Who said you were replacing God?
No one!
You are Such a DUNCE.
... you make up some absurd comment, then call it nonsense...

Do you really NOT COMPREHEND you are consistently making comments and then disagreeing with your own words?

It's already been acknowledged your are a conversational narcissist....a great deal of people on this forum have disagreement with what you say....and we get it...you also disagree with what you say...

Frankly it is rather boring to listen to you speak and then disagree with yourself.

So try to stick to the facts...

Is this verse in your Catholic Bible?
IF so, what is your understanding of this verse?

Matt 23
[9] And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Glory to God,
Taken
Gee - and YOU accuse ME of "name-calling".
What utter hypocrisy . . .

As for Matt. 23:9 this is one of my FAVORITE hypocritical Protestant arguments.
You ALL have fathers - yet Catholics aren't allowed to use that term.

Exod. 20:12 CLEARLY commands that we Honor our FATHER and mother - but I guess that's only for Protestants.

What cracks me up MOSTLY about this asinine argument is that it is Scripturally-bankrupt to think that Christ forbade calling anybody "Father". In CONTEXT, which I know you resent - He was talking about the Scribes and Pharisees who placed themselves ABOVE our Father in Heaven.

In the verse that precedes this (Matt: 23:8), Jesus tells us not to call people “Teachers”. Is Jesus telling us that we can’t call certain people "fathers" or “teachers” when they may actually be fathers or teachers? Absolutely NOT. He is telling us that no man is to be considered father above our Father in heaven and no person is to be considered teacher above our Teacher in heaven.

Now, pay attention, Einstein, because here is where it gets tricky for your Protestant argument . . .

- Jesus said, “Your FATHER Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” (John 8:56).
- St. Stephen refers to "our FATHER Abraham," (Acts 7:2).
- St. Paul speaks of "our FATHER Isaac (Romans 9:10).
- St. Paul says, "For I became your FATHER in Christ Jesus through the gospel" (1 Cor. 4:14–15).
- "For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle . . . a TEACHER of the Gentiles in faith and truth" (1 Tim. 2:7).
- "For this gospel I was appointed a preacher and apostle and TEACHER" (2 Tim. 1:11).
- "God has appointed in the church first Apostles, second prophets, third TEACHERS" (1 Cor. 12:28).

You see - taking Scripture OUT of its proper context will only get you into trouble.
Don't just quote Scripture. LEARN what it means . . .

I'll remind you that it was after the PAPAL JESUITS the Nazi regime of Hitler modeled its SS, not SDAs - a most unwelcome truth to papists, is it not?
False. Isaiah is clear that whatever is spoken by men must conform to the Word of God (Isaiah 8:20 KJV). You papists insist that "tradition" is higher than the Word of God, and we all know what Jesus said about making "tradition" stand above the Word of God, right? (Matthew 15:1-9 KJV). This passage is an absolute perfect description of the error you papists practice.
You are twisting Scripture to suit the desires of your apostate church. No where does the Bible state that the church is the final authority - it is the Body. JESUS CHRIST and HIS WORD are the final authority.

The Church is the "Body of Christ, the Born again Christian", "sons of God" "purified in the blood of god's Lamb, Jesus, KJV, "subjects of God" not the unsaved members, 'pagans", 'heathens, of the Church of Catholicism=fraud, the "sons of the devil", "liars, thieves and murderers", john 8:44, who worship the devil" led by the "jews=frauds, as defined by Jesus. "The devil is the Liar" as is the 560 BC Pharisees=jews=1750, heathens known today as the 1776 Illuminati Zionist, jews=frauds, Pharisee of Zionism, judahism, Phariseeism, including today, the 1776 Illuminati Pharisees who murdered Christ in 0033AD.

I am aware that you think the pope is "Jesus Christ hidden under the veil of flesh" and use that as part of the basis for justifying your blasphemous beliefs, but that is false. The pope is an ordinary sinner in need of the same grace as the rest of us.
Once again, whatever exposes your apostate church as the papal Antichrist that it is, you argue "opinion" or "poetic language" or "not sanctioned church doctrine". Then why didn't church authorities immediately censure/excommunicate those responsible for this "heresy", Dead Bread? For the same reason the church does not hand over your pedophile papists child predators to the police, Dead Bread: the church APPROVES of such demonic beliefs and practices.

Yes, it's so important that it's sufficient...
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NASBS
[16] All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; [17] so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

What else is needed? After all, it is God's Word in written form.

There shall ne no Peace in 1948 ISRAEL, INCORP, fraud until Judgment Day when Christ will destroy the "one world government" KJV or NWO=fraud,, "armies of the world",KJV, UN, fraud, and Jerusalem which He will "bring a New Jerusalem down :eek:out of the clouds and replace the organic Jerusalem with the new Jerusalem of 1500 sq miles. Israel, in the Land of Canaan, was promised by God upon its deliverance by Moses "for Eternity to the Chosen Israelites. No "jews", Pharisees, Ishmaelites=Arabs, Illuminati International Elite, "liars, thieves and murderers " do not, shall not ever own Israel. No. Jews are mixed seed, not white Hebrew, Chosen Israelites, God's Chosen people. It is the eternal home of God's Chosen Israelites. White Hebrew, Born again Christians. Matt 15;24 "I come only for the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel." "That Jesus the Redeemer might redeem the Lost Sheep, Chosen Israelites, into Found Sheep. Born again Christians. Found Israelites. These Men of God have "all the Power of God.' John 14;14 "If ye ask Anything "in My name" I shall, must do it". said the Promise Keeper.

