Yeah, I voted on when I felt like I was ready for a tattoo - but I know other people think differently.
Thanks for contributing to the poll!

Yes, even among young ppl who know they will probably get inked sooner or later, it can be wise to wait a few years until they have a really clear idea about what permanent design they really want, to avoid regrets. 'Between 26 and 40' seems to be a quite popular option, doesn't it?

I think God can take any profession and use it for his glory. And there seems to be, at present, enough young Christians who choose a faith based tattoos to suggest that yes, it might be a valid option for a Christian to look into, career wise, if they like that sort of art.
It would seem that like any artistic role that becomes one's profession, one needs a lot of flair and zeal for it to become an option which will drive one's career aspiration.

So a young Christian man or woman who has artistic flair would also need that extra sense of zeal to be driven by the idea that yes, faith based tattoos are really worth giving and receiving. (If this makes sense?)

@Waiting on him It used to be such a man thing to do; like, "Do it to feel macho" (military men, bikers). But this has changed so much; now it seems to be about expressing something specific, right? Like yours would be really specific.

I still don't like them on women. It somehow lowers them I think.

@Hisman FYI, I saw this report in Huffington Post:

' "...Most of my clients are in the older bracket," Gallo-Kohlas told The Huffington Post. "We see a lot of women in their sixties and seventies getting their first tattoos." Gallo-Kohlas recalls a woman in her sixties who got a tattoo because everyone in the golf clique at her gated community had one. It seemed like the thing to do in order to fit in.'

Kinda like-someone jumps off a bridge, but to be popular we must all jump too. :D

Bless you!

So is it looking good already? :)
Are you trying to distract me from that other thread? Lol....I don't know about the tattoo. Haven't talked to her in awhile. Been busy.

I already have tattoos and have booked in for another one soon.
Yes, XhannahX, it's not unusual if gotten inked already to get more.

Your earlier point also about ppl getting Scripture tattoos: yes, it's very widespread.

Once this thread and poll run their course, it would be good to discuss maybe in another thread about whether more Christians working as tattoo artists would be an advantage.
