I talk in circles? I am evasive? I conceal what I am?
Look accuser. You come from a bad place and think you can judge when you know nothing
other than your own experience. False accusations are worthless. Unfortunately Jobs friends
were full of their theories and ideas, yet fell short of seeing either God or Job.

You are on trial, when you come with thorns and thistles hoping to harm another.
If you are in Christ you are bound to love your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Do you love me? If not you do not know Jesus. And this is the point. Those who are Gods people
deserve our love for Christ lives within them. It is why Jesus emphasised those whom He sends
if we open the door we are inviting Him in. And those we reject, we are rejecting Him in the same
way.

It is this very reality Jesus uses to judge the sheep and the goats at the end of time.
So we must beware both how we judge and how we respond to His people. God bless you

I love you in Christ and welcome you as a brother if you testify to His ways.
But I doubt now, based on your responses you know what this spiritual reality actually means.

Keep talking in circles.

Please do not patronize me. I was not confused. Scott needs to go back to see what the truth is. And you did lie.
Even IF I was incorrect in understanding your post(s),
it doesn't mean I was lying (lying means intentional).

And how do you know if someone's lying intentionally?
Which I never do!

Translation:
You made a grievous error, or you've turned into a nut case
and should not be on any Christian forum.

As I said, you are actually saying nothing, zip, zero, empty words, vapourware, which is fine
because it shows the value of your contribution. God bless you.

Satan operates a lot in third world countries...few cameras. He does not like being exposed, it is probably one of the better weapons against him. All this talk is about you not wanting to tell the truth and reveal what you are. Anybody that reads this can see that you do not want to be exposed. Words said to solicit a response. The jig is up! Hold your flag high!

I wonder if OSAS was intended to mean once born again you cannot become unborn.
When I was a young immature Christian I almost gave up because no matter how hard I tried I always messed up.
I was so stressed about going to hell that i didn't have joy in my salvation but rather constant anxiety that I might sin and immediately after be killed in an accident of some kind before I could repent.
Praise God I discovered His Mercy and Grace is new every day!
I'm sure it was initially a counter to the other side that thinks we can lose our salvation. Unfortunately its become a target for some to label people that hold to it as antinomian...without the law or lawless. Which is why i prefer eternal security of the believer or perseverance of the saints. They all say the same thing in a slightly different way. But the basic truth is we cannot, once born again lose that salvation. Those born again are zealous for good works; Titus 2:14.

Hi Grail, Few cameras. Not wanting to tell the truth? Reveal what your are?
The truth in held in Jesus and His word, it is witnessed to by His people walking in grace and truth.
Love is our heart and key.
I asked you if you loved me. You have failed to respond. So obviously you do not believe my words
represent me or my heart. This happened to the pharisees and I have seen it happen to other people
I have come across. The idea they could be wrong is so self destructive it is better to imagine a deception
and a conspiracy of an evil kingdom than accept things need to change at home in ones own heart.
Jesus called it

49 "I am not possessed by a demon," said Jesus, "but I honor my Father and you dishonor me.
50 I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.
51 I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death."
John 8

We can only judge by what we see and hear. But unfortunately if this upsets us too much, we have a
choice, change or fall into delusion. And once this delusion takes hold, I am not sure people come back.

It probably does not help me indulging your delusions, but I do love you and wish the best for you.
Listen to Jesus and follow Him and you will find life. God bless you.

I wonder, if you will allow me, if the confusion comes from those who start the walk, yet never truly knew what it was.
Only the Lord knows. I have friends who appear to walk as believers yet some always liked the social implications but
always were addicted to competition and doing well.
Some on the other hand shine brightly and walk and grow in Him, like it is their all.

So the problem maybe like a child we need to know who the Lord is and His covenant love to us, while knowing the
walk of grace and good works. Some grow up in the church and never truly find themselves or the Lord, yet know the
words. They are caught in a halfway house, but must find resolution. One resolution is to say sin and life mean nothing
or fruit and it is all on Jesus. It brings peace to their hearts, and resolves the tension. My parents went to church most
of their lives, yet did not know Jesus. Religious faith or belief is not unusual. So maybe we confuse too easily those who
have a form of faith, but their hearts have always been cold. It is why I prefer to talk about fruit and transformation and
our walk, than doctrines, or assertions which do not help people experience a deeper knowledge of our Lord or His ways.
God bless you

I usually go to the parable of the sower. There are four types of soil but only one produced anything that was planted deep in good soil and bore fruit. The first three were superficial. We see that a lot. They are there then fall away when 'it didn't work'. And off to the next religion.

