Born-again Believers Why don't you Pray that God sends Angles to Calm and turn the Hurricane Away from USA coast? So easy!!

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Is this Gods judgement on bad stewardship of the earths resources?
Or is this something the Lord is willing to temper and change?
If it is happening then it is Gods will to allow it.

What about the deaths, the harm, the abuse going on daily? Are these less or more important?
Which of these things deserve intervention and which need to play out, you reap what you sow?

There are some foolish folk who think everything wrong God wants to stop, except when they pray
their eye sight is still short focused, their missing hair is still missing, their dentistry is still present.
And worst of all they still do not have enough money to make them happy......

Wake up!!! Wise up!!!

This is one hurricane, God will listen to one righteous person if they pray, so if you pray in your belief God will listen
to you. So you claim to the have the faith, so pray, and we will see if God has heard.

Or maybe you want others to believe and ask, and because they ask alone, God will answer, and if God does not
answer it is because they did not believe correctly. Elijah knew God had called him to ministry and to call an end
to the drought. So he prayed and God heard. This is a special gift of grace.

If my people, is not if sinners who have no faith, but those who hold the name of the Lord.

And on these very forums on the internet many hold the name of Jesus yet refuse to repent, turn from their evil ways and walk in the ways of Christ. They have many excuses, but it is clear, putting Gods word in front of them makes no difference whatsoever.

God declared that if a town is in rebellion against him it should be wiped out. How does florida look to the Lord?
Righteous loving and whole, or rebellious sinful and lost?

During these calamities that are happening all too often, the political leaders and lay people alike cry out "pray for us". There's never a mention of forsaking their sins. So, I ask "pray to whom?", because the God of the Bible, and there's no other but Him, will not hear your prayers until you are ready to forsake your sins and seek God with all your heart. Since you will not do this, then prepare for more and even worse because you've hardened your hearts. The wages of sin is death.

That verse was spoken to Israel at that time. It is not a lucky charm. God sends such calamities as national judgment.

What does Jesus say to the storm? (He did not ask for angels, or the Father, to do anything at that point).

What does Jesus say to His permanent disciples ("born-again believers") concerning 'mountains' ? To "pray" , or to "say to this mountain" ?

There is not a formula (so many people try today).
There is not a formula, as if "In the Name of Jesus Who Paul Preaches" ....
