Except the Scripture points to it:

Revelation 11
[7] And when they [the Two Witnesses] shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
[8] And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Jesus was crucified just outside of the gate of Jerusalem.
you're correct, for Jerusalem is spiritually called Sodom, Egypt. supportive scripture, Isaiah 1:10 "Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah." this is Jerusalem spiritually.

you error, no assumption, bible facts. also he did appear in piblic to other beside the 12 apostles after his death and resurrection.
1Cor 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1Cor 15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
1Cor 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

it's amazing how people get stuck on something and refused to believe. the two witness are men, not two churches. and these two men witness is still in the earth to day. and every church, every abide, or at least suppose to abide in each one of the two wistness doctrine. #1. baptism, which John did. and #2. the preaching of the gospel, ....... of the Lord Jesus.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

BINGO, THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, AND THE WATER BAPTISM OF JOHN.

PICJAG.

The above 1 Cor.15 Scripture you're quoting is about the Church. That is who His disciples were after Jesus died on the cross and was raised by The Father, which meant more than just His 12 Apostles...

Acts 1:15
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

What can't you understand about Mark 13:9-11, Acts 2, Joel 2, and Revelation 6:11, and Eph.6:13? and especially with what Jesus said in Revelation 1:20 with identifying what the candlesticks represent? Why won't you believe Scripture?

Davy, Jesus is the Father, who raised himself from the dead. and the above five hundred brethren was eye witness, as was Paul/Saul himself.

You misquoted me. You didn't show all of what I said, which suggests an attempt to change what I said.

Here is what I said:

"The above 1 Cor.15 Scripture you're quoting is about the Church. That is who His disciples were after Jesus died on the cross and was raised by The Father, which meant more than just His 12 Apostles..."

The 120 disciples of Acts 1:15 that I quoted reveal other believers that believed on Jesus not of His 12 Apostles. All those in Christ, even for today, are disciples of Jesus, but not of His 12 Apostles. The word 'disciple' in Acts 1:15 is actually 'brother' in the Greek, but it's disciple (pupil) in the Greek in Acts 6:1 which points to believers added to the Church then also being called disciples.

So your straining at a gnat is all for naught.

my, my,my, you can bring a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink. I changed nothing. now, back as to raised our LORD'S body. we say it was Jesus who raised up his own body. supportive scripture,
John 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
John 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
John 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body".
so can our Lord Jesus lie? God forbid..... no, so what he said is true, and it was he, the Spirit that raised up his "OWN BODY". see, you have no clue of "diversified Oneness".

THANK YOU. these were the ONLY two men who was "alive" to God, meaning they was "BORN" with the Spirit. because DEAD men cannot WITNESS, there two was "alive" to God.
again Thank you, you're on point.
PICJAG.
And I thank you also!! I have been studying the two witnesses off and on for quite awhile.
Through the Lord's revelation of other truths, just in this past year, God has given me clear understanding also, that the Two Witnesses were John the Baptist and Jesus.
Your witness to me is a confirmation that what we both now know, is His truth and not another speculation.

You've gone out in left field brother, having left the subject of the two witnesses of Rev.11.
As a christian, our first rule of thumb is:
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."
In Rev. 2 and 3, Jesus repeated it 7 times!!
YOU are NOT hearing what the Spirit is saying!!

The two Witness, "the analogy".
what is an analogy? a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification. scripture, Rev 11:6 "These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will". the anology is to Elijah and Moses. but they are not the two witness, but the two to compare with.

