The shortest and possibly most difficult one: "Swift sloths." Try that three times, really fast.

Worse is a Chinese example.
"四十四只石狮子是死的"

In English, "Fourty-four stone lions are dead."

In Mandarin,
"Sì shí sì zhǐ shí shīzi shì sǐ de."

You have a beautiful garden...I have always loved your photo's of it...
Must say I love English gardens, so lush.

My sister in law tells me that down there in Hastings many, many "English native birds have vanished."

Do you find that up north too?

This is an English Robin...small and chubby.
They are brave and cheeky. They'd even sit on my dads spade as he dug the garden...waiting for him to turn up a worm. Very very friendly, love 'em.

Since coming to Canada 44 years ago ...I can only remember them via photo's. :(

There is a special joy when normally wild creatures show friendly traits and get up close and personal without any intent on eating you.

I've not seen a chaffinch for a few years, but we have an ever increasing number of sparrows and long tail tits. Also wrens, robins and blue tits. And we've had a hedgehog this summer.

Those hedgehogs can be a nuisance. Leaving their feathers everywhere.

What is it?
Haha, that's a good question. Looking at the photo (using my phone at night randomly pulling up in the middle of the street to take it quickly before it took off didn't lend itself to brilliant photography). So...any guesses? Perhaps a clearer pic....

It very briefly looked at me front on before it turned its head...if I had caught that then identification would be easier.

It must be some sort of bird but definitely not an owl. I did an image search on Google and these are what it came up with among others. So funny.
