blue, green, yellow, black; it matters not. I our society women are not identified as men by wearing jeans/pants or shirts.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your worldview, some women can be clearly identifed as women when they wear pants.

There are many men in the church who wear shorts because I live in the sub-tropics, like Florida weather. It's the most appropriate and practical apparel. I wore jeans last Sunday but in a few weeks it will be back to the shorts.
When it's 45C honestly, wearing anything other than shorts is foolhardy. However, some legs just should not be open to the light of day.
And since when have women found men's legs an attraction?

Hahaha, that's awesome about the Kangaroo. I can't imagine roos being city-dwellers; funny thought.
Not quite the Sydney Harbour bridge, but daughter and granddaughter were surprised the other day to see a kangaroo hop through the local traffic lights, just two weeks after moving to a new home. A suburb of Melbourne, but certainly not inner city .

Would the man's hoodie be a modern equivalent to the woman's ot head covering and thus be deemed inappropriate?

That sounds like deer around here (Philly, PA, USA). How skittish are kangaroos, on average (I'm guessing city kangaroos are less skittish than suburban and rural kangaroos)?

do what you will, but in essence says do God's will and don't allow anyone else to dissuade you.

"do what thou wilt" is definitely on the antichrist side - it's a philosophy satanists, etc live by.

Having had skin cancer twice, one a melanoma, I would certainly have to disagree. People foolishly expose their skin needlessly to the sun. My father's cancer started in the skin and proceeded from there to the internal organs. He died within 6 months of first diagnosis.

Yes, kangaroos and wallabies can be very tame. The proliferate on many golf courses here...they will get hit by a ball and not flinch...very tough. You then have to play the ball just a meter from an animal which looks on with unveiled disinterest. But you remain very wary. A kangaroo isn't an animal you trifle with...they can open you up with their claws like a big cat. So you just leave them in peace and move on.

Okay, yep, there's that. Me, I grew up at the beach. I love the heat. I go brown in 5 minutes and rarely burn. My first experience in Australia of real heat was a 45C day...I went outside and mowed the lawns....while most everyone else was seeking the cool malls or staying inside.

When I was very young I did the same thing. I lived in California when most of the many beaches were empty most of the time. Later on they got crowded and I wanted to avoid them anyway.

I do understand still how people look at this. But I must add that once a person has had cancer, or perhaps worse lost someone close to cancer, it should make him sit up and take notice. Life in this flesh may not be the most important thing, but it is a definite part of our stewardship... as I see it.

Foolish things we have done when we were young. I remember getting drunk with a buddy in Danang, South Viet Nam and walking the dark streets. At each intersection we would purposely choose the darkest street to continue our drunken jaunt. Foolish we were. I was not serving God in any measure at that time. But, He brought me through it... and I am here today.

None of us are bulletproof. We can do some foolish things at times. I must add to my previous post, that while it was 45C when I was mowing...the vast majority of the backyard was under shade of some large trees, so no direct sun. I wonder though why no skin cancer in cultures that wore next to nothing for centuries. Perhaps there are other contributing factors?

I don't know. I read up on it when I had it a couple of years ago, but most of it escapes me now. I guess that means my brain is also going downhill...?

Normal, womanly behaviour. My wife has sometimes worn pants in business situations.
I nearly always wear pants these days as today's fashion in dresses and skirts do not suit me. But I'm still feminine even in jeans and trousers as I wear pretty tops and jumpers as well as my dangly earrings and silver bangles.

It has to do with skin color:

"The average annual melanoma rate among Caucasians is about 22 cases per 100,000 people. In comparison, African Americans have an incidence of one case per 100,000 people. However, the overall melanoma survival rate for African Americans is only 77 percent, versus 91 percent for Caucasians." SEER Cancer Statistics Review

I once asked my black friend if her skin got darker in the sun and she said that it did.

That is how scientists figure the white race developed. As people started migrating to Europe, those who had dark skin could not absorb enough Vitamin D to support strong bone structure, so died off from osteoporosis as their weak bones crumbled.

I think people must take responsibility for their own thoughts and feelings and reactions. There is nothing wrong with women wearing any type of clothing as long as it covers them.
