Are you just finding out that Episkopos has invented (manufactured) his own theology? I have pointed this out a few times. Frankly, I don't waste time on his posts.
I have this desire to bring hidden things into the light. They often only come kicking and screaming. Contrary to some people's opinion, I'm not the one speaking with craftiness. I believe in a plain truth, simply expressed.

Much love!

Neither did Epi claim he is perfect. Although men keep insisting he has said it, he never said it. And yes, Paul never claimed he was perfect either.

Paul said if we abide (remain in Him), we do not sin. Of course, men don't believe that is possible, so they say: that is wrong. I abide in Him and I DO still sin, therefore, what Paul said is impossible.

What would make a man who searches things out with honesty come to that conclusion rather than saying: ah, then I must not be abiding in Him...

It's quite absurd, really. It's like...if a sign says: pay a fee and get on this boat, it will ferry you across to the other side of the river. You pay the fee and then stand on the shore waiting to be transported. You do not find yourself being transported. So you come to the conclusion that the sign lied instead of wondering why it didn't work and what you might have done wrong. You tell others the sign is a lie, and others tell you, oh, you have to actually get on the boat, but you insist, I WAS on the boat! In fact, I'm STILL on the boat!
I truly believe that you do not realize what exactly it is that God has done for you through faith in Christ.

Much love!

Is a New Creature secure and grounded in God...that is all I’m asking?

It depends what you mean by secure... If you mean eternally saved as in an eternity with God...no. Being born again in the New Testament is the equivalent of being born in Israel (as a Jew) in the Old Testament. Just as they were rejected so can we also be. God does NOT love Gentiles and hate the Jews.

Now..not all who are of Israel are Israel.

Not all they who a born of the Spirit continue in the Spirit. We are to bear the same kind of fruit as the saints we read about in the bible.

The game changer is when we enter into Christ where we experience HIS life and miraculous walk. But even that doesn't guarantee a reward from the Lord. We have to hold fast HIS works till the end for a reward.

Rev. 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

There is a reason why Jesus said it would be better for Sodom on the day of judgement than it would be for some other men.
But not His children. Who told you that?? That God would do worse to His very children than to Sodom? Those born from Him? This is not what the Bible teaches, this is not love.

Actually eternal life is only found when we enter INTO Christ to walk as He walked...in that same eternal power as He did...the perfected walk...the power of the life to come.

Then by your doctrine, Either you walk in sinlessness, or you have no life.

Many who have been born again in our time have been seduced from the "simplicity" (single-minded purpose) of Christ.
There's something to be read and pondered with sobriety,

So I'm presenting the truth...but to many this seems like I'm making this stuff up.

Show you are not by showing the Scriptures that teach these things. You speak many words, and you even do point to verses, so many people do, but those verses so often do not teach what you teach. Let's look at them together.

They judge me from themselves thinking I must be as in the dark as they are.

I offer reasonable discussion. Your words show your response, you disparage others. "You don't agree with me? You are in darkness." Right.

My advantage is that I have seen and experienced what the bible speaks of...whereas they who oppose my words show only that they have no such experience...just religious theories.
So called advantage. No experience or vision or hallucination that leads you away from the true Gospel is valid.

I have more than theory. I know God's power. But that's not the point. His power is according to the teaching of His Word. And He has given me His Word.

Again, here, your words, You don't agree with what I say? You have no spiritual experience.

Insults are one way people attempt to bully others. Insult someone enough, they sometimes get tired of it and go away. You'll have to be the one to decide if that is what you do on these threads.

So then I am being a witness here...of Christ and His realm in the Spirit called the kingdom of God. Zion!
We have a true witness, and it's called the Bible, and the Bible says that our walk is not actually according to what we see, but according to what we believe. By faith, not by sight.

We know that Jesus Christ lives, and we live with Him in the heavenly realm, not because you say we do, that is, if we can completely stop sinning. Rather we know this because the Bible says we do through believing in Jesus Christ.

I'd have no issue with your visions or revelations or whatever it is you've experienced, but I have to take everything according to Scripture, and when there is so much that is so contrary to what is plainly stated over and over, it's the Bible I go with.

Much love!

Not all they who a born of the Spirit continue in the Spirit.

bs. God gives the increase. He gives His Spirit. I see what you are saying about not all are Israel but it has nothing to do with the Spirit and children born out of that Spirit not being sufficient in all things pertaining to Him. whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world. Yet, you say that is a lie.

Been struggling for days with frustration...good frustration or evil that is still unanswered but really beginning to despise ‘doctrines of exclusion’’. Feel like playing soccer and you are the goalie with a checklist hid behind your back secret checkpoints...of the opinion you are the keeper of the door into Christ and one must adhere to your checklist before entering. That is what He came to do away with, man getting the ultimate say who enters into the kingdom of God based off their checklist of righteousness or not. You are not the keeper of the door. Revelation 3:7-8 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; [8] I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

It is for the poor who have no might of their own. An open door ...no man can shut...only “He that is holy, He that is true”

It is not up for man’s exclusion but for those who have no might of their own. He said it is the Father’s good pleasure to give the kingdom of God. “His good pleasure” ...yet man wants to make it nearly impossible. Luke 12:31-34 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. [32] Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. [33] Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. [34] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

It is not a dance for man and his checklist as keeper of the door. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Jeremiah 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE Lord OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Job 35:2 [2] Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?

Isaiah 65:5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

I’m not different than you. We both need Him. I don’t believe you are excluded from His love. But I’m very frustrated with your continued sell that you have the checklist of holiness and rather I not stand near you. Honestly, it breaks my heart. The board lately has made me remember exactly why I don’t go to church. There is option a) go sit in a church pew as a shell and never speak or contribute or be myself...pretend and be accepted.

