By the way, I did not add Mormons or Jehovah Witness to the polls. Both are Cults IMO

Myself? I feel I'm a Mixture of Calvinism and Baptist, but disagree with some points of both.

....and it sure would help me to know what you call yourself so I will better know how to respond (with love of course) to your post ;)
I have not cast a vote because without looking up some definitions or descriptions of those you list, I don't know enough about them to fit myself in one of the categories. A very short definition of each would be helpful. I normally study my Bible, but I rarely get into your terminology although I have learned a little on forums such as this.

And where would Pentecostals fit? Are they among the ones listed or...?

I have seen Pentecostals in every spiritual building I have entered. My simple definition of Pentecostals, for now, is those Christians who start moving a little to much when singing and hold their hands up in the air. I used to get SPOOKED by that lol. Yea I will add Pentecostals.

I just stand in church during singing with my hands by my side. Im the boring one lol

I guess then because of my own background and my current beliefs, that will subtract me out. I could not change what God has developed in me unless I were to walk away from Him. I won't do that!

My wife just said you misinterpreted me. I like to have her read some things I post. She is like Mozart when it comes to writing. All the denominations I have listed in the polls, I believe many of each, members, will be saved and I do not believe any of them to be cultish. Does this clarify?

Sorry if I misunderstood. I presumed you meant you were adding the Pentecostals to the category of cult.

Just to be clear I avoid ever using the word, "cult" as is commonly done by many believers to designate any group that confesses and professes to follow Jesus. Some people call the Catholic Church a cult. Some people call the United Pentecostal Church a cult. While I am not directly affiliated with either of them any more, both of them were instrumental in the development of my walk with Jesus.

I am a Traditional Christian or if you like Liturgical Christian, I am not an evangelical, Calvinist, or anything like that. I could be considered a mixture of Catholic and Orthodox, though in neither Church :)

All this below is foreign to me.

[Vitam in Eucharistia, Christus in eis tibi et pax Christi exsultet in aeternum.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

he who has not the Church for his mother, has not God for his Father - Cyprian]

However, As long as you believe that you are saved by his grace. Ephesians 2: 8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith IN JESUS CHRIST-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast." You are good ;)

Pentecostals are on that list but at the bottom. Does that tell you something about the poster or about Pentecostalism? ;)

However, As long as you believe that you are saved by his grace...
Catholics and Orthodox (or a mixture thereof) do not not hold to the evangelical doctrines nor the Five Solas.

I put Catholics first because they were on my mind. Did not want to step on the toes of so manyyyyy Catholics on these boards. Just please tell me Enoch, which you are one, do you guys still pay $$ to priest, to forgive your sins? Or was this just a joke that everyone made up about Catholics? Nothing but love for you Enoch.

And while we are on the SUBJECT! Do Catholics really worship Mary? Educate me please, because what I know, was Satan could not stop the Apostles from delivering the Gospel, so Rome perverted it! ? Thus there is a perverted (not inclining he is sexual perverted, just warped) POPE?

Whats up with all the Hail Mary's??? I was a Quarterback in High School, all the "Hail Marys" I threw hit the bottom.

Hello jshiii,
Maybe we are all mutts, lol. Are you a proponent of the "L" in TULIP? That is a tough one to accept.

What's so difficult to understand about "L" ? Simple, you either believe (elect) in our Lord Jesus Christ or you choose to not believe (non-elect). Our God is a God of Justice. You have to have Justice, before Grace and Grace before Salvation. Our God is A Just God! So I know it's not tough for you Nancy ;)

Only tough for those who choose not to believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Well Catholic priests are still authorized to give absolution of sins, and donations are still made for those in Purgatory to alleviate their punishment. BTW I am not a Catholic, so the Catholics will tell you that I have no idea about their teachings.

That is not how I understand "Limited Atonement".
