The Fundamentalism you are referring to was a reaction to the creeping liberal humanism coming into the Churches early in the 20th Century...I want to start this thread to learn more about what points of Christian Fundamentalism are Biblical in basis and what are culturally inherited beliefs that were adopted over time.
I found the big 5 that I'm sure we can all agree on:
the five fundamentals:
What are some things that aren't biblical and are only cultural that are considered fundamental beliefs?
- Biblical inspiration and the infallibility of scripture as a result of this
- Virgin birth of Jesus
- Belief that Christ's death was the atonement for sin
- Bodily resurrection of Jesus
- Historical reality of the miracles of Jesus

I believe most all were correct. Today the term is confused with legalism or holy rollers swinging from chandleliers, picking up poisonous snakes...not even close to the original label. Basically, they took a literal view of Scripture unlike the loosey goosey theological liberals of today.
