I see it and I am not Bob! Please stop calling me that. Evangicals may agree on some things but they will never fully agree because they value their own ideas more than God's.
You shouldn't lump the evangelicals all together any more than non-Catholics should lump all Catholics together. There are some serving God on both sides of the line that men have drawn. God does not look to see which side of such a line you are on... but rather at your heart without regard to how men may have designated you.

Now, get ready to block:

in the kjv:

1Jo 4:1, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jo 4:2, Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jo 4:3, And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2Jo 1:7, For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
I don't know why you would now change and witness in my behalf that my spirit is of God, but thank you!

Fail.

If Jesus were not David's Lord, He would still be David's seed according to the flesh. So that is not an answer. You have not answered how He is David's Lord, also being his seed.

Therefore, I will not give you an answer to your question either.

But if you think you can back your lies and claims with the scriptures--go for it, and I will show you where you are wrong (again).
The conundrum, in the scripture in question, is, how is Jesus David's son if He is his Lord?

The answer is, indeed, that He is his Lord in that He is God; and he is His son in that He was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.

I have answered your question adequately; but you are in denial of the truth.

I have shown that the kjv's rendering refutes your position; whereas you have said that the kjv is not against it. You are obviously wrong in this.

You are a sinner in need of the Saviour.

However, you deny that Jesus is in the flesh; and therefore those scriptures show that your spirit is not of the Lord.

2Co 4:3, But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Co 4:4, In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

1Co 2:14, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Act 28:26, Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
Act 28:27, For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Amen!

Glad to hear your feeling better Mark.
Just a question Jesus says take up your cross and follow me, what do you believe that means?
Embrace the intruments of your own demise, the same way Jesus did.

Embrace hopelessness in this world, in this body, just giving up on every hope for anything in this world, health, wealth, security, comfort, whatever, so that I can live the life supplied by God, through His Spirit, to be fruitful for His kingdom, not mine.

Thank you for asking! I have to remember this.

Much love!

No...you have not given the answer, but have merely quoted the words that even Satan could quote.

By the same measure that you have judged me, you yourself have been found guilty at your own hand.

Yes, I am also a sinner in need of the Saviour (probably three or more times as bad)...thankfully I have Him now.

Would it be out of place to suggest a lighter tone?

:)
It is a tough crowd, but:

1 John 4:4
"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