Or b) be rejected.

I'm seeing how much error you are sowing on my thread. To me you are just troll who says the opposite of truth. As such I ignore your words as they convey nothing but opinions that have no foundation in the words from God. But just to show you are speaking of things you know nothing about...spewing opinions...read this.

I said...

To which you denied by your own high-mindedness...going directly against the bible you say I speak against. So you are turning the truth around to testify falsely. A reader with any reading skills and a little discernment will see that you are in fact spreading falsehood at every turn. So I will present this and ignore you... :)

But here is what the bible says (Paul)...

Rom. 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

So you deny the truth and have exchanged this for a lie. Would God in His love cut you off? Of course...if you denigrate truth as you do.

What is happening, or should be, is that we are still growing toward God, toward that sinless state that Jesus was in... The fact of growth in that direction, rather standing still or sliding backward, is our "perfection". Again, how far can a person grow? That is not limited by God, but by us. Still people, as I see it, should not be asking that question of anyone. But, like in many other areas people effectively pat themselves on the back by manifesting that they understand a person better than the person does. They try to do to our friend @Episkopos as they often try to do @Jane_Doe22 . Because we cannot at the moment see any sin in ourselves does not mean there are no still some dark places within us. What are these dark places? God knows! We don't see ourselves as well as God can.

Give God the glory!

“Natural branches” ...men gather pruned branches where there is no spiritual fruit and throws those branches in the Fire. Spiritual branches are those branches abiding in the Spirit of God. Why would “spiritual branches” not bear fruit attached to the root which is Christ? God gives the increase. Why would He cut off His Spirit...

Greatly struggling here over what is being said. 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. [17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Right before these verses of “hereforth know we no man after the flesh...” is
2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

All dead ...to be...made alive in Christ. Either dead. Or alive in Christ. Either dead. Or alive in Christ. All have come short of the glory.
If I’m understanding what is being said it is: “I certainly believe it is possible and would never deny it...that a person through God working in them” a New creature alive unto and in Christ, born of God...could “stop sinning before the dirt is shoveled over them”?

Is that correct? If “hereforth we know no man after the flesh...though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now hereforth know we Him no more...He is a new creature...” doesn’t that pertain to works of that which is dead are remembered no more but are dead whether they are consider holy and good or Not...in “the New Creature” God has made clean ...do not call it unclean?
No man after the flesh can do it. If this were so the sacrifice of Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as per Acts 2 would have been unnecessary.

The problem is that people keep on putting it back on themselves saying, 'It is impossible'. In themselves ALONE it is impossible. But... people raise their personal doubts about themselves and effectively blame God for their own shortcomings.

God provided the means. Once we recognize that and start in His direction along THAT highway of holiness, we can make it. If we run into difficulties along that road, [and who does not?] , all we have to do is ask for help and it is there.

One of the best examples of this is seen in Peter stepping out of the boat and walking on the water toward Jesus. That was done before the sacrifice of Jesus and before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on that day of Pentecost, but it shows us the power of God has always been available to a heart pointed truly in the right direction... even when we do in moments of doubt or temptation look at or for something other than His Face.

"But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me." Matt 14:30

As to the being made clean, who can do that but God? Some people may say God has already cleaned me, but if a person doesn't say that or denies the possibility don't let that interfere with or change your own faith that God can do it... IF you will not interfere with Him.

Episkopos has actually described himself in this sort of way, and has explained this in his screen name episkopos, for what we all know the word means, overseer, but he has also described it as "visitation", when God gives visitation, literally, oversight, but in the sense of giving approval or not.

He explains that he has been visited and approved, and therefore is set to visit and approve. Or not.

So there ya' go.

Is a New Creature secure and grounded in God...that is all I’m asking?
People want that security and really God does give it to them, but it requires a continuous growth as it requires a continuous for a natural child to become a mature adult. It will not happen with no effort on the child's part.

A new creature in the Spirit is like a new baby born in the flesh born at ground zero [0]. Each has an opportunity to go from zero to 100% for him in his particular realm.

The difference is the spiritual baby, is that before he was born again he was at less than zero [minus]. Being born again brought him up to zero with all of the necessary tools and helps needed available to move up toward that 100% mark. What prevents that growth upward? We do because of the baggage still lying in our minds and bad habits we already have developed in our years before we were born again. We do because when we were first born again others tried to "help" us by programing out thoughts and activities and even in our understanding of what we would read in the written scriptures.

This is why years may pass by after being born again with little or no real growth toward the 100%. Some will actually move back in the negative direction because they have followed their own old ways [bad habits] or the programs of men instead of simply following Jesus and reading, and walking in the Spirit themselves. We really need to join Peter walking on the water now...

This . . .

But here is what the bible says (Paul)...

Rom. 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

. . . does not say this . . .

Being born again in the New Testament is the equivalent of being born in Israel (as a Jew) in the Old Testament.

Continue not in God's goodness, the Word is clear . . .

1 John 2
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

These who do not continue, are not His.

To me you are just troll who says the opposite of truth.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. Was it helpful?

As such I ignore your words as they convey nothing but opinions that have no foundation in the words from God. But just to show you are speaking of things you know nothing about...spewing opinions...read this.

I reply to you with Scripture. Do you regard the Words of Scripture more highly than your own?

To which you denied by your own high-mindedness...going directly against the bible you say I speak against. So you are turning the truth around to testify falsely. A reader with any reading skills and a little discernment will see that you are in fact spreading falsehood at every turn. So I will present this and ignore you...

And yet another personal attack. Just a quick accusation to round out your reply. I say this in hopes that you can become more self-aware.

Much love!
