Slather it up with all the spiritual-sounding words you want, but God still told us that WE are to get off our comfortable chairs, go to work to earn the money to buy food when we also get up, go out, and deliver the food to wherever the need is. This foolishness of merely thinking Holy thoughts while even pagans are up and out in the streets doing the work God told us to do has to come to a halt.

Absolutely outside of human ability...and human reasoning. Same as:Genesis 22:3-14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. [4] Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. [5] And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. [6] And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. [7] And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? [8] And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. [9] And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. [10] And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. [11] And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. [12] And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. [13] And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. [14] And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

I’ll give a personal example..
Went to a mans house one day to repair his a/c. When I arrived the house was full of garbage the back deck where the unit was was littered with trash rotten meat etc... the man says I have no money I’m on government assistance, the two young adults with him say we’re on government assistance also, As if it’s encouraged. What do you believe God told me to do?????

You don’t think churches are out feeding the hungry?

John 14:10
[10] Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

2 Corinthians 6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Is not doing nothing.

This is what Peter and John did,
Acts 3:6 KJV
[6] Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Charity shouldn’t be confused with codependent.

Charity is an attribute of God
Codependency is an attribute of the flesh. This in my opinion was a large part of how the Pharisees were preventing people from entering in

How can one not do the things that He has ask us to do, when He is right there with us? How can one not feed the hungry, or cloth the naked, or visit those in their time of need? This fire within us, can not be put out by the world or the present darkness in it.

Which Jesus fully accredited to the Spirit within Him.
Yes, Christ accredited His miracles to BOTH the Father and the Spirit. At the same time, since He is God, He attributed His miracles to Himself also. This is the Mystery of God, and while Christ was on earth, the Godhead was at work.
And [John's disciples] said unto Him, Art thou He that should come, or do we look for another?

MATTHEW 11
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

A person can think that walking on the moon is the same as walking on earth....if that person can't imagine anything other than what has already been experienced.
I wonder if you could maybe rephrase this analogy? It kind of strikes me as part of the problem all of a sudden LOL

tax deductible and Is good for business. Went to a church meeting the other night and the topic was how can we get developers to bring money here. The solution being volunteer to read to children ...let’s get up academic scores, help what is lacking in homes, and better our schools to draw in the money. Or maybe I misunderstood that children were the target to encourage more buyers.
Glenwood Springs Colorado had a big push in that direction about eight years ago, and now nobody wants to live there anymore, Lots of long time locals are leaving

The spiritual walk is unique...as unique as Jesus Christ is. When we walk in the Spirit we are INSIDE His body (spiritually) looking out to see as He sees. This is a very unique and unforgettable experience. When we read the bible after that experience...everything makes sense and falls into place...because everything is pointing to being In Christ.
