So I just saw the new Arthur episode I heard about where Mr. Ratburn got married to another guy. It wasn't too bad. It was a cute episode where the kids thought he was marrying a woman planning his wedding that was actually his baby sister. Then at the end, it was revealed Patrick, the chocolate store man, was the marriage partner and the kids felt better about that, because he was real nice.

So, honestly, Id rather explain to my daughter through a film like this that a man marries a woman. Though we should still love those who marry like this, God says it is sin. Id rather this way then being exposed to it elsewhere. It is sad that sex education is being pushed for in KINDEGARTEN.

I know some here who view PBS as not being worth tax payer money. I really ask you look at it from a parent's perspective. PBS is the only free station that has decent and educational material for children. I saw somewhere, I'll have to look the facts up again, that children who watch sesame street regularly have better early learning skills and do better in school because of it.

But I think in a time where homosexuals are hated, this episode just teaches tolerance...it leaves room for discussion with a parent, because in this day and age, children will come across this. :( Sadly, not every parent will take the time to explain these things. I plan to be here for my daughter and teach her the truth.

Well, I guess we all probably do see things differently. Frankly, not having seen this "Arthur", that sounds more like the homosexual agenda of subversively "conditioning" and "indoctrinating" children, than anything else.

I really couldn't see it as indoctrinating. It is in our schools, on the news, and definitely here in Indiana. The show didn't address homosexuality. I can see it as conditioning for children to think it is normal, but for Christian parents, it is a much better way to open up discussion as to why this isn't right, then somewhere else.

You don't think a TV show celebrating a man's children's joyful acceptance of their father's homosexual wedding is indoctrination? Really?

In today's world, there are people who openly embrace sin. And we do have to fortify our children in what is God's Truth and how to best love other people, even the open sinners, from the time they are babies. That's just a fact.

Indoctrination is not graphically slapping someone in the face with the repulsive truth of something disgusting. It is, instead, sugar-coating the sin, and subversively presenting it as delightful, delicious, and appealing...…. so that it will be swallowed with no objections.
