Yes. But not when it began as a guild in the Middle Ages.

Are you sure it began as a guild in the Middle Ages? Or at least wasn't built upon previous beliefs and mysteries?

Some quotes, from DEMONIC FREEMASONRY: An Organization Within an Organization
-"Freemasonry is based upon the ancient mystery religions of Egypt and Babylon. The All Seeing Eye is sometimes considered the eye of god, that is, Lucifer. Freemasons recognize Satan as a Christian belief. They consider Lucifer as the good guy. Freemasonry is a fraternity within a fraternity. Masons make blood oaths." The all-seeing-eye is traced back to Egypt.
-""Masonry, like all the Religions, all the Mysteries, Hermeticism, and Alchemy, conceals its secrets from all except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve only to be mislead; to conceal the Truth, which it calls light, and draw them away from it." [Morals and Dogma, p. 104-5, 3rd Degree]"
-""There is no dissociation between the One Universal Church, the sacred inner Lodge of all true Masons, and the inner-most circles of the esoteric societies. [Bailey, Externalisation of the Hierarchy, p. 513]

Bailey is saying here that, once you get into the Inner, Invisible part of Freemasonry, there is no distinction possible between this heart of Masonry, the true Universal Church [which we know to be the church of Antichrist], and of the similar inner-most circles of the other secret societies throughout the world."
-""Lucifer represents.. Life.. Thought.. Progress.. Civilization.. Liberty.. Independence.. Lucifer is the Logos.. the Serpent, the Savior." pages 171, 225, 255 (Volume II)"It is Satan who is the God of our planet and the only God." pages 215, 216, 220, 245, 255, 533, (VI)"The Celestial Virgin which thus becomes the Mother of Gods and Devils at one and the same time; for she is the ever-loving beneficent Deity...but in antiquity and reality Lucifer or Luciferius is the name. Lucifer is divine and terrestrial Light, 'the Holy Ghost' and 'Satan' at one and the same time." page 539Helena Petrovna Blavatsky 32° Co-Freemason

I"m going to be blunt:
"Sam" having it be his number one priority to tell "Bob" how "Fred" is an evil person and secretly the boogeyman strikes me more as sinful gossip and fear--mongroling then anything resembling love.

Rather, if Sam loves God, Sam should have his #1 priority to be the most humble disciple of Christ he can be. And second priority to be humbly and lovingly serve both Bob and Fred. Not preaching at them. Serving them and having Christ's love shine through usually without words.

Ok, but if "Sam" just states his opinion to his "Bob", and leaves it to "Bob" to then determine his own freewill path, then it is not preaching at them, correct? That it is serving "Bob". Then it is in love, or no?

Regarding "Fred", didn't Paul state in Ephesians 5:11 "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

Hmm, that's odd ;) I don't know of them, so I can't comment. If they're another mason group, then they're under the umbrella of satan, in my opinion.

Actually, I’ve been reading about them tonight - they are not mason, but they are very similar and started in the early 1700s in England. Many think they started as a collection of people who were in smaller or odd professions which were not big enough to have a guild of their own. Often, the group run cemeteries - apparently one cemetery in LA specializes in cremation of people over 400 pounds. I do know that the OddFellow lodge where I live, which has been rented out did have a skeleton hidden in one of the corner rooms - which was used in ceremonies.

I am not interested in joining any secret society, but I am also skeptical of conspiracy theories about them. I have known several Freemasons - granted they were all at the first level, but they just laughed at all the gossip.

What is it?
Is it compatible with Christianity?

Go forth and discuss!

As you already know - I researched this extensively and learned that they worship Lucifer. It's in question whether or not those in the lower degree of masonry are aware of the doings at the top. I haven't researched that so it's anyone's guess.

It's well to note that the Vatican has been aware of the stealth moves to install a mason as Pope. They said "they only had to wait for the right Pope." And they got one. You can see where this Pope is implementing the NWO. He keeps telling the masses to accept refugees - it's the Christian thing to do. But his real motive is to break the cohesion in society. It's well-known that mass migration destroys a country's sovereignty.

Isn't letting someone know of something that is bad for them, if they don't know it, "love your fellow man"?

2 Corinthians 6:15 "what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever?"

I'm sure you're probably getting close to being tired of me asking, so I'll cease. Thanks for your replies.

Very well said. That is love in action.

Ok, we have to explore this Satan thing. Why would you think they are satanic?

Who do you mean when you say "they", the Oddfellows or Freemasons, or both? I don't know about Oddfellows specifically. Freemasons, please check out what I've written about in this thread thus far to see why I believe the information about them to be true.

Because someone told him to.

Heh, you have a way to put things Willie. No one told me to, I formed a conclusion after reading information about them. I could have concluded they were not after reading information from them and about them; however I concluded they are.

How about you? Do you think they are not because someone told you to, and you believe they are not or something?

History is a big thing for me. If you run in those circles you are going to run with those that are interested in conspiracy theories.
Once you get on the topic of Freemasonry, you can find some interesting stories and beliefs.

They've been around for a long time.... And they aren't what you think.

Walter Veith has done his homework. There is so much information in this video that one can only digest a bit at a time - but it shows the roots of many organizations that are affecting us today.

Their stock in trade is deception.

Yes, I understand the label other's put on people such as myself, and SG. I'm willing to take the abuse for it, to possibly help a brother or sister in Christ to not "fall into the snare of the devil".

As for some quotes that I listed above about why I believe Freemasonry is satanic (at least the upper tier definitely, lower tier perhaps or possibly not):
Some quotes, from DEMONIC FREEMASONRY: An Organization Within an Organization
-"Freemasonry is based upon the ancient mystery religions of Egypt and Babylon. The All Seeing Eye is sometimes considered the eye of god, that is, Lucifer. "

A couple of the quotes I listed are quoting Freemason leaders, those in the "upper tier", and their beliefs. The name "satan"/"lucifer" comes up a couple of times, and the fact that at least one of their leaders view Freemasonry as a religion.

If a religion does not believe in Jesus Christ (or OT Judaism), they are antichrist. And antichrist is satanic.

What are your thoughts on the above quotes? There's more information at the source I linked to. Check out the link when you have a few moments - it utilizes sources from books written by Freemasonic leaders - straight from their mouths, so to speak.

You can't always dismiss truths by calling them "conspiracy theories." When you really look into this you see the confirmation of it all around. Walter Veith spoke of secret societies as did President Kennedy - and I never heard anyone dismiss Kennedy as a conspiracy theorist.