The Papacy is a manifestation of apostate Christianity. But it has nothing to do with the reign of the Antichrist, other than succumb to his rule. Some say that a future pope will be the False Prophet, but that has no solid biblical basis.

The anti Christ will not be a son of God. A Born again Christian. He will be of an "ism"=religion hated by God. KJV All "religions are "isms", frauds hated by God. KJV

The anti Christ will not be a son of God.
Who said he would be a son of God? He is called the Son of Perdition (the exact opposite).

How can an individual be an "ism"? Are you an "ism"?

How can an individual be a religion? Are you sure you are not thoroughly confused about this subject, and should really go back to square one?

Gee - and YOU accuse ME of "name-calling".
What utter hypocrisy . . .

LOL..No that is not hypocrisy.
I accused you of namecalling, and that is a truth.

I called you a name that is the truth.
You have the worst command and understanding of the English language...

utter hypocrisy

LOL...get a dictionary dude.

As for Matt. 23:9 this is one of my FAVORITE hypocritical Protestant arguments.

No, Matt 23:9 is not a hypocritical Protestant argument.

Matt 23:9 is using Scripture as verification to Disagree with Catholic Teaching.

Matt 23:9
[9] And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

You ALL have fathers - yet Catholics aren't allowed to use that term.

LOL. Having a father is not the POINT..."CALLING" men father is the point Dunce!

Ya you would find it funny for one to believe what Jesus said..."call no man your father upon the earth:"...

And per your usual because YOU do not believe what Jesus SAID, you think YOU SAYING people who DO BELIEVE JESUS are "scripturally -bankrupt"....and that should suffice to make YOUR claims believable. LOL

It doesn't.

In the verse that precedes this (Matt: 23:8), Jesus tells us not to call people “Teachers”.

Deflecting.

No, that Scripture is not saying that...
That Scripture says NOTHING about a mans consideration.

Sad, Sad, Sad....aside from you speaking FOR everyone else, you think yourself authorized to REWRITE Scripture!

Now, pay attention, Einstein, because here is where it gets tricky for your Protestant argument . . .

Go for it DUNCE..

LOL...to CALL is for one person to directly ADDRESS another person...

Not ONCE in your examples was ONE man CALLING / speaking to another man calling the other man father.

Those examples of one man CALLING/ speaking to another man calling the other man father...would be what YOU DO..what you were taught TO DO...by YOUR Church.

I did not take scripture out of context and surely didn't rewrite the Scripture as you did.

Glory to God,

Since William Miller died almost TWENTY YEARS BEFORE THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH BEGAN TO EXIST, my opinion of my church has nothing to do with Miller.
My research has shown that the modern Seventh-day Adventism traces its origins back to the early 1800's to Mr. William Miller.

Since your church was not founded by Miller or Christ through His apostles who did found your church and create the doctrine of which you follow?

You absolutely spewed hypocrisy.

What do you call the guy who sired you? He is your FATHER. Do you call him by his first name??
The whole "Dad" argument is stupid and ignorant because the etymology of "Dad" simply means "FATHER".

What do you call the person who taught you history or math?? They were your TEACHERS.

YOUR problem is that you're a literalist when it suits you - and everything else is figurative.
You're a living, breathing hypocrisy . . .

the modern SDA church traces its origins back to the INCEPTION of the SDA church. The period preceding the INCEPTION of the SDA church involved evaluating and determining Biblical truths as revealed in prophetic passages.

The teachings of the SDA church today are the same as those going back to the inception of the SDA church, as far as I know..we still say the Sabbath is the seventh day the papacy is the Antichrist, etc. No changes.

Hmmm..

You two might want to get on the same page....

No contradiction there. What was practiced, taught, and lived out by the apostles was lost to a great extent under the dominion of the Catholic Antichrist system. Truth was trampled in the street, those practicing their observance of the Sabbath were persecuted, the second coming as a doctrine discarded... So, along with many other truths and doctrines that were forgotten, misunderstood, covered up, and/or disposed of, God saw fit to resurrect them again... This the reformation... Of which the SDA church is the last.

I see. The gates of hell prevailed and Jesus had to reestablish his church?

Sorry, not buying what you're selling.

If the gates of hell had prevailed there would not have been a reformation...
And Jesus didn't say that the gates of hell would not prevail over just any church... But would not prevail over the church founded upon Him. Once the church left Him... It was open season.

At the time of the apostles. They were all seventh day Adventist. As was Jesus.

Of course I'm serious:). Jesus and the apostles observed the seventh day Sabbath, and they prophesied of and looked forward to the second coming when all evil would be vanquished and the mysteries and doubts over the character of God would come to a conclusion. So, seventh Day Adventists.

As the Church has taught from the very beginning..
Who are you to claim some new foundation apart from communion with the apostles?
