Hi I'm Sean. I was briefly active here a while ago. I come back because I'm trying to find real christian friends who really care/love/help, esp hopefully some here locally in NZ.At the moment it is very hard to get out of the house (even once a week) and even when I do/have it is hard to find real friends due to various reasons including: NZ small population, town/"city" where I am is "2nd/largest area but 2nd/smallest popn", isolated (valley surrounded by hills/sea), no drop-in centre/etc here, churches no interaction (same old useless bloc of singing followed by bloc of sermon format), etc. It is also very hard to seek God/Jesus (pray, read bible, goto church/fellowship, fast, etc) when so miserable. So please don't say "why are you on internet instead of real-life/seeking God/mediaction".I have alot of bible knowledge which I will like to share as usual (see egs below), but it is "now" equally/more important to find deliverance.some of my personal bible "discoveries" I recently put together for someone:Joseph.I have found versions of Joseph's famine in lots of ancient "mythologies" around the world confirming that the genesis account is true history ( http://headnheart.blogspot.com/2007/04/josephs-famine.html ). Furthermore I found a number of evidences that Joseph lived during the 3rd/4th dynasty in ancient Egypt. There was an officer at that time who had an egyptian name very like the biblical Potiphera (&/or Potiphar) and who had same offices/titles as either/both (Priest of On, etc). If this is correct then we now have a contemporary picture of Potiphera (picture at bottom of egypt paragraph on my freewebsite mentioned at end). From the same time is the "bent pyramid" which I believe may represent the 7 years plenty and 7 years scarcity in how its base is wider and top narrower (see picture at bottom of egypt paragraph on my freewebsite mentioned at end), as well as that the rocks of bottom half are big and the rocks of top half are small, (plus the pyramid is associated with pi 3 & 4 or 3&1/2 which recalls 7 yrs of genesis.) If correct it is evidence here and now from Joseph's time (and a great illustration to accompany the bible text.) Although I haven't actually found Joseph himself in ancient Egypt (though he is (unnamed) in the "myth" accounts), and although my discovery hasn't been verified by world historians and could be wrong, I am reasonably sure it is right and that it is "the first proof" that Joseph existed just like genesis says.(There is already David Rohl who claims to have found Joseph statue etc much later (12th dyn) but from my research this doesn't seem to fit and is too late. Others have suggested about same time as me but didn't have much/any hard evidences.)Eden.Here is link to article I already wrote which is hopefully written okay enough to easily get gist of?http://headnheart.blogspot.com/2007/05/garden-of-eden.htmlI not as sure that it is right as I am about the Joseph one. Basically the theory is that possibly the continents split up along the 4 rivers of Eden. It also is an ante-type of the Cross which my friend Pambi pointed out to me when I was telling him my idea. Plus found versions of the 4 rivers in a number of "mythologies" confirming genesis 2 true history.Joshua.I may have discovered a signature of Joshua son of Nun in the bible which if true is evidence of his existence and/or of the ancientness of the text. In Numbers 10:35-36 there is an unusual symbol called "inverted nun(s)" which bracket the text like speach marks ( http://www.sofer.co.uk/html/nun_hafucha.html ). There have been various uncertain theories as to what they mean. The question was asked in a yahoo group and I did some thinking of my own on it and came up with an idea that it might be signature of Joshua, indicating an addition written by Joshua? Possible evidence in favour of this is that wikipedia article on nun says nun sophit "final nun" can stand for "son of". However, I may well be wrong.Babel.Found versions of Tower of Babel in many ancient "myths" around world confirming truth of bible history. But I found out that this has already been done to some extent by some. http://headnheart.blogspot.com/2007/04/tower-of-babel.htmlDead Sea ScrollsI can't write this up better at moment but this relates to what I mentioned in christian singles forum topic on antichrist about how Dead Sea Scrolls are related to old and new testament prophecy (instead of usual historical interpretations of Scrolls).http://headnheart.blogspot.com/2007/06/pro...f-dead-sea.htmlAbimelech.As I said in forum topic on antichrist, Abimelech of judges 9 is a type of antichrist since 3yrs reign matches 3&1/2yrs tribulation and 70 sons of gideon = global via "table of 70 nations" of genesis 10. Likewise with Ahab: 3&1/2yrs famine of Elijah (Lk 4:25), 70 sons Ahab (2 ki 10:1).7 churches. One day I saw a picture of the Hebrew menorah (7 branched candlestick) and realised it symbolised 7 churches of Revelation. But later I heard a Chuck Miser program on Zechariah, and when I was studying the book myself I saw that the 7 menorahs there (4:2) are the seven churches giving 7 not 1 menorahs and totaling 49. The number 49 or 50 (jubilee) is associated with the church eg pentecost (and some think the church might be "raptured" on its birthday?)Song of Solomon & Revelation.Parallel between Song of Sol 5:10-16 and Revelation 1:13-20?Jesus tried by Sanhedrin.Alexander Hislop wrote in his book 2 Babylons that egyptian Osiris is Nimrod of Genesis 10. Osiris was conspired against by Typhon/Set and 72 conspirators/judges, and Hislop reckoned that Nimrod was so put to death by Shem/"Seth". This idea was still in my head a few years ago when I saw a sci-fi movie (it might have been judge dread?) that had a similar scene of man being sentenced by a council. However afterwards I saw the more amazing parallel of Jesus being sentenced by 70 or 72 member sanhedrim. The Osiris myth is therefore an amazing prophetic ante-type evidence of Jesus. (It is not conflicting with Biblical judaeo-christianity that there are prophetic antetypes in gentile mythology eg CS Lewis quoted Tolkien as saying "all mythology points to christ". Like I said in forum antichrist topic the beast/antichrist (& harlot Babalon of revelation, etc) is found in mythology. One expanation might be that at some early stage in genesis the prophecies were already known.)

Hi sean While we always enjoy things that show the scriptures to be true We have no doubt every word is inspired by God so do not need proof. Many of things you have found are interesting but must be weighed/viewed through scripture not the other way around. Another words We dont take all things in history as the fact then see if the scripture agrees We take scripture as facts and see where history agrees. Theroys, myotholgy, ect. can be based in fact or fiction so everything must be weighed against Gods Word. It is the only infalable truth. Now I do happen to agree with you on your overall thought of the dead sea scrolls but they are not nessiarly inspired by God so must be taken only as a second wittness where they agree with scripture. As does the rest of what you have mentioned above.

I more or less agree with your views, but I definately dont agree with you assuming/insinuating that I think/feel the reverse. If this lone, depressing/cold/negative kind of response is going to be typical of the rest of the board then I not going to enjoy stay here or stay long.

Sorry, miscommunication (unintended implying/"assuming"/insinuation) &/or misunderstanding/mistaken (unintended "read into") on either/each side.Re "stating our view", is this a denominational forum, if so what one (seems like Bible Baptist/Ruckman or BritishIsrael/XtianIdentity)?Thanks, I like to (try humbly) share interesting/helpful things & to learn (each & everyone has valuable things). Though, I do not think/agree that I am "hard on myself" (or others), but rather "life" has been/is hard on me. It is hard to "chill/enjoy/fun" when I have been/am in a lonely/loveless suffering/unfriendly pit for 10-20 yrs.
