the sign up on the temple. Instead of Trump Tower, it would say Trump Temple. :)

Looks like you have swallowed the false teachings of John Hagee hook, line and sinker.

But the Bible itself tells us (that is, the Holy Spirit Himself tells us) that at present "...ye should [not] be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." (Rom 11:25).

The Old Covenant has been REPLACED by the New Covenant, and therefore Jews who fail to repent and be converted to Christ are lost. And even while the Law of Moses was in place, salvation (justification) was always by grace through faith -- not by the works of the Law.

Now we know that what things soever the Law saith, it saith to them who are under the Law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the Law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the Law is the knowledge of sin. (Rom 3:19,20)

Stan, Seriously, have YOU read the Bible??

No one, and I mean NO ONE will be saved without faith in Christ!!
Do you not understand John 3:18?
[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Earburner said >> "Stan, Seriously, have YOU read the Bible??"

I presume the purpose of the statement was merely to insult me, containing nothing regarding the topic, a common ploy used by left wingers. When they cannot defend the message, the resort to attacking the messenger. :-(

Earburner said >> No one, and I mean NO ONE will be saved without faith in Christ!!
Do you not understand John 3:18?

You apparently do not understand the Biblical doctrine of vicarious atonement.

It starts way back there in the oldest book of the Bible in Job 1:

"4 His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day . . When the days of feasting had completed their cycle, Job would send and consecrate them, rising up early in the morning and offering burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said, “Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually."

The righteousness of Job extended to his entire family. Job's sons did not offer a sacrifice on their own behalf, but Job vicariously did it on their behalf. Much like the temple sacrifice, that vicariously provided atonement for all of Israel.

The same principal applies their spouse is not a believer? Will they be together in Heaven?

Jesus said of husband and wife, "they are no longer two, but one". Since they are no longer two, they cannot be separated.

The essence of our faith is founded upon John 3:16, wherein "whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" but "he who does not believe has been condemned already". But God has made an exception is made in the case of a non-believing spouse being jointed as one to a believing spouse.

God first and foremost supports the eternal unity between husband and wife, and He is not going to tear apart the unity He created. Belief infuses the entire unified being. From His perspective, God is more than willing to suspend His foundational rules in favour of maintaining the unity He created between husband and wife, as part of His eternal plan. So even if one spouse is a non-believer, to rescue that unity God says: "The unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy." 1 Corinthians 7:14

The belief of one spouse sanctifies (makes holy) not only the unbelieving spouse but also extends to the children of such union. The same applies to Israel, the wife of YHWH. He and his wife Israel are a single inseparable unity.

Studying the Bible is not a mere cherry-picking diversion, but it must be studied within the context of the ENTIRE Scripture.

Daniels not talking about Christ but to answer your question.

CHRIST HAS NO END.

So you claim the king of the south attacked the king of the north what year? What year exactly are you claiming was the time of the end?

Daniel 11:40 At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships, invading many countries and sweeping through them like a flood.

I don't know much about Hagee, but if the primary purpose of your post is to manufacture a whole lot of fantasy nonsense about me, then we really have nothing to discuss. i have better ways to utilize my time than engage with your nonsense.

Christ said He was the End, but you say, No. That is enough said.

However, it is not Christ who has no end, but rather Jesus the Son, Almighty God. Christ's life in the flesh, on the other hand, ended in sacrifice. Just as it is also with all who take up their cross and follow Him.

Exactly when do you claim was the time of the end when this verse was fulfilled?

I have answered already. You not accepting it, is your doing.

If Daniel spoke of the end (and he did), he spoke of Christ who was the End. The death of Christ was the end time, and these are the last days.

As for the king of the north and the south, he referred to heaven and earth, Jesus and Satan.

So you believe these two kings are Jesus and Satan.

Daniel 11:27 And the two kings, with their hearts bent on evil, will speak lies at the same table, but to no avail, for still the end will come at the appointed time.

Which of these two evil kings do you believe is Jesus, the king of the north or the king of the south?
