Great picture!

Canada has the Snowbird demonstration team, similar to the Red Arrows. Yesterday one of the Snowbird planes crashed (the pilot safely ejected.)
A Red Arrow crashed a while ago. I took that photo at the RAF museum at Cosworth. It was a great day out. We went for Ray and I thought I'd be bored but it was brilliant. My favourite exhibit was the Vulcan bomber which was too big to take a pic of.

Because they were not good enough? or because they were too good...?

Possibly the best fighter aircraft in the war. Every bit a match for the Sopwith Camel. Von Richtoffen preferred the more maneuverable Fokker Triplane, but it was a touchy machine that killed a lot of inexperienced pilots.

"A Tiny World"

Heavily processed to simulate Chinese Guohua style.

3D photo. Get about two feet from the screen (exact distance not important) Cross your eyes, so that the two mountains move toward each other. They should lock together in a 3D image.

Because I took the images a few seconds apart, the aircraft had moved many meters between them, so the depth is quite exaggerated, as if you were looking at a tiny model of the mountain.

I tried hard to get it to work but obviously I don't have the 3D knack of seeing it!! :)

Not everyone can do it. The trick is to cross your eyes. When you see two images moving together, they tend to lock when they superimpose. Some people do better when the images are switched.
