Isn't about respect. It's about slandering his name as a pastor. It's a sin to slander, especially a pastor who we are commanded to hold in high regard. I don't care if you respect him or not. You committed a WILLFUL sin by slandering the name of a pastor.

I have never seen him claim to be a pastor. There are others on here that have doctorates of divinity who aren't pastors.

Read his signature on his posts; Preacher. We are told to hold preachers [those who carry the word] in high regard as commanded. Slip and slither all you want; You've committed a willful sin, and it is cemented on the site in black and white.

John Caldwell,
Steve,
I have not, and will not, misrepresent what anyone states on this board or anywhere else. [
/QUOTE]

That is a bold-faced lie...I have given about 30 examples of that very thing. In fact every Calvinist on here has shown your lying. Sometimes you lie, then delete the posts. Sometimes you misquote us by leaving words out. All dishonest.

What people mean is another matter and something that I cannot know
.

restore the deleted posts and we can all read it together, lol

@Anthony D'Arienzo made it very clear that Calvinism is the gospel. He clarified when Calvinism is rightly understood then it is the gospel. But that did not help his case.

You lie once again, you cannot help yourself.....I said according to the scriptures plural.
This is the dishonest thing you do every time.

Which gives you the right to willingly slander his name as a pastor? [Which is a sin]
@David Taylor , are you the pastor of a congregation?

If so, congrats on your ordination and selection. It is a great responsibility. If not, you may want to clarify (I'd hate for you to accept a false representation, even if by oversight).

Doesn't need a congregation; the command is to those who are called to spread the word of God. Who was Jesus congregation?

I did. You missed it. I could give you another fish. I could try to teach you to fish. But reason dictates it is not a good idea to lead a blind man towards a large body of water. :D
You provided a verse with a quotation from Thomas that would imply that Jesus is God based on the belief of Thomas but does not explicitly state "Jesus is God." So no, you have not provided one.

You need to apologize, but in all your self professed high spirituality you cannot fathom even being Christ-like in doing this, right?

Let's see how spiritual you really are in watching you humble yourself, and watching you apologize for all of your slander and false accusations upon many. Let's see Christ in you to do this without one "but..."

John Caldwell,
If you mean Calvinism and Buddhism are the gospel insofar as it aligns with Scripture you would still be wrong. Scripture itself (as a whole) is not the gospel message. The gospel is not that complex. Calvinism (even if correct) is simply not the gospel.

Try again. And as you try to wring some semblance of truth from your posts please remember to leave out the false accusations. Lying is not becoming a child of God (I'm starting to think you believe dishonesty a virtue :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:).

When someone claims they are schooled, yet can't read, I have to wonder to his credibility. You are naive.

No, I am pointing out a willful sin. Again, you can doubt his credibility; that's fine. What you CAN'T do [according to the Scriptures] is slander his name as a pastor. That is a sin. And assuming that you aren't being held hostage, you committed this sin willfully; TWICE now seeing as though you just called him stupid.

John,
If peace is going to break out, you need to stop misrepresenting your brothers in Christ. If you are going to accuse them of gross error, you need to quote them in the post. And a woodenly literal hermeneutic is the hermeneutic of the Pharisees (John 3:4; 6:52). What is needed is a Biblical hermeneutic. And you know perfectly well that the Doctrines of Grace did not start with Calvin.

This is all he does...He has done that here 10 times at least, even when we correct him he ignores it in an attempt to defame us.

The only thing I will apologize to him, maybe he doesn't have a baloney sandwich. But not saying he has anything else though. Too many glaring mistakes that if he wasn't lying he wouldn't make. You can take him at his word, but the proof is in what he knows, not what he claims.

Nope, you have much much more to apologize for, but to do so, it is not IN you, and you KNOW it.

Wait, what am I lying about? My degree?

For some reason I do not think @Preacher4Truth in the position to question anyones behavior.

If you need to apologize then do so for using baloney sandwiches in a bad way.