I'd say all of the above. Theology is important. In Galatians they were skewered by Paul for being sucked into something false. He expected them to know the gospel yet they fell for a false one. In Eph 5:11 we are to expose false teaching. In 1 Peter 3:15 we are to give to everyone that asks of us an answer. Jude 3 contend earnestly for the faith....You get the idea. Doctrine is important otherwise how do we keep from being tossed here and there by every wind of doctrine?? If we don't know the truth we are susceptible to false teaching.

No, you are a squirming snake accusing me of every evil you yourself are doing daily. It is called psychological projection, and you can't help yourself, blindly blaming everyone but yourself for your own problems.

If it is not so...then stop.
I will stop and go as I please...

If you are threatening a sheep of the flock that I am called to watch over, then I will utilize my rod and my staff, and my sword, to combat it.

You have three fingers pointing back at you.

Each time you fire back, it is YOU pointing three fingers back. And it was you who commented about the back and forth, obviously because you are subconsciously convicted.

But since there is no such biblical mandate, tell us: Where and how did you get this "calling" to "watch over" "the flock?"

If I respond, will you not say that I have three fingers pointing back at me?

There is such a biblical mandate; it is found in Ezekiel 18 and 33. Also 1 Peter chapter 5.

I condemn this thread (the one quoted from: has Jesus come in spirit?) as being primarily heretical.

There. Now I do not have to post here anymore.

You want to own the thread, own it.

I will post in threads where there is no danger of having my posts deleted.

So then, if you have started a thread, I will respond only to your subject matter in that thread; and if I have anything to say off-subject that is in response to anything that is said, I will start a new thread and will post a link to that thread with my response (to show you how ridiculous you are being).

But if you have not started the thread, then I believe that we will have the normal freedom to post freely as has been the atmosphere here of posting in liberty for quite some time.

I will say that you are threatening the good atmosphere of these forums by attempting to bring in the moderators to destroy the freedom of speech that we have enjoyed here for quite some time.

Currently, they have been very much conducive to our freedom of speech and it has made coming here a much more pleasant experience than in some other message boards, where you have to fear having your posts being deleted left and right over the slightest of infractions.

I agree theology does matter, because it is Gods word extended into a framework of understanding.
But without a spiritual encounter with Jesus, being cleansed and purified, brought to the cross and seeing
things in the perspective of the Holy Spirit, nothing will ever be seen right.

I found this out because what I share is very basic and simple, yet I was condemned as being evil, deceived,
lost and empty. This was not because of theology but some emotional experiences people had that formed
their view of faith and human nature. So set these folk appear to be, talking theology seems only to annoy them
and cause rages. And these guys grew up in the church and know theology over 30+ years.

Something else is at play, which we need to defend and identify, because many less aware people are being led
astray and deceived, even when the words and fruit indicate serious issues are afoot. What I found interesting
is often verses where taken from a different perspective than I expected, which actually made a different case
than the one they used them for. Once one saw Jesus's intention, their use is absurd. It makes me wonder
that many of our issues are just not pressing on enough and we get too distracted by these superficial lost
sinners who claim so much but deliver nothing. God bless you.

Christians should simply say "the eternal security of the believer" and yes, the New Birth is definitely a part of that eternal security. But there are many more reasons why salvation can never to lost.
When God became my Father I knew then that He would always be busy teaching me His ways, correcting me when I was in error of His Truth, and chastising me when I disobeyed His Commandments....and He promised me that He would never abandon me. He delights Himself in watching us grow and come into the fullness of His Truth.
He grieves when I stop fellowshipping with Him and calls out to me to return back and renew our fellowship.
This is what makes Him so wonderful in my eyes. A loving Father intent on giving me His Wisdom so that I may finish what He started in me.

It is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who guides us into all truth. So I believe everyone who is seeking Him, His truth, will come to understand it as they are able to understand it.
Just my thoughts....I used to engage in debates and get angry and say mean things but the Holy Spirit convicted me and I got "grounded" for about a month. Lol...I had to accept that each person has their beliefs they grew up with and the main focus is to always Glorify God in what we share. Lifting Jesus up always.
God Bless
you have valid points i have in times past allowed my flesh to respond.. but not in this particular thread.. just food for thought any teaching saying it is ok to do as you please after salvation and still be saved. is very false . this is why i have seen it on both sides of the fence /. facts are each one of regardless of belief can or can not .are to do our best with a life of holiness in which at times we all fail at . the Bible says holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: hebrews 12:14
