So you admit your claim, the orthodox jews recieve the king of the north as the Messiah was a load of crap.
Now can you stop derailing this thread with your bull.

This thread is about Donald Trump/king of the north and no,where in scripture does it say orthodox jews recieve the king of the north as the Messaih.

The 'bull' being pushed here in this thread is your silly idea that Trump is the Dan.11 king of the north.

Furthermore, you show you don't even understand the king of the north prophecy in Daniel 11, because at Dan.11:19 it says he will stumble and fall, and not be found, and that is PRIOR... to the appearing of the later "vile person" that causes the 'abomination of desolation' idol in Jerusalem, and is to exalt himself as God.

Trump just casually discussed killing tens of millions of people in horrifying nuke fantasy

It was only last month the king of the north casually discussed tens of millions of people.

Now he wants to use the abomination that causes desolation on incoming huricanes.

Trump suggested dropping nuclear bombs into hurricanes to stop them from hitting the U.S.

And also, Trump DID NOT CLAIM TO BE MESSIAH, NOR GOD. He claimed that he was 'chosen' to settle trade issues with China that previous administrations had been afraid to do. What you are pushing is propaganda against the U.S. President.

No ,the raiser of taxes is prior to Trump. The man of war before him who took prisoners to cuba was a Bush.
Get it straight.

And ealier that day he thanked a man who compared him to the second coming of God.

Get it straight.

You're the one who needs straightening.

The key passages that show the "vile person" is NOT... the king of the north, I highlighted in red.

Dan 11:18-40
18 After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.
19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

Thus ends the king of the north in the first section of Dan.11.

20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

The raiser of taxes is next, and then his time ends.

21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

Then a "vile person" comes in using peace and takes over the kingdom. This is the final Antichrist for the end. Antiochus IV served as a type, as he in 165 B.C. took Jerusalem, went inside the temple and sacrificed swine on the altar and spread its broth, then placed an idol in Zeus worship. This "vile person" is to place the abomination that maketh desolate per the later verse here in Dan.11. The "league" he makes is the event of Dan.9:27 and involves the final 'seven' of the one week prophecy.

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.
26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Still about the same "vile person" of verse 21. That is about the restoration of the old covenant worship in Jerusalem at the end of this world. It will involve a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem by the Jews. That is what that "league" by the "vile person" with a small group of orthodox Jews will re-establish.

33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

That is about the war against the saints for the time of great tribulation.

36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

The "vile person" is who does all that, which this is where Apostle Paul was warning us about in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 regarding the "man of sin" that will sit in the temple at Jerusalem and exalt himself over all that is worshiped or that is called God. The link to New Testament prophecy for the very end in this is unmistakable.

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

KJV

The subject of the "vile person" continues. In that verse 40, the king of the north is a different... entity that the "vile person". That is Biblical proof that the "vile person" is NOT... the "king of the north" you're referring to.

That would be incorrect.
Bush was president during the second war with Iraq and it was he who took prisoners to cuba.

Then Obama stood is his estate and gave us a wonderful tax called obamacare.

Now Trump stands in that estate.

The prince of the covenat (agreement)Is supreme leader Ali Khumeini. It is he and his people who invade Jerusalem and capture it.Then Trump destroys both that prince and the overwhelming army.

After they have attacked and destroyed most of Israrl,Trump destroys all of them.

PS.its not a man who uses the abomination that causes desolation. It is used by the armed forces to cause desolation just as it did in Hiroshima .

Daniel 11:31 NIV: "His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

In fact, you can see the cloud rise from,Jerusalem in revelation three days after the beast captures it.

Hebrews 12.2: 'Looking unto Jesus'...
Nice point! It can be so disheartening sometimes, watching politicians and how they often reflect the very worst of mankind. Instead, we ought to be keeping our eyes upon Christ, which will give us a completely different outlook upon this life and our purpose in it.

So you believe the Pharisees were the wise men,who understand these things that take place in the end times?

Why do,you believe the sect of the pharisees were able to understand something which is sealed till the time of the end thousands of years before the time of the end?

Daniel 12:9 "Go on your way, Daniel," he replied, "for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.
Daniel 12:10 Many will be purified, made spotless, and refined, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.
Do you believe the time of the end was in 167 bc when the pharisees claimed these things took place?

Clearly I don't believe that was the 'time of the end', 'cause we're all still here. Hard for things to end and yet still go on.
And I don't see what the Pharisees have to do with it.
I think a good portion of Daniel can be explained by what happened back then. But there is some of it that can only be explained by the coming of Christ (which clearly the Pharisees missed entirely) and the work he did and the new covenant era he ushered in. From the time of Pentecost onwards we have been, as the bible tells us, in the "last days". Not to say we have reached THE last day, of course.
I think one of the importance of Daniel, apart from the parts that speak of Christs coming, is the links we see between it and Revelation. It helps us understand that this period we live in, these 'last days', ARE the passages of time Revelation speaks of. In this way we have, in Daniel and Revelation, complete divine coverage, in apocolyptic language, of human history. God holds all in his hands. This is a great comfort.

Hi again, @shilohsfoal, I have been meditating about your thread and who you are targeting. Title of thread: Does He Believe He is God?
Then it dawned on me that you unintentionally have equated yourself as God as well.....you have judged a man based on your bias towards him.
Who is our judge? The only one qualified and positioned as our Judge is God.
So then I humbly remind you that we should never judge lest we be judged as well.
I like to think of Paul as a good example of what God can do through even a man who persecuted Him and his followers. Once Paul experienced His Presence and heard His voice he became a changed man. And a great Apostle.
Who knows what God can do to change a man's heart and ways.
Let's be followers of Christ and love one another as He loved us. Unconditionally.
Pray for our leaders and trust God to turn the hearts of men towards Him.

It certainly does make you wonder about those saying that there's another civil war happening right now (or coming very soon). Thank goodness we can know that ultimately God has it all in his hand and plans!