the first witness, John the Baptist, the fore runner, the Elijah to come. Scripture, Matthew 17:10-13 "And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist”.
Stop, hold it right here. one don't have to go any futher, the Lord Jesus, who cannot lie just told his disciples that Elijah has already come, listen, "But I say unto you, That Elias is come already". BINGO, for all those who are still waiting for Elijah to come, you'll be waiting for a very, very long, time. the Lord Jesus cannot lie, so the Elijah to come had, and have come already. and his dosciple figured it out, listen, "Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist”. that right there should close the case. but let the Lord, the Holy Ghost teach us.
Question, how did John come as Elijah? Let the scripture speak, Luke 1:17 "And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord”. in the spirit is the ways, or character of Elijah. For John wore a hairy coat, and ate honey and locusts. Matthew 3:4 "And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey”. so John was the forerunner to the Lord Jesus as the prophet Elijah, scripture, Malachi 4:5 & 6 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse”. now once again Luke 1:17 "And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord”. these are identical verses. "to turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers", Without a doubt the prophet John is the Elijah to come. Just a couple more scriptures to put the icing on the cake. Mark 1:2 "As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee”. we know that it is the prophet Elijah, who is John the Baptist, but where in the scriptures is this written? Answer, Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts”. by now one must began to learn who the witness is?, John the baptist. but one more please, Matt 3:3 "For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight". where was this said?
Isa 40:3 "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God". now Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me". how clear can one get. for me I believe the word of God, it's case close for me.

PS side note, Isa 40:3 "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God". did anyone pick that up? Isaiah said, it is the "LORD", "our God" who is coming. and that's "LORD" with all caps, indicading the Father, the LORD "who made all things", per Isaiah 44:24. the sameone who is the word, in John 1:3 who "made all thing", the one who many call the Son, the same person, only diversified........

compare both of those two scriptures. Isaiah 44:24, and John 1:3.

Revelation 11:11 "And after three days and an half the spirit [breath] of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them."

Most Christians will not even be aware of these two witnesses, or the three and a half day period, until the end of it, for they have been taught that they are going to fly away, for that is what their "rapture doctrine" taught them. In fact most think heaven and eternity is on some far away star or planet, and not here on earth.

After the three and a half days, this is what happens in Jerusalem. God will send those spiritual souls back to enter into the two rotting flesh bodies, and these two witness will stand to their feet. When this happens, and the cameras are focused upon the two witnesses, the people of the entire world are going to come under much fear. The people will not be just afraid, but a life threatening terror. And as the two witnesses stood to their feet, this "paralyzing fear ["epipipto" in the Greek]" will grip the entire world, especially the Christians who have worshipped the Antichrist.

All ministers who have taught, "Jesus loves you in your sinful state, you don't need to know the Old Testament, for its past now. Jesus loves the Sodomites also, He's not a God of hate." And the biggest "hog wash" of all is their comments, "We are going to fly away in the rapture, so we will be out of here when Revelation come to pass". Friend, those ministers will know instantly they have been following the wrong Christ. Unfortunately they were not taught in their seminaries there are two Christ's coming, and the fake Christ comes first.

This will be a Shining moment for all of God's "Elect", who stood against the Antichrist, and observed as the events of the seals and trumpets took place. Each of those events marked the proof that God keeps His word, and his plan is right on time.

Revelation 18:4 "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

Who's people? How can you come out of something that you are not in?

Christians will turn into whores as they will be worshiping the false christ, sad part is they won't even know it.

Why do you think Paul said the below

II Corinthians 11:2 "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."

Only two choices,Virgin or a Whore.No rapture

We already well know there will be Christians in the middle east during the trib when that happens, as that is who Jesus was speaking to about fleeing Judea when those there see the surrounding armies...

Luke 21:20-21
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
KJV

That Scripture is referring to 70 A.D., and thereafter. The disobedient Jewish people were dispersed into all nations around the world for their transgressions. In the late 1800's until this very day, God has been supernaturally bringing the dispersed Jewish people back into their land so that the Scriptures may be fulfilled.

Luke 21
[20] And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
[21] Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
[22] For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
[23] But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
[24] And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

The times of the Gentiles were fulfilled in 1967 when the Jewish people, by the hand of God, defeated 6 arab nations and recaptured Jerusalem.
