I am not against prosperity for Christians. I am against churches that preach only prosperity and leave aside the gospel of Jesus, but all scripture is true.
Throughout OT are numerous accounts of God giving land and wealth to His people...
Deuteronomy 8:18
18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

John 14
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

many other scriptures......what is evil about prospering is when it becomes what you love more than God.

So if Jesse Duplantis prayed and asked God for his territory to be increased and his storehouses to be full and God answered that prayer then it is not for us to judge.

If you pray as he prays maybe you will be blessed like he is.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

I can't find any scripture that says He doesn't want us to prosper......

3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

I'm not against Christians being blessed to be a blessing. I, myself, am working on my second million. (I gave up on the first million. LOL)

But, I do have problems with anyone, preachers included, accumulating millions of dollars from bilking suckers out of their hard-earned few bucks. (Mike Murdock is really sickening about this.)

I actually don't mind preachers making big bucks if they are at least selling me a book for a fair price.

Scripture warns us about preachers who eat the fat of the people for their own gain and do not feed the sheep.
In Mike Murdock's younger days I was veey blessed by his wisdom teaching....
Now he constantly says that God said their would be 100 viewers who would sow 1000 dollars...or something like that. Sad to see him lose his way.

There are numerous ways to plant seed...so don't make it sound like money is the only way.

That is good seed....which is what the church should do with what they take in as well...along with other things.

It isn't making a deal with God...it is His Word...for what you do for others He will do for you.
