1 Corinthians 2:7,

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

There was a term that went around through the Christian world at the particular time I came along. The term was "Christianity is simple," and I understand what the basic thought was. You believe and everything is going to be alright, everything will be wine and roses so to speak. I would beg to differ on that theology now, the simplicity of salvation my be simple, if you will, but the growth in that salvation takes a life time of growth and (I don't even know the right words to use) lifes issues taking place. Lifes issues sounds like such a pleasant word doesn't it. If you have lived as a Christian for very long and you have learned anything! it is that Christianity is not simple. Not simple in the fact there are many things to learn, many rooms in the schoolhouse, trials, tribulations, many ups as well as many downs.

Christianity is not for those that can't take a punch in the gut ever now and again. Why is that? One thing as we grow we learn we cannot strike back. Our mission becomes for others, even others we don't like or know. You may need to stay away from others at times but as far as having some kind of vendetta, you will have to work that out with the Lord. The scripture says that coals are heaped on them as a Christian learns to bridle their tongue. I have to confess, I had grandparents on both sides that were like Jesus incarnate. Never did I see then without self control. But I'm not my grandparents, thank God for their witness but I can't live like them I'm not there yet. I did see them get frustrated with people at times but they knew how to handle themselves, maybe because they had years of practice, maybe the times were different alot less preasure. I don't know because of the depression of the 30's when there were no jobs, money, or food, so they knew peasures of life. The world we live in today, the Lord is tightening up the peasure, and people can feel it.

What I have learned is; I can think about them and the pattern they set, but I have to use my resource for life. Which is Christ in me, he is my life, he in me is self control, I look to Christ my life for every situation in life I'm in. I have no other life, I don't want another life, I have lived another life and I don't want it. Learning Christ who is in you and your only life, will be an ever ongoing process. We may have a revelation of the indwelling Christ, but that is only the beginning you will be learning Christ as long as you are alive and breathing on this earth. No man masters Christ, it is the infinite knowledge.

You need to always remember there are only two knowledges that exsist in this earth (1) there is the knowledge of good and evil (2) there is the knowledge of the Lord. I'm not talking about knowing about him at this juncture, and he lives in me and we live together merrily ever after!

I'm talking about his mind, his understanding, his knowledge and wisdom, literally his mind. The wisdom of God is in Christ, in you. You want understanding, knowledge, the wisdom of God, then you will have to see Christ as your only life. That life comes out of you as you're expression, Christ in you the hope of glory! Hallelujah.
