Philippians 2:5,

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

As you lived according to the old sin nature in you before you were a Christian, you should now live the same way with the new Christ in you nature, spontaneous! Just as you lived before, you didn't even think about how to live you just lived according to your nature, be it sin nature but you just lived no questions asked.

Now a big checking point in the kenosis is; when you are going from just caring about yourself to caring for others. If you have ever wondered; am I making any progress in the kenosis process, that will be your testing ground for yourself, that is how you can tell if you are gaining any ground in being self emptied. When your focus has changed from self for self to self for other's. You are nolonger just an I for self only, but the I has a focus for other's and the ill's of the world. You may not be of this world, but you will have concerns for the world. Such as; seeing other's for what they were created for, knowing their very creation is the potential for Christ expression.

What is needed more than ever is the disposition of Christ to come through believers. It seems the lord has allowed such things as education and technology to come forth as never before, but what it does is showcase the deep down depth of who we are. The good, the bad, and the ugly, if you will. You get to see it all nothing is hidden it is out in the open to be read by all men. You can see some of the greatest deeds mankind can do for each other, as well as the greatest hatred and abuse that can be witnessed in the world.

We must live by the new Christ in you nature now, we cannot live from the unrenewed mind any longer. The unrenewed mind will express what looks like the old man, there has to be a the change of mind to go with the change of nature's from Calvary's hill. The old man is dead, gone, crucified in Christ. When Christ died, you died, all in Adam dead as Christ on the cross.

So the living of life we be lived as you lived before Christ, and that was according to your nature. Adam was created a living soul dependant on God in the garden for his very sustenance. When Adam disobeyed God he became dependant upon his new nature, be it sin, but the point is he became dependant on the new nature in him. He and all of humanity from that point forward began to express the nature in them, Ephesians 2:3,

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

It does not matter if you know it or not it will come out spontaneous. To be fair, no one in the Old Testament knew they had a sin nature. They knew they sinned and disobeyed God but they didn't know what caused them to do the sinning and disobedience.

So you need to stop at this point and ask the question how do we know about the sin nature, because we sinned? No, not until the Apostle Paul had his revelation did anyone know why they sinned. We, like the Old Testament characters knew we sinned but didn't know why. When you listen to Paul and follow him as he tells believers to do you start to get understanding that only comes through the Apostle Paul.

No one who is physically born, is born with "the divine nature". You need to further explain how that
"conversion" takes place. Otherwise, one shall follow your thought process under the false assumption, that helping others is evidence of the gift of God's salvation.

Great passage there!

I agree that a lot of so called education can obscure as well as enlighten, if the effect of sin is not taken into account and if God is left out...
